Pink, Mig!

Maybelline do a good gel liner, Anni. I also like Bobbi Brown, it's more expensive but it does last ages.

I am a gold member though I only ever usually buy at sale time or discount but I've used them since they first opened. Wish I was on Matches or Nap's list but sadly not! I like this shirt but saving my 20% discount to use on a bag!

I am surprised Cocosa are shutting down, I thought they were great.

Mignonette · 13/02/2014 14:39

Loads of people miss their FB emails- If you don't know where they are, they get missed.

I will keep linking on here because i enjoy the thread and feel a bit guilty if it appears I am excluding anybody although I know that was not the intention ever. We have pics of ourselves and kids on there you see.

I want to link the entire Anna Boutique site but worried that it'l look iffy or spammy. All I will say is that they have Gigi's, Acne gorgeousness, SeaNewYork and gorgeous stuff still at 70% off. Oh and these gorgeous maison scotch rosewood chinos.

I am enjoying discovering all kinds of regional stores now I have more time. There are some super gorgeous children's boutiques but as this thread is about us us us and we already devote enough of ourselves to kids and family life, I'm not going to post links.

libertychick · 13/02/2014 14:41

Grin at pseud. I know, feels a bit boring ATM! I think it's because no one is shopping much - combination of bored with winter clothes and weather to horrible to contemplate S/S.

My link for today - I want some sandals for hols in a few weeks - considering these in the zebra print and these in navy. Any and all recommendations for sandals gratefully received from regulars and lurkers alike - just not gigis they don't really do it for me.

I also give you this beauty. Shop linked it for me on pin. I have decided not to buy it even though it is totally gorgeous.

public services duties to the GB economy completed for today Smile

I love links for kids' clothes too, Mig.

M&S are good for sandals I think though maybe too early now. I am thinking of boots still. I've always liked 50-50s, talked myself out of them every year but considering them again. DD1's teacher wears them and always looks great. Bit worried the leather will stretch as they are so expensive. Almost a bag!

Mignonette · 13/02/2014 14:50

Why are you not buying that Liberty?

I have those Serrana gold on my to buy list too. They will be so flattering and surprisingly easy to coordinate. Gold always is.

I like &OtherStories sandals Liberty. I bought two pairs on sale last Summer in a Swedish Hasbeen style and they are incredibly well made.

These block heels are not for Summer but i love them and may buy them for my upcoming trip as need to be super pulled together.

These are more Summery.

Keep an eye on their site as the real sandals will be appearing soon.

libertychick · 13/02/2014 14:51

One of my friends has the 50-50's Decam. I have tried hers on a couple of times and they are so comfy. She has had them for a few months now and worn a lot and so far they haven't stretched. It's a bit too much for me for boots - she bought the brown ones as well as she loved the black so much!

I'd also like links to kids clothes! Link, Mig, link!!!

I will do later. Links upcoming. I have to go outside now Shock into the stormy maw but will be back with links galore.

Decameron · 13/02/2014 14:55

I've tried them on loads, should have bought them 3 years ago when they were marginally cheaper. My friend has them in wine suede. Gorgeous but I would destroy them.

Decameron · 13/02/2014 14:55

I probably won't get them and still be thinking about it next winter!

libertychick · 13/02/2014 14:56

I'm not buying it Mig because I have enough shirts for now and NEED some sandals and a few others things. I do love it though and came very close Smile It's like a temptation game, if it's still there after a few more days I might decide that it means the fashions gods want me to have it.

I love the other stories sandals you bought last year and am kicking myself I didn't get them at the time. This is a bad time of year to buy sandals, probably mid March there will be more choice. Dashing out now so will look at your links later. Thx.

Turquoise, did you say you have them and they stretched?

BrandyAlexander · 13/02/2014 15:03

Afternoon all!

I need a black jacket. Short waisted. I couldn't find the Zara one that I wear a lot this morning so ended up leaving the house with something I am not happy with. :(

Love the pictures Marsha

Blair et al, no need to apologisse at all and our apologies to you, if it looks like we are not being inclusive. There are lots of people who lurk on this thread. Some are lovely but it become very apparent last month that others are not so lovely (including those who are very proficient with excel spreadsheets or advance search), and it was a timely reminder to be circumspect about sharing personal info - both on here and off board.

