MoF love that jumpsuit and great discount! If you're happy with the fit I'd say keep. It would make a good wardrobe staple and won't date.

MotherOfFerals · 07/07/2014 23:28

There are toga boots on other websites but not at the NaP discount. Tempted by the full price navy suede ones too.
I do like the jumpsuit but humming & hawing over how much I'd wear it should invest in a bench instead, much more practical

QueenCardigan · 08/07/2014 07:59

Grin at bench mof. Welcome btw.

I gave up on mumsnet last night. Stoopid internet connection.

shop no offence taken. You know I have an affinity with man made fibres. A bit of poly never bothered me. I sweat like a pig anyway and it doesn't make any difference whether I'm in cotton or poly. Anyway, have decided not to order as doubt I'll be getting any more money to spend on clothes for a while. We got a quote for some damp proofing yesterday as we have a damp wall. Turns out the floor is damp too so apparently needs excavating and redoing. 10k Shock. You can imagine how that went down with dh. Expect me to be wearing rags next time you see me Grin

shopafrolic · 08/07/2014 08:13

Oh dear QueenC - not good :(
Morning all!
Dry I'm wearing your dress today, but switched the belt for the one I wore on Saturday. Just need to figure out what to put on my feet - probably just gold Havs today.

libertychick · 08/07/2014 09:13

Grrr just lost a post...

Wearing yellow BR pencil skirt today with Cos ivory and navy Breton and grey Whistles Lena blazer. I have a cold so feel the need for a slightly warmer outfit. Bare legs though!

QueenC that is a bummer regarding the damp.

DD was hilarious this morning. I was fussing over what to wear and she said 'why don't you wear a short top with your tummy out like the ladies in (names out local high street)' Ahem, that would be a no :) followed by a long discussion on what body parts we can and can't 'wear out'.

MarshaBrady · 08/07/2014 09:58

Mara I really like the red dress as well as Sleeps fabulous one. It's a great colour.

QueenC ouch Sad that is annoying.

Liberty do you think you'll get the Duffy?

Topaz yes some lovely watches on Saturday, I noticed!

MoF I love that jumpsuit. What do you think will you keep it?

annielewis · 08/07/2014 10:01

novice I sympathise - my DH and yours sound very similar! Are you a SAHM? I can't remember who does what.... :)

Queen C I have that top in white, its cute!

Am not getting enough time online at the moment - to keep up with everything! Welcome to MotherofFerals I'm a newbie too....

Stokey · 08/07/2014 10:17

Hello everyone

Just been catching up with news of the MU - sounds like a blast

I got back from Ibiza just in time to see the TdF whizz past yesterday afternoon, am a little tired this morning.

So Ibiza style - Jumpsuits and playsuits were ubiquitous - I was quite glad I hadn't panic bought one last week (I tried on lots). The playsuits look less samey than the jumpsuits on the whole.

The favoured beach cover-up this year seems to be a white doily. I thought it looked nice the first time I saw one but got a bit bored by the 4th or 5th

Denim shorts were also very popular of varying lengths. A few ones where I had to cover my eyes for modesty's sake.

Hello MoF. I'm thinking of buying the Celitas but not sure if they will work with the dress I'm wearing (this w/e) which is very red.

Stokey · 08/07/2014 10:27

Marsha forgot to say that I am wearing this J-Crew skirt today and loving it. I'm pretty sure it was cheaper in store, I think I paid £45

shopafrolic · 08/07/2014 10:43

But how was it Stokey? Fun? Which clubs? Did you feel good? :)

OP posts:
Stokey · 08/07/2014 10:53

It was amazing Shop , loads of fun.

Highlights were Sa Trinxa at Las Salinas beach on Saturday (horribly hungover at the start but dancing on the beach by the end Grin ) and Space on Sunday.

Disappointed they don't open the roof terrace at Space til midnight now and none of the youngsters were screaming as the planes went over but we made up for it.

Good to know we can still keep up!

MarshaBrady · 08/07/2014 12:35

Sounds brilliant Stokey!

And that t looks fab. I might be in that area tomorrow.

shopafrolic · 08/07/2014 12:43

Nice on Stokey - love Salinas beach - one of my favourites. Glad you had such a good time.

AmberNectarine · 08/07/2014 12:45

Right, latest installment of wedding-quest - ordered a navy blue DVF Bentley from the Outnet.

libertychick · 08/07/2014 13:15

That will be great on you amber.

Marsha I have decided not to buy the Duffy. It's very close fitting on the model so I think I would want a large rather than medium and large is sold out.

shopafrolic · 08/07/2014 13:57

Does anyone have a J Crew code that works on sale stuff?

OP posts:
BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 08/07/2014 14:24

Stokey welcome back, sounds like you had a fab time.

I was looking at the bentley Amber but it's not really work appropriate so I don't know when I'd wear it. Great for a wedding though.

shop link after you order :)

shopafrolic · 08/07/2014 14:35

Thanks for the code Blair - purchases not too exciting really

hat for DS
tee for me
and
panama for me
Ordered a couple of belts from the Outnet earlier but I think Marsha and Linus said they were thin? here and here

OP posts:
BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 08/07/2014 14:56

Love the panama, I have it with the black ribbon (bought last year, just before you stopped being able to order from the US site!)

OneLittleLady · 08/07/2014 17:10

Ugh, got absolutely soaked while I was out, one minute it was bright and warm and the next there was a huge thunderstorm and it poured it down. Made an old lady smile by telling her looked lovely. she'd obviously gone to great effort to dress nicely and do her hair and make up. She told me her and her husband had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary and they'd been out shopping for their upcoming holiday Smile

libertychick · 08/07/2014 17:50

Now that's the kind of old lady I want to be! Hope you are dried off and warm now one.

Sounds like you had a fantastic time stokey. Love the Ibiza style round up.

I have had a very trying day at work. Oh well it's over now.

QueenCardigan · 08/07/2014 19:15

Yay stokey you survived. Glad you had fun. Was it your 40th or someone else's? I'm sure yours is coming up. You're very quiet about it unlike me who went on about it for months.

Is the dvf Bentley the lace one? If so, lovely.

Someone told me today that I have lovely clothes Smile

LinusDKD · 08/07/2014 19:28

Evening!

shop that IM belt is nice but very thin.

Welcome MoF!

Sounds like you had a great time Stokey

queenc that quote is painful! Ouch!

What rubbish weather today, nothing but rain. Wore my grey TS Leigh skinnies (my first pair, love them) a white Asos tee and my Hush knitted jacket.

Drywhiteplease · 08/07/2014 19:32

What to wear to an agricultural show:
Dubarry type boots it may be hot, it may rain but there will defo be loads of shit everywhere so suede ballet flats are OUT Sad Grin
Gap dark wash legging jean tucked in
Cream lace shell top
Fitted tweed jacket (pref a cheap one with low wool content Wink )
Sunglasses
Umberella

I had a horrible flash back to the kilt flash at Ascot when looking at the prize winning bulls Shock

Shop glad you like the dress

Outnet returns by courier is such a problem for me. Wish they did postage option.

shopafrolic · 08/07/2014 19:40

Dry CLA Gamefair in a few weeks time. Voguette country fair MU? You sound as though you rock the look :)
