I had that in Aus Shop which I found very odd. Think it was because I was on my mobile, but not sure what happened with it.

Linus has your Asos arrived?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 06/05/2014 12:56

Ooh nice DM pics. I love VB's gown, would love to get married in something as simple as that. Why is Kim K wearing different shoes in pics 3 & 4? Rosie H-W looks amazing. Kate Upton = wtf?? Diane Kruger gorgeous. Agree Lupita got it wrong.

Marsha I can't fast tomorrow either as we have BIL coming for dinner! I will just have to only do 1 fast day this week. What a shame Wink

Hope the new drugs work Shop.

I have noticed lately more sites either don't let you pin, either give you weird error messages or prefer you to use their own pin button instead of the one you put at the top of your browser. I still need to learn how to pin from safari on iphone.

MarshaBrady · 06/05/2014 13:04

Yep Rosie looks flawless and amazing.

santamarianovella · 06/05/2014 13:07

novice thats a very nice of you,bet she would enjoy it,and yes you should have a bodyguard following you all day!

dry love your shoes, and your matchy outfit Wink

queen that's good, best of luck with your first client

shop I really hope your appointments goes well, and the dr can finally ends your misery, its been a bit long,Flowers

blair don't worry,i don't think one slice of cake can cause a lot of damage,

The met gala dresses, are a bit WTF! Kate uptown looks dreadful,so does Katie Holmes, and SJP should stop wearing ball gowns now,its getting old,I really hated the branding of de la renta on the back of her dress,

,but I loved Charlize theron, and Diane Kruger dresses, very classy,

I got a code today, not matches one, thinking of getting some flats..that might take a while I always add things to my wish list but once I'm ready to buy,I can't choose!

maradesbois · 06/05/2014 13:10

Hello there,

Thanks so much for all the London posts. I feel quite excited about house hunting now. Not really on same wavelength as dh, he is prioritising commute and type of house whereas I am thinking location and schools. We'll get there, plenty of time to look.

Re met ball love Diane Kruger & giselle's looks. Classy. vb and rihanna both look fab, those abs! Really cannot be bothered with all that tongue pulling and gurning from cara d and co though, so irritating.

LinusDKD · 06/05/2014 13:39

No Asos order yet marsha.

I love what Emma Stone is wearing as well, my favourite outfit.

Lupita, I hope that's a one off fashion faux pas!

And I hate to say it but I like KKardashian's dress a lot. Lovely colour, cleavage but not too 'bursting out trying to escape' and a nice lenght on her.

santa Diane Kruger can wear a sack and still look good. Especially as she is on the arm of Pacey Envy

shop I really hope you will start to feel better soon!

Stokey · 06/05/2014 14:03

I really don't like Rosie H-W's matchy shoes

And am on my own here but I quite like Lupita's dress

Stokey · 06/05/2014 14:21

And Blair apparently it's international NO diet day - so eat cake with relish

maradesbois · 06/05/2014 14:24

stokey don't really like Rosie hw's look for black tie, not keen on balmain in general. she is so stunningly beautiful though.

novice glad you found your ring! I have a boodles one too that hid at bottom of a box of tampax yesterday when we went to the beach and had a worrying few seconds this morning before I remembered!

Secretsquirrel13 · 06/05/2014 14:32

Shop hope it improves soon.
Novice you are like one of my dc always leaving something somewhere! Glad you found it and lovely treat for your mum.
Stokey are you near Victoria park? We went there during the Olympics and it was great for the dc.
I have had a rummage round tk maxx today was pleasantly surprised to see zadig and Voltaire, vince (nice cotton sweaters and silk shirts), some nice kooples tops, also lanvin sunglasses tried on but rejected and a lot of Elle McPherson underwear. The shoe and bag offering was a bit shoddy though apart from a beautiful emerald green Loewe bag for £500 not their standard fare. I was there buying gifts so no purchases for me- this is a boring recurrent theme I know.
Going to look at the met gala pics now ,back later.

Fedupnagging · 06/05/2014 15:40

Novice what a lovely thing to do for your Mum. If you dont fancy a bodyguard, am happy to 'look after' your bling. Esp the boodles ring!

We moved from very S London/Surrey when ds1 was 18m and I don't regret it. We moved to a quiet 'safe' area so I felt they had more freedom than they would if they were still there. Now, however, it would be great living in London! It doesn't take long to get there though.