Now, back to the black jacket (although I am on a bit of a spending break). And work of course! Wink

Drywhiteplease · 13/02/2014 15:17

I have not noticed a lack of links, and they certainly aren't all in Pin. It's just the boring end of sales/inappropriate summer stuff period in fashion.
I have a huge wish list for March.
Today a lady came to work with a dress so lovely I just nearly ripped it off her had to ask where it was from. The perfect dress for my job (fitted, thick jersey, pockets, above the knee, 3/4 sleeves and, my fav.....an exposed zip) in a colour I've been searching for for ages, a burgundy/claret/ blackberry kind of dark purple. Fromm Gap a few years ago WHY?WHY?WHY?...... Off to look on Ebay.

SecretSquirrel13 · 13/02/2014 15:21

Was just going to suggest eBay dry.
Mig I cannot recommend Anna highly enough their customer service is amazing- I ordered in the sale 5 items which were sourced from 3 if their stores, each were sent special delivery and arrived next day, emails from order to packing to despatch. Then when I returned 2 had an email and a refund almost instantly.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/02/2014 15:27

I am at gold membership at the moment too decam and also only buy in sales or with their excellent discount codes (40% sale preview or £100 off £300 spend). It would be so good if you could try the Burberry before you buy (was it them that had the dark blue or just grey?) although have you decided against that now you want the Gucci?

novice careful or I'll be apologising for apologising! Wink

I think I'm going to have to buy these Miu Miu rip offs - love cheap sunglasses (cheapskate!)

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/02/2014 15:30

Ooh just to add I read a bit more about the my-w dressing room... If you order things before midday you can get them delivered that evening! And they will pick them up by courier if you want to return them.

But, items under £500 only :(

Annianni · 13/02/2014 15:32

Thanks Decam I've pinned two maybelline ones to look for.

There's some gorgeous shoes on Anna's site Mig. I could spend a fortune quite easily.

Dhl man has just been to collect the Nixon watch WHICH IS STILL BLOODY BEEPING!!!!!!!!!
The alarm has been going off for almost 24 hours. And it's put me right off asking for an exchange.

I warned the dhl man about the beeping package, and actually showed him the watch.
He said they've just had extra security training, to look out for dodgy packages.

What's the betting that package never reaches The Outnet and is blown up instead? :o

Drywhiteplease · 13/02/2014 15:42

Dress was almost identical to this one also sold out Sad but am on phone to HoF Oxford St right now

Decameron · 13/02/2014 16:08

Hope they find the dress for you, Dry.

That's funny about the beeping watch, Anni!

My-W don't have the hobo bag in blue, Blair unfortunately but I saw it in Burberry and it is lovely. Not a navy blue though which I would really like so think I will go for the navy Disco. I have my eye on this bag instead of the grey now, which I think is a nicer colour. Yes, I have been thinking about it a lot deeply shallow !

Drywhiteplease · 13/02/2014 16:28

No luck....never mind. Will check in town on D Day ......Currently pinning summer clothes ideas, Marsha and Because have got me feeling in the holiday mood.
this dress would look great in Greece with my orange Gigis.....
this is nice too....reminds me of the Outnet Shop found for me the other day.

SecretSquirrel13 · 13/02/2014 16:53

Has anyone else had an AR email this afternoon?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/02/2014 17:01

Not shallow decam or if you are then I must also be! That damson is a gorgeous colour. Actually I think you're being very practical getting 2 bags, one small and one tote - sensible rather than shallow Wink

Not had any AR email no Secret.

shopafrolic · 13/02/2014 17:05

Yes Secret I have

shopafrolic · 13/02/2014 17:06

Not convinced it will tempt me back TBH.

SecretSquirrel13 · 13/02/2014 17:09

Shop I think I may use it for low cost item.
Blair it is a sorry email with a sweetener to tempt me back.
