Good evening all,I've been trying to catch up!but I forgot how fast our thread moves!

novice big hugs,I know someone going through the same thing ATM ,and its so difficult,I pray things go well for your dsis, and that she does not need further treatments.

anni I alter my jeans too,the length, and sometimes around the waist.

dry Im like you, I don't think I would like the idea of being told what to wear, and be restricted color/cut/ style wise,I've been around many "stylists" and I find them to be completely clueless when it comes to styling.,and just paste and copy other looks. I think if you are someone who is into fashion and love clothes, you can figure out what sort of style suits you,

decam gorgeous bags,dh never understood handbags too,but I managed to change his mind,Wink.

shop I'm not that into trainers, but I really like the olive ones

one I hope you are ok,it's very scary, and I would have reported it to the police too.

Its very interesting, reading all your posts on AR thread,I never shopped with them before, and Dont think I will,it Made me realise the importance of sticking with more established online retailers who actually have good CS.

We are going to see wolf of Wall Street tomorrow evening, finally managed to get tickets, can't wait!

And my dear friend bought me the R&B jeans among other things Blush, I ended up buying a second pair of jeans by C&E and this gorgeous jacket that I've been lusting after for awhile, tried them on in selfridges, and the 0 was good on me,baggy but in a nice way,I ended up saving nearly £300for the jeans and jacket! Shock

I'm ok thanks blair just had enough today. I don't mind helping anyone who is in genuine need but this guy was, as called by the policewomen, a professional beggar. if he'd just asked once and then gone away when I said no, I would have left it alone but he just wouldn't leave me alone and I just refuse to bend and be a doormat for anyone anymore. it's no wonder that people who are desperate and genuinely need help get ignored if people are always being harassed by these professional beggars

Oh one that sounds scary, hope you aren't too shaken. It's horrible when things like that happen. Recently a few of us had a woman chase us up the road to my sister's flat, we couldn't leave until the police came and they also said she was "known" (she was on something). very scary so I hope you are OK. The policemen sound very nice though!

Wow this thread is nearly full!

Oh novice , I'm so sorry you've had bad news. I hope your Dsis is getting the best of care Thanks for you both.

Well, I just got back from giving a statement to the transport police. I was minding my own business in the train station and, not even kidding, I was asked for, sworn at and generally harassed by a guy wanting money, FOUR TIMES in the space of 25 minutes. I reported him because he was really scaring me and I felt so vulnerable and intimidated. I had a drs appointment so went to the station after that as it was round the corner to give a statement and got a ride home in their van, they even put the blue lights on for me to light the path to the gates into our flats when they dropped me off. They said the guy who was hassling me is known to them and they are hoping they will be able to get a conviction and penalty this time as they said most people just give in, give him money and then never make an official complaint. i am taking a zero tolerance stance on being bullied and generally treated like crap these days!

Anni, so I kept the Proenza Schouler PS13 which I totally loved, the red Pashli which I feel guilty for keeping as I liked rather than loved and the PS1 suede tote which I loved but am scared of. Dh was temporarily doing his nut because put down deposits for 3 holidays plus flights and credit card bill was huge five figuresShock. I was thinking of returning the red Pashli to ease some guilt but then he seemed to get less cross when the house sold and paid the bill without another word!

Dry, oh good!Wink

It's ages since I've been to Leeds!

Put the jeans on inside out, then pin the outside leg seam... Carefully turn them back the right way round... And slowly try them on.

If they look better, get the machine out... If not, just remove the pins.

If you can grab a handful of fabric (at the knee) when you wear them normally, then they're too big.

Thank you Thanks I am fine, but more worried by dsis and dm as neither (especially dm) are handling it well.

Have just lit candles, got music going and now have to plough through a 40 page report to prepare to make apparently "insightful" comments to the media next week. I need fashion chat to distract me!

Dry we need to go shopping together for trousers / jeans once you've got your Gucci - I reckon we'll get you down at least two sizes.
