Funky trainer wearers over here please...

Have to admit those hot summer days are well over. So... I need some new trainers for the winter, as funky as poss.

I know some of you don't like trainers but I do a lot of walking so there...

Right, they need to be dark so they don't show the dirt.... that's about it. Am willing to pay a fair bit as i'll probably wear them most days.

Thanks !

i like sketchers, the lace up type ones. i've got dk blue ones they're great

Gobbledigook · 30/08/2006 20:18

I've just got these

I like the turquoise stitching on the brown. I was unsure for a while but they got the seal of approval from my 2 ultra trendy younger brothers yesterday

Gobbledigook · 30/08/2006 20:19

They were a bit cheaper in the shops btw

NomDePlume · 30/08/2006 20:20

Gobble is a trainer fiend

I've got a pair of nike air rifts, very comfy the toe bit takes a bit of getting used to tho, but after that lovely! Not sure if they be too summery tho but they do come in pretty much every colour you can imagine

Gobbledigook · 30/08/2006 20:24

Helooooo!

Wheely - you must be near a Kendals? Isn't there a House of Fraser type shop on Oxford Street?

Thomcat · 30/08/2006 20:24

Adidas everytime for me.
I love the classic shell toes.

CountessDracula · 30/08/2006 20:24

god knows if they are cooooool prob not but I have these (you can click for different colours) and they are the MOST comfortable trainers ever, I have had skechers and all sorts but these are the biz if you walk a lot

CountessDracula · 30/08/2006 20:25

(footprints are made by Birkenstock and have their footbeds so are seriously comfortable)

It's all about the adidas

The Boden ones are ok and all that, nothing actually wrong with them as such, but they're the sort of thing I'd expect my 60 year old mum to wear, not me.

thanks everybody - was off looking at HofF website and lots of posts...

According to the HofF website no london stores stock Fly ...

Malory - sorry didn't mean to sound funny about your choice, just didn't fit my difficult requirements. Gosh I won't be allowed back on the style boards now

LOL at bouncy Southeastra - that sounds like a good recommendation !

CD - Have been wearing Birkies all summer (again) and they have definitely been comfortable so will take a look.

Off to google the rest ! Thanks !

Thomcat · 30/08/2006 20:38