Sounds like you had a great time Dry. Nice shoes.

Not had time to check out the met gala dresses yet. Will do tomorrow as have visitors tonight. Good job it's no diet day.

Drywhiteplease · 06/05/2014 17:01

Bloody hell Marsha I could totally do that look! have silk blouse, floral pencil skirt, camel coat but where to?.....am planning to wear my pencil skirt to MU, love it.

really rather pissed off that I didnt get an invite to Met Ball.

Gisele looked like she was about to pop out of her dress!
Rosie HW looked like she was auditioning for a part in Spartacus.
Johnnie Depp looked a plonker.
Sarah JP appears to have a ladder attached to the back of her dress.
Ryan was perfect swoon
David looked fab, I quite liked VB dress like a zip but she looks so hard and poses too much.
Even Ryanna looked passable.
Kate Bosworth looked tiny.
Gosh I'd love to do Joan Rivers' style police job Grin

Shop and QueenC hope your days went well.

OP posts:
BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 06/05/2014 17:08

Don't mind if I do Stokey! :)

That would be a lovely MU outfit Dry but probably too warm for coat, shame.

santa I am the same, pin stuff all the time but if I want something specific I take ages to search for the perfect thing. Then get indecisive in the sales!

Drywhiteplease · 06/05/2014 17:19

Marsha PM!!!! Quick

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 06/05/2014 17:21

Ha ok am on it! Grin

BrandyAlexander · 06/05/2014 17:23

Sadly, I have to agree with QueenC I am a nightmareGrin I am loving my ring just that little bit more after yesterday's stress. Oh and shudder at Amber's near miss!

Some of the gowns from last night were lovely but oooh some were a bit of a horror! I would happily be Dry's sidekick on her fashion police show.

Shop, hope the new drugs work quicklyThanks

I enjoy taking the dcs to the theatre, zoo, aquarium and museums in London, though i don't live centrally. If you can afford to do lots of nice things and/or find making friends easy then I think London is terrific as so much going on and also so diverse (taken for granted when you're a Londoner).

Do you know I got to the end of April without spending any more money on clothes?! The Rockstuds beckon though I am not in much of a shopping mood at the moment. I have a client meeting in Mayfair next week so will go and try them on in the mothership Selfridges.

MarshaBrady · 06/05/2014 17:31

Dry you made my day. Grin

Novice yes go to the mothership. What colour will you go for do you think? Do you fancy the neon?

MarshaBrady · 06/05/2014 17:32

Secret that sounds like good stuff.

Fedup many friends are very happy in Surrey.

Drywhiteplease · 06/05/2014 17:40

Secret might pop to Tacky max tomorrow

OP posts:
BrandyAlexander · 06/05/2014 17:43

Marsha, yes I liked the yellow neon but might it down to the pink neon!

Fedupnagging · 06/05/2014 19:01

Marsha, I just reread my post and it doesn't come across how I meant Blush. I was thinking about how busy all the roads are/were and road safety etc for children walking to school, parks etc. Definitely not thinking ghettos!

Fwiw, we did enjoy living there and only moved for dh's job. In fact initially I was most unimpressed at leaving. Love where we are now though.

Have had a quick look at the met gala - think Charlize Theron looks lovely. Also loved Soalnge Knowles pixie hair. She looks great in orange although the dress ia a little shapeless on her.

MarshaBrady · 06/05/2014 19:15

Fedup no not at all! It is mixed here, I do like it (still wouldn't say no to somewhere very central if offered).

Novice they would look fab.

Sounds good Santa what type of flats?

QueenC how was today?

Fedupnagging · 06/05/2014 19:32

Glad I didn't offend Marsha.

Should I ever come into vast quantities of money, I fully intend to have a 2nd home in Central London. dream on. One of my closest friends would do it the other way round.

Really need to open the wine now, guests here v soon.

shopafrolic · 06/05/2014 19:44

QueenC how did you get on?
Dry I want to know the secret. What have you done for Marsha stamps foot!

Drywhiteplease · 06/05/2014 19:51

I'm offended Fedup born and bred Surrey, ghetto MOI?!!! Shock mon dieu haven't you been to St George's hill? Wink

Had a crappy day at work....bloody staff politics and back stabbing get me down. I just want to play with the year 1s Smile they're much nicer.
