this emerald jumper is lovely. Definitely a shade or two brighter than the Next cardi.

I appear to have ordered three dresses from AlliumB! The Susana in navy, the Audrey in blue and the Amelie in black.

I nearly ordered the Clare but it's wasn't in the sale.

Great shopping Sorrel - they have a good discount. I really like the Susana and I am quite tempted by the Clara in raspberry

Based on some of those dresses, have you looked at people tree - not sure about the colours but some of the styles might work?

Yes, the Clara in Raspberry caught my eye too!

Elizabeth - though the neckline looks a little high for me.

White pocket dress - I bet this is off-white!

I've been deliberating over that dress for too long it seems...all out in my size! I love the Olivia dress - will maybe get around to that if I can afford it. Unfortunately I apparently need things like a new front door and garden path, which severely dent my clothes budget.

The Massimo Dutti coat is lovely, but I really can't justify it. I will make do with my red one. I also have an aubergine one. It's a fab colour, though I'm not sure if it's a bit soft. Was a bit too pricey to worry about that, so I will just have to scarf it up.

Sorrell I think white at people tree is always off white.

Sorry last question for me - could I get away with this coat as ice pink??

The ice blue top and emerald cardigan look wintery to me- but the pink looks a teeny weeny bit muted? You'll need to see it in real life - a good test is to see if it looks great with the other colours in your swatch.

I thought the cardi looked too soft, not clear enough.

Hi winter wonders. I had my colours done 20 years ago and was a contrasting dynamic winter. Not sure how that translates to hoc. Has anyone got any recommendations for nude lipsticks or are they a no no? I always look awful in any I have bought.

I find Mac plumfull nudeish, as in an easy to wear everyday colour. I do have very pigmented lips though. Revlon lip butter in berry smoothie is also good if you don't want bright.

Hi beare, I liked super strawberry chubby stick when I wore it today (came free with a mag last month!). V subtle pink but basically made my lips stand out as naturally saturated rather than blend in if that makes sense?
Today I have mostly been wearing..navy skinny straight jeans, ice blue tee, charcoal sweater from cos via charity shop...
Debating a cashmere jumper in dark grey... What is the thing about v neck, round or boat neck? Is it a style thing or more a body shape thing? Think I suit more round or boat, less v neck as very flat chested . What do you folk choose?

Foogle, I suit scoop necks and some v necks. The style day looked at my shape and the angularity of my features etc to tell me that, and it has helped. I don't suit high crew necks, polo necks, or anything too high and tight, because it doesn't go well with big knockers.

Thanks jana! I don't know about angular or not in my face/body. Daft how I can't really work out what I look like in the mirror. DP says I doesn't think I 'need' to do style day so putting off for bit hoping he ll forget the price!.

In fact I did have a style thing done with CMB ages back but never found it very revelatory.... Mostly inferred I had a hour glass figure but lacked the boobs to balance it helpful

I bought this Hobbs bag on Wednesday. (Panic buy on the way to a meeting having realised that I'd left my work bag at home!)

It doesn't look anything on-line but it's very nice indeed in RL, quite glossy without being plastic looking. The red is also gorgeous and I'll be buying it soon

I resisted the impulse to try on this jacket. It's pricey but would be so useful for work. I didn't have my swatch wallet with me so couldn't quite decide if the grey was cool enough.

I also bought this cardigan from Tesco. Pale grey with silver buttons (that look like flat head screws!).

Foogle, maybe take that as a starting point. It is prob your favourite for a reason. Try on a few boat necks, not too wide.

sorrell I was in Wales so no summer dressing required but I find the hot weather difficult to dress for too. I'm just not that into dresses and although I'm nearly 5'5 maxi dresses swamp me.

I need a new navy nail polish. Any recommendations....?

I just bought a boots no7 patent navy one. They are buy one get one half price and I had a £3 off voucher so I bought that one and the Galaxy one I mentioned before. I also like OPI Russian Navy and there's a Barry M metallic navy. Hmmmm... Is it normal to have three different navy polishes?

My alium b dresses arrived today. Think I like the Audrey one though not sure if should keep (goodness knows when I think I ll wear one!). Got the black and blue. Lost my swatch thing so waiting for someone else to check if it's really a blue for us over to you sorrel?! Liked the fabric though, nice and drapey.
The silk one didn't do much for me I don't think as the waist was too high for my very long waisted bod

Annoyingly I was out today when the postman tried to deliver my AlliumB parcel. I'm going to have to wait until Monday to collect it. Grrrr.

I bought the barry m navy. I also bought raspberyy but now I look at the pictures of it it looks very familiar. I wouldn't be surprised if I find it in my nail polish bag upstairs!
