Continuing. From here some of us may have jetted off to far flung foreign parts, but we're still friendly, fabulous even in the heat wave and full of frivolous fashion talk. Come and join us Smile

You could do that look Marsha. Think a silk shirt is classy, linus you were v chic in silk and jeans at the MU. I have your jeans, your Madewell top, now I want the silk shirt Grin

Me too. I've started adding stuff to wishlist wistfully

LinusDKD · 02/08/2014 20:32

there you go dry Grin

Ooh, I already have a black dress with a leather trim. It is a Sportmax dress and I bought it a couple of years ago in Singapore. It is a pain to have it dry cleaned though as they have to send it off to a specialist cleaner because of the leather trim.

Drywhiteplease · 02/08/2014 20:36

Lovely linus . Good point about leather trims though.

Marsha yes! that was the one. Nice place, lovely friendly staff. Didn't go too far South, just around the roads where think you are then got bus back from the square near the cafe. Not the best commute but there is also a fast train link so will see. Got a pretty good feel for the area, similar socio-economic mix to our current home which I like but dh less so. Plenty more places to visit too.

Amber fab boots. Hope you're ok.

Dry agree that dress is a difficult look. Even the model looks chunky which is never a good sign. I have a tan Zara dress with fake leather trim that really like and can be dry cleaned normally.

Silk shirt and smart shorts is a great look. I have a A&W playsuit with cream silk shirt & tie neck and black wool shorts which wear loads in winter. It can cause problems at cleaners too though due to mix of materials/colours.

I love my equipment shirts too,so versatile ,dry should get one

queen know lots of people had great results with fast and low carb diet, but I personally can't do it,and feel its not healthy at all,

novice one word! choooooo!

Lovely bracelet mara

amber wow those are amazing!

Bought my first purchase yesterday , a pair of red trainers, cheapish ones from a high street chain store, for the bargainous price of €12,couldn't bring myself to spend more on canvas trainers, but they are super comfy,

I joined a bunch of complete strangers for a game of volleyball this afternoon Grin, we were at a park and while dh was with dcs, I went to get something to drink, started tallking with a few girls about how hot it was, blah blah blah, , and next thing I know I'm playing volley ball with them! of course our team won Wink, It was really nice watching the dcs and dh cheering for me ,after finishing dh told that it was "really hot watching me play, and that he didnt think I had it in me,"I reminded him that I played regional volley ball! He said " I thought you were exaggerating " Shock , I wore nike's liberty print shorts, and white tank top, with my new cheapish red trainers. fab day today!

Snort @ Dry!Grin

Santa lovely to hear you settling in.

Amber, great boots and Thanks for you.

I have just lurked on 2 threads and discovered two facts about myself that i will never tell dh 1. It was years ago but I can still remember how much my wedding dress was. 2. I am not quite sure how much our mortgage is.Blush (In my defence thinking ahead to the conversation if dh ever found out when we first bought the house I knew exactly how much it was!)

santamarianovella · 02/08/2014 23:16

Thanks, yes its going on pretty well so far, people are very easy going here, DSS managed to make friends with fellow riders at the horse riding club he goes to, and dd plays with couple of kids at the playground , although she says they speak funny!

novice you should get it , wear it with your Valentino shoe boots and nothing else , you will make mrnovice very happy Wink

By the way I was checking matches new arrival earlier ,and my eyes! I got blinded by all those patterns! It resembled a jumble sale ,here

OneLittleLady · 03/08/2014 09:19

well,dp has gone Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

QueenCardigan · 03/08/2014 09:34

Flowers one

santa sounds like you're settling in. And my eyes at those clothes Grin
amber nice shoes

LinusDKD · 03/08/2014 10:01

Oh poor one! Do you have someone to keep you company today?

santa so happy the settling in is going well. And your DC are making friends which is the most important thing of all.

novice that see-through top reminds me of the see-through shirts YSL (? Not 100% sure it was him) made about 20 years ago. I remember Princess Caroline of Monaco wearing one to a wedding (I think) and it caused quite a stir. She did wear a jacket on top but she was braless nevertheless.

Rubbish weather here now. Sad

LinusDKD · 03/08/2014 10:02

Oh and I love this for A/W but the description says it's cream and blue and I prefer white.

It does look more ivory than cream in the picture so I might pin it on my wishlist anyway.

Drywhiteplease · 03/08/2014 10:05

LinusDKD · 03/08/2014 11:32

At £10 I couldn't really resist. Even though p&p was £9.... Hmm

BrandyAlexander · 03/08/2014 18:29

Hello! Is anyone a 34DD in bra size and fancy some Just doing a declutter of underwear drawer to get it down to a manageable size. Anyway, I have just come across this bra in a 34DD which is still untouched with label on. I think I bought it after one of my pregnancies and erm fancied a nursing bra free night.Wink Anyway in my post baby haze I bought what I thought was the matching underwear and ordered the wrong one. The knickers are a medium size but in French nude colour with black bits. I must have realised my mistake as my underwear has to matchBlush and never returned it. I never even tried it as that's still got both label and is in the original packaging. this is the one I should have got but mine has a black front panel.

Sorry for long post! Anyway pm me if you want it and I will pop it in the post to you.

AmberNectarine · 03/08/2014 18:36

That is so pretty novice - I'm a modest 32E or I'd bite your hand off!

LinusDKD · 03/08/2014 18:39
BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 03/08/2014 18:53

Hi all!

novice beautiful but I am a 30F is it weird that I always remember I'm the same size as QueenC?

Gorgeous colour blouse Linus, I can really imagine you in that shade. FWIW I think the C+P sweater could be worth a try, I think "navy/cream" is just what the brand calls it, but it looks white to me (and I love cream).

One hope you're ok. It will get easier!

Volleyball sounds fun santa, see we told you you'd make friends quickly!

I've had my mum to stay this weekend, and between her and my friends, I have gone from feeling slightly panicked about planning a wedding, to having almost booked the venue (just waiting for confirmation as it's the weekend, and need to call registry office) and probably chosen a colour scheme. :)
