Thanks re creepy man. It started off kind of non-threatening, but then I was so vague he got more insistent. Eurgh hate that. I just wanted to disengage so I didn't get the photo or number plate.

What a creep marsha! How in the world any man thinks that's an acceptable way to treat a woman I will never understand.

On a more frivolous note, a teal Trio sounds great. I saw a rasberry python one in Selfridges when I was in London for the MU.

It was a scorcher here today so I wore an old Sportmax dress that I adore but is getting a bit big for me now. I might find a seamstress to see if it can be taken in a bit.

Oh and my cheapo Asos heels arrived and I really like them. They are half a size too big but they don't do half sizes. But at that price it's nice to be able to wear a type of shoe that I would normally not wear and certainly not pay a lot of money for.

Meeting went well - or at least everyone there said so! Was one of those where I had to talk a lot and answer a lot of questions so was hard to really take it in - having a debrief tomorrow morning.

Blair I wasn't able to pick up the parcel - definitely tomorrow though.

Waves to all. Had a blissful afternoon on the sun lounger and read half a book in one sitting which I haven't done since DS was born. Blissful and made me long for holiday.
Drinks tonight with lovely new neighbours. Love champagne on a school night! I wore James Perse dress and Sam Edelman sandals.

Marsha car park man is horrible, pushy.....but you are rather gorgeous so I don't blame him, could have been more subtle though never trust a Merc driver

So whilst out this afternoon before I went on a course, a totally random, strange woman walked right up to me, touched my hair and said 'I like it, i just know you'll look good in black' I dislike being touched at the best of times so it was a little disconcerting. Nothing like marsha's creepy encounter though

Was also at the doctors today, won't go into detail as it would be gross and way TMI but I am now on more medication My tally is up to 15 different medicines long term

One, I'm feeling for you about DH being away, yet excited for the chance to really experience the peace and pleasure that more time to yourself can bring, safe in the knowledge DP is still yours - it's a situation not many of us get to try out so make the most if it! It's not a life sentence, think of it as an experiment and a period in your life that, good, bad or indifferent, will change again before you know it .

DH is away cycling. DM and DSF here to babysit on Saturday - I took them for dinner tonight and Sam TW and Aaron TJ on next table, he really is beautiful but I still can't get my head around the age difference...think he must truly be an old soul in a young (and gorgeous ) body! Dry don't go getting ideas! What I am most jealous about of course is STW directing Jamie Dornan in sex scenes for 50 shades !

I'm a about worries about 50 Shades, the movie. Path ink the book success was due to the fact you could read it secretly on your kindle (mind you I saw loads of books being read in public too), just not sure how the sexy will translate on the big screen without looking seedy. A challenge.

Big thunder storms this morning, fab how quickly it has cleared up. Love a bit of heat.

Morning all - what an incredible storm! Never heard thunder like that here - lasted for ages. Everything feels fresh today. I am running out of clothes - need to do the ironing but can't bring myself to in this heat!

Very muggy here though lots of clouds. Already hotter than it was yesterday. Think I'll be staying indoors today, at least there's a fan!
Grey acid wash skinnies and a mens oversized breakfast club tee that I chopped up to suit today

Shopdog ate all her breakfast today and looks healthier but her breathing is still erratic and shallow so not sure. We're keeping a close eye on her in this heat.
I did my ironing this morning - now melting! I don't do stylish well when it's this hot. Will pick up DS from nursery (last ever day) and then the bikini is going on!
The 27 Jimmies fit well so will definitely keep.

Anyone in need of a new swimsuit? Linus kindly gave a me a lovely blue J Crew one at the meet up - I have finally tried it on and it is big on me so happy to send it on to whoever would like to try next. It says 12 on the label (Not sure if it means US12) but I would say it is more like a 14. It is also quite long in the body....... let me know......it's never been worn.

Dry cancel the order if you can? I should be able to post you my copy by tomorrow...... MNV book club!

shop the swimsuit might be ok for me if it's more a 14. Would be happy to pass on if it's not right for me. My old swimsuit doesn't fit as it's too tight on the bust
