Have a great time dry!

mig brrr. Rather you than me.

Hope you had a great time with DH today marsha.

Oh, yes forgot that barbie is our resident beauty expert. And otherwise I will have to leave the comfort and safety of MNV and start my own thread. Shock

Your evening sounds relaxing one

Once DS is in bed I hope to do the same: tv and Wine

LinusDKD · 25/01/2014 18:43

Oh and novice I hate it when people leave their home not or barely cleaned. Happy to hear you love your new house!

Drywhiteplease · 25/01/2014 18:54

Linus the problem is, "clean" means different things to different people......I'm manic and always want to clean "my way" however a house is left. It is a pain though Novice

Right, I was planning to drive tonight, but I've been offered a lift, so, sod it it's nearly the end of the month, and would be a shame to pass on such wonderful champagne Grin still not spending though

Anyone fancy betting about Dry coming home drunk later... Coming on here to say she loves everyone... Then spending £££ on online shopping at 3am?
:o

Annianni · 25/01/2014 19:00

Hope you have a fab time Dry Wink

I will never be warm again....Sad That is a face blue with cold BTW.

Have a great night Dry.

BrandyAlexander · 25/01/2014 19:20

That's a dead cert Anni! Look forward to seeing outcome of Dry's drunk shopping!

Ugh, the people we bought from were minging. It took my cleaner 5 hours in 2 sessions to scrub the oven clean. The whole house was just filthy. Dh says I am a nutter about cleaning and the movers said they have never moved anyone with as much cleaning stuff (or handbags!) as me so I know I am a clean freak but everyone who saw the oven said it was just disgusting.Shock

My nieces are here. Dsis has op this week so I have been spoiling them this afternoon in between cleaning.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 25/01/2014 20:19

Shock novice that's just rude, it's one thing to not clean to a certain standard when you move out of a house but the oven sounds like something else! Glad you love the actual house though.

And hope the op goes well for your sis.

dry hope you're having fun.

decam noticed your colour diagnosis on Pin, you were right! Hope you enjoyed the session.

Having a quiet and lazy weekend here, got a few busy ones coming up. Settling in with Wine and the voice atm.

Decameron · 25/01/2014 20:48

Hi all, just quickly skimmed, I am a summer and the pinks, reds and blues I already wore and like are good for me. However the chestnut pistols are going to go along with a few other things. That kind of colour is worse on me than black. I enjoyed it, it gave me some ideas of colours to go with (and which furniture I want to buy!) and what to avoid.

Will read back tomorrow as just about to have wine with DH.

Ugh, that oven sounds gross, Novice.

Have fun, Dry!

MarshaBrady · 26/01/2014 07:59

Decam sounds lovely and I can just imagine you as a summer. Shame about the chestnut pistols. I realised the other day I can't really do them anymore. Make my feet too big and not as comfy for long walks as the petty.

Happy birthday little Shop.

Novice houses sounds fab, shame about the cleanliness.

Having a fab weekend with dh, thanks for good wishes! Am going to wear the Marant shirt today with indigo skinnies and Lanvin black suede wedges, well, when I get dressed.

MarshaBrady · 26/01/2014 08:00

Dry sounds like fun. Was it fab?

AmberNectarine · 26/01/2014 08:06

Morning all

No real fashion news here - I seem to have turned into a fitness fanatic - my only purchase this week has been a neon pink Nike sports bra. Am running 4-5x per week and really enjoying it.

Having my HoC style day next Sat though, so I'm pretty sure that will prompt some spending!

Great diagnosis decam, I love the summer colours.

novice that's grim - my DB and DSIL had a similar situation - the placed hadn't been cleaned for years. Urgh. At least you're in though!

dry, hope your head is ok? I was disturbed to find the bottle of fizz in the fridge was flat last night as I hadn't had a drink for a week (not quite a month but impressive by my standards!)

Happy birthday to MrBrady, hope you both have a lovely day!

Drywhiteplease · 26/01/2014 09:55

Oh ye of little faith!!!! 2 glasses of fizz and no late night shopping! how boring .....city shopping this afternoon, I may crack then Hmm.

Hello HMum I know you're lurking!Wink

Shop hope today goes well.

Umlauf and anyone else who is looking have pinned something for you.

Just having a flick through You mag and a little bit Shock Hmm at the proliferation of bomber jackets. Not a look I can see myself rocking this year, at least not without looking completely ridiculous anyway. I did that look as a teenager and I haven't been a teenager for 25 years

MarshaBrady · 26/01/2014 10:32

Darn. Umlauf or anyone are you US7?

Drywhiteplease · 26/01/2014 10:32

Am cross...the You mag was missing today. Have seen style.
Grumpy I'm by no means an edgy dresser. Last year I bought a stone biker which is softer than black, Shop has a lovely one in brown. I think it's a look you can adapt to suit your personal style .

Biker jackets are fine Dry - it's the preppy bomber jackets I can't imagine wearing (not past the age of 20, anyway). I just think of 'Grease'

Mignonette · 26/01/2014 11:00

Morning - the trouble with bomber jackets is the way they tend to 'inflate' in a breeze. Definitely a look for the very tall, slim shouldered and lean.

I pinned some pins from a street style and fashion show blog called 21eme. They are lovely- a few too many dilettante women and men who look like they've run through Selfridges designer collections covered in velcro - label mania- but I like how the photos have enough clarity to show textures and detail. There's a lovely one of some arm jewellery detail here and Leigh Lezark doing what she does best here. I do love a purple and camel together.

BecauseIsaidS0 · 26/01/2014 11:11

Morning ladies,

I can't do the bomber jacket look, I'm way too short. I have a lovely biker jacket from All Saints that I can only wear when I'm thin. At the moment I'm wearing everything below the bum Sad.

Yesterday I bought sunglasses for Bali! Here they are.

And a great summer hat from Amazon

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 26/01/2014 12:25

Morning!

Love those sunglasses Because, very tropical.

Happy birthday to Shop DS and Marsha DH (or is that not today?) hope you both have lovely days.

I want to at least try a bomber jacket I think, never worn one before. Although am definitely not tall, especially thin or small shouldered! We shall see.

Waves to mignonette (i am a recent delurker) - I love seeing your pins.

Annianni · 26/01/2014 12:40

Happy birthday to Master Shop Cake

LinusDKD · 26/01/2014 13:51
