DH's birthday next week and have no idea what to get him. Maybe some clothes although that is rather dull. Last couple of times I have got him "experience" presents, tickets to Eddie Izzard and to a test match.

I need some advice ladies - just unpacked and seem to have drunkenly spilt something all the way down my dress on Saturday night - it smells like chocolate. It's silk and dry clean only. Shall i try and cold handwash it with a bit of vanish? Or just take straight to the drycleaners?

There's also a smidgeon of red wine I cannot be trusted

Just been doing some last minute pre holiday shopping. Bought dd a kimono with fringing and a play suit, things that I wish I could pull off but can't because I'm not 13 vicarious fashion shopping is great

liberty yes, my mum (and DP's mum) and 2 sisters (and DP's sister) are all very excited. I have lots of help! :)

Hi all. Just back from the vets where I saw Shopdog. She was in an awful way so I had to take the decision to have her put to sleep. She couldn't walk and her eyes were glazed over. So horrible. So I won't be here for a few days. Love to all. X

So sorry Shop. I know it is really hard for you and your family and you will all miss her terribly. You have done your best for her and that includes making that hard decision. It will be some consolation to know that she had a good life and is no longer suffering
