Funky trainer wearers over here please...

Have to admit those hot summer days are well over. So... I need some new trainers for the winter, as funky as poss.

I know some of you don't like trainers but I do a lot of walking so there...

Right, they need to be dark so they don't show the dirt.... that's about it. Am willing to pay a fair bit as i'll probably wear them most days.

Wow TC I am impressed at that list of trainers. I must say, I've always had a thing about silver trainers (silver shoes in general tbh) but didn't know if I was too old and dull to carry them off. Will have to have a look - maybe as an extra pair !

Right, am going to go shopping, maybe tomorrow...

and also... I looked at the website for my nearest department store, Bentalls, and they do Fly shoes apparently so.... fingers crossed...

I've got these in pink and they are fab - very thin lightweight sole but soooo comfy and because their lightweigth leather I can wear them in summer without socks and not have smelly sweaty feet

I'm curvy cod and I wear them - maybe I shouldn't !! No I think there is a pair of trainers out there for everyone ... maybe you should try thinner soles or thicker soles or something...

Load of those Diesel ones are nice. I loved my diesel trainers but they've had it now!

Rocketdog are amazing, almost trainers, and just as comfy, but more like shoes.
www.schuhstore.co.uk has a good selection, but they have many more in the shops.

Hmmm - really wanted to get the Birkies, but they didn't fit right...I've got a wide foot that is fine in their sandals, but didn't do well in their enclosed shoes.

I came home with a pair of Mephisto shoes. The type is their AllRounder, and the style is the Niro. Very comfortable, and come in all sorts of delicious colour combinations, but need to try them on with socks/jeans to make sure I don't look silly in them. They also may be more suited to summer weather than winter.

I am rubbish at links, but will try anyway....
