Funky trainer wearers over here please...

Have to admit those hot summer days are well over. So... I need some new trainers for the winter, as funky as poss.

I know some of you don't like trainers but I do a lot of walking so there...

Right, they need to be dark so they don't show the dirt.... that's about it. Am willing to pay a fair bit as i'll probably wear them most days.

I like Skechers. Last year I got some black ones with funky little flowers on them.

dd has a pair with the pink velcro..funky yet cut at the same time.

I like the ones that Gobbledegook and Marthamoo linked to below. This is very old fogey-ish, but what do you wear white trainers with if you're older than 19? (like the stan smiths?) I just can't see me in them

I just stick to Converse all the time, but must admit they're fairly scruffy and not exactly yummy mummy.

I have these and love them. I have sprayed them to waterproof them, and have had them for four months, wearing them in all weather and they still look great. Perhaps a bit slobby though, I don't know. But go well with jeans or linen trousers. I was warned off Converse by too many people who said they fell apart too quickly, and also by a male friend who bizzarely told me they were only good for climbing lampposts?!

I have to agree with everyone that loves the Adidas shell toes -they're fab! My latyest funky trainers are these!
