Continuing. From here some of us may have jetted off to far flung foreign parts, but we're still friendly, fabulous even in the heat wave and full of frivolous fashion talk. Come and join us Smile

Hi to everyone! Wine sounds good! Hugs to all especially One.Thanks

I was just a bit excited last post.Blush And I can't exactly share with dh!!

I now realise the last time I saw it was on my 40th birthday. Dh gave me a Hermes watch. I was wearing the Gucci watch and must have taken it off and out it in the Hermes box for safe keeping. That was a very long time ago!!! I am soooo happy!

BrandyAlexander · 03/08/2014 22:43

Oh and this is sooo embarrassing..... Let's just say my description was waaay off!BlushBlush

libertychick · 03/08/2014 22:45

Well done novice - can you not confess to him now that you have found it?

Great round up Dry.

So bra list is me, then Shop, then Sleep.....

MarshaBrady · 03/08/2014 22:53

Welcome back Shop

Great round up Dry

Good one Novice

MotherOfFerals · 03/08/2014 22:55

Quick delurk with a question about Hudson Mirar boots. shop, is it you that has them? Wondering if they are snug or gappy at the ankle? Looking for them to be fitted to wear with tights and dresses. AW dreaming already... Nowt worse than persistent rain when it's August and should be warm. #pissedoff

BrandyAlexander · 03/08/2014 22:57

No way can I tell him Lib!

I also found a black satin like Freya halter neck bra. Also 34DD, tags on. Would you like me to put it in the pack for you? Will try and see if I can find a link.

Oh and two more things. Are any of your dh's a size L and wear boxers. I bought Gant (I think) boxers and accidentally hit the L button instead of M. I have just put it away in the present pile (bought ages ago and forgot to return) but I would much rather give it away to someone hereBlush

Last, does anyone use soap? I got given 9 little hand made soaps in a box which I would normally re gift as I have sensitive skin. I decided to at least try one but decided that soap not for me after all and I prefer shower gel.

So up for grabs are the shoes, boxers and soap. Don't want anything for any of them, i will be glad to pass it on so pm me if you fancy any of them.

shopafrolic · 03/08/2014 23:01

Mother the Hudsons are quite loose at the ankle, and the leather is soft so they are v casual IMO. There are no zips so they just slip on. I lived in them last AW and they go with lots.

libertychick · 03/08/2014 23:10

novice you may have missed the post but one has asked if she could try the shoes - her pm isn't working.

I'd feel guilty grabbing the second bra as Shop and Sleep are also that size - if neither of them want it then yes, I'd be happy to try it.

OneLittleLady · 03/08/2014 23:11

Novice i posted above about the shoes, have been trying to pm you about them but my pms haven't been working. will try again!

shopafrolic · 03/08/2014 23:11

I don't own anything halter neck Lib go for it. X

Sleepwhenidie · 03/08/2014 23:21

34DD won't work for me Lib x

Sleepwhenidie · 03/08/2014 23:22

Novice did you forget the diamond encrusted bezel in your original description Grin - you do make me laugh!

libertychick · 03/08/2014 23:25

Novice, I'd love to try the halter neck bra then too.

This is great, I really need some new bras Smile

BTW - can anyone recommend some good trainers for running? I'm going to try Couch to 5km again and my old trainers have really had it.

Sleepwhenidie · 03/08/2014 23:40

I love Asics but get yourself to a running specialist shop like Runners Need Liberty. They will analyse your gait and tell you the best shoes for you. Don't feel pressured into buying there though, it is usually cheaper to get the model/make they recommend, then look on sportshoes.com or similar and buy last season's colours cheaper Smile. Make sure you invest a in a good bra, I'd say Shock absorber 'Run' every time (sportsbrabar.com good), but go up a size in band, they come up v tight!

libertychick · 03/08/2014 23:45

My old ones are Asics Sleep. I had my gait analysed about 10 years ago then kept buying the same ones but my knees are a lot more creaky now. You are right though - best to pop in to them and do it again just slightly concerned that I'm so unfit ATM that I'll be gasping on the treadmill Grin.

LinusDKD · 04/08/2014 07:39

Morning!

Such good news on the watch novice!

one how are you feeling this morning? I hope you managed to sleep a bit.

shop Maisons du Monde have some nice things, I agree with your friend.

I am doing half a linus today. Jimmies, white J Crew Painter tee (LOVE them) and probably my Gigis when I go out.

Topazandpearl · 04/08/2014 08:20

Good morning all, glad the holidays are going well. I hope you are feeling a bit brighter this morning One.

Good news on the watch Novice!

I keep meaning to restart couch to 5k again liberty. I was using the heat as an excuse to delay but it has cooled off now....

maradesbois · 04/08/2014 08:28

Morning,

After being woken early by ds (grr) have had plenty of time to catch up on the thread.

Novice good news on the watch!

My flights are booked for Oct trip which involves lots of evening events including black tie dinner for which I bought dvf maxi, will be playing the corporate wife role Wink for best part of a fortnight so lots of outfits to plan.

Thanks to One. Hope you're feeling a bit better today.

Shop welome back. Glad you had lovely hols. There is a Maisons du Monde in dpil's town, they bought ds a mini leather club chair there which looks fab in their living room.

Liberty I wear Nike free trainers to run, but the highest level (ie least 'barefoot') but agree you should go to a specialist place especially as you have knee issues.

Ok, off to get shredded, 2 weeks until hols...

shopafrolic · 04/08/2014 08:52

Morning all. Am surrounded by piles of washing and determined not to get on a post holiday downer but am struggling a little as Shopdog is poorly again and back with the vets. We got a call yesterday from the kennels to say they were taking her to the vets as her back legs weren't supporting her. I need to call them this morning in a while to see how she is. :(
One I hope you had an okay night Flowers

OneLittleLady · 04/08/2014 08:58

thanks everyone, I slept a little, kept waking up in a panic though, can't remember exactly what I was dreaming about, just that it was unpleasant. Still, some sleep is better than none!

Theoldhag · 04/08/2014 09:04

Oh shop I am sorry to hear that your dog is struggling Sad, how old is she? I hope that all will be ok for her. It is horrid to see loved pets deteriorate health wise, have you tried green lipped muscle extract? (((Hugs))) to shopdog.

OneLittleLady · 04/08/2014 09:22

oh no, poor Shopdog i hope she's going to be alright. Thanks

annielewis · 04/08/2014 09:50

Too much to try and catch up on at the moment - survived Camp Bestival (was amazing) but not exactly a fashion high! Am loving the blog links that you all put up for me - thank you very much!

Today am mostly doing laundry from the weekend and trying to look at the dregs of the sales in case their are any bargains left that I love and that actually in my size! Hope you all had fab weekends, am loving this sunshine and want it to keep going for the rest of August!!!

annielewis · 04/08/2014 09:52

I feel ridiculously pleased to have hopefully found new homes for them and out of mine.

I just remembered I did a huge bag clear out about 3 years. I got rid of 25 of them. I had some very happy family and nannyGrin
