Evening all....good god, it's finally the end of the longest week in the history of long weeks.
Shop I can't answer the alcohol/clothing question, suffice to say that my alcohol is paid for out of the joint account so it doesn't count! One more month to go....I'm going to go to h Nics during half term for my bag.
So sorry about swimming Sad perhaps a break is what's called for.

Can someone tell me why I thought it was a good idea to invite 11 friends tomorrow for a BBQ ? I know it's in the shed but you still have to plod down the garden, currently a complete bog, to get in it!!! Why? Why?

Novice you're an ace seller! Love the guide to neighbours idea.

novice congratulations on the house sale!

shop (((hugs))) I think you're right and a break from swimming is needed. Maybe he'll realise that missing swimming lessons is no fun and start cooperating a bit more.

one well done. I admire you so much!

dry your parties always sound like a lot of fun.

Already in my pj's (Lufthansa First Class Grin ), face washed and moisturised, contact lenses out and glasses on, glass of Wine in hand.

Rock and Roll, people. Rock and Roll!

Drywhiteplease · 31/01/2014 18:48

Evening!

Just read Ruby's AR thread and remembered I have been having problems too, with their website,it won't let me log in - email and password is correct, but just returns me to the login page after I try. Cleared cookies and everything.
It'll be a shame if they go under as they've only been around a couple of years.

Dry sounds bonkers but fun, is the weather meant to be ok? Tell everyone the dress code is wellies!

linus love being already ready for bed so you can just go up when you want and only have to brush teeth! Especially on a Friday :)

novice great news about the house, now you can relax.

BecauseIsaidS0 · 31/01/2014 18:57

Evening! (thanks for the Wine)

I'm in a pair of All Saints boyfriend jeans and an old ASOS sweater, waiting for DH to come home so we can have dinner and plonk ourselves in front of the Alias boxset.

Speaking of All Saints...did anyone read the Evening Standard piece on the fashion designers who let their kid wedge herself inside an installation at the Tate?

Drywhiteplease · 31/01/2014 19:18

Blair the invitation said "Wellies and woollies"... Forecast is rain but it will get lovely and hot in the shed and we have plenty of booze, good food to cook on the fire, blankets, cosy cushions and un identifiable animal skins to sit on.....

Am in pjs too, with Wine in hand. We were going to watch wolf of wall st at the cinema but the posh independent cinemas near us are sold out and we are too spoilt now to go to the local odeon (which costs the same anyway so feels like a rip off with its horrible hard seats and no one to bring you wine and chocolates Smile). Takeaway it is! Need something to watch, we finished Breaking Bad on Sunday and feel bereft!

RubyLovesShopping · 31/01/2014 19:31

Sleep we're on series 4, feels like we've been watching it for ages. Wine and chocs at the cinema? Sounds fab.
Dry shed parties chez vous sound great.
Thank you all for replying on my thread, even more annoying that so many people are affected.
Novice good news about the house, hope your dsis recovering well.
Have decided am definitely going to try to have a no spend month, will be away for half of it and not anywhere good for shopping which will help.

Drywhiteplease · 31/01/2014 19:34

Ruby if I can do it anyone can!

It's the 'dry' month I would struggle with more!

Turquoiseblue · 31/01/2014 19:37

Evening all. Lovely outfit descriptions earlier. Am almost ready for the sofa and wine too! So tired today.

Love the swimming outfits Grin shop why not take the pressure off and just go swimming you and DS, do the stuff you remember from the class, and try again in a term or so - 6 months makes a huge difference to how kids cope and behave with things. I stopped a toddler grepu with DS when he was smaller- he s a really lovely gentle, yet adventurous and 6 year old now .... Not behavioural issues .... That I had convinced myself he must have had because I couldn't cope with him in a group setting !

Sleepwhenidie · 31/01/2014 19:38

Hey, Dry I did it too . Even have some stuff on eBay and lovely Liberty is taking my Whistles voucher off my hands, I need a halo!

Trying February too now...

When not if the financial blockage eases up around here I may well be in the market for that Balenciaga City Smile

carrie74 · 31/01/2014 19:40

Evening all.

novice congratulations!! I've always done massive handover notes for house moves too, but have yet to receive any. The best was when we came to our present house the day before moving, car packed with cleaning stuff to find they'd done a better job of cleaning than we could have done. Instead we introduced ourselves to the neighbours, who gave us the lowdown on doctors, dentists, waxing etc. it was great!

I need MNV help please. I visited local designer "emporium", which has an LK Bennett! including a tan Annina £100 off. I've been eyeing up the Anna/Anninas since they came out, and the price is very good, but I've never had an LKB bag before. Does anyone have the Annina? How's it held up? Would you recommend? I also popped into the Shepton Mallet Mulberry factory shop and was horrified by the prices: don't think I saw anything below £450, and I didn't think much to the recent styles. There was a whole range with impressions of buckles on the bags. WTF? Looked horrible and v cheapy.

RubyLovesShopping · 31/01/2014 20:03

Carrie I like the shape and the straps of the anna / annina try purse forum too am sure they have info on them there from memory.

RubyLovesShopping · 31/01/2014 20:04

But to answer your question I haven't had one so not v helpful reallySmile

BrandyAlexander · 31/01/2014 20:11

Thanks everyone! Dh sent me a very happy text from the ski slope :) I have been very good so far. I sent an email to my banker which started with "I really want to spend this on shoes and bags, however..." then sadly instructed the repayment of capital in the mortgage. When did I become sensible?! Hmm I still have 24 hours to have a blow out though Grin

Shop my love you poor thing. Sending you much love. Ds is in a real tantrum phase at the moment. It's not fun, but at least I get a break. Stop the swimming for a while is the kindest thing for both of you. {{{hugs}}}

Blair, I have an LKB bag that I have had for many years that has survived all my bag culls. I always wonder whether quality of things in the shops is as good as it used to be so don't think I can say go for it!

one you are such a star!

sleep sounds like a great night in! We had the latest bit of our home system installed today. I now have music in more rooms including our bedroom and bathroom Grin

AmberNectarine · 31/01/2014 20:25

carrie I have an Annina. A gold one. Bought at full price back when I was pregnant with DD, c.3 years ago. Hasn't been used a vast amount but I do like it a lot and it is in excellent condition.

carrie74 · 31/01/2014 20:27

Thanks All. I think I have to have it. Will be waiting at the gates at 9:30am.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 31/01/2014 20:28

Oh that sounds lovely Dry! Hope you have fun, are you going to do the pulled pork?

sleep we have a lovely small chain cinema locally (Everyman) and I can't go anywhere else now either! And we watched the whole of breaking bad s1 last weekend, only 7 episodes. Waiting for Love Film to send the next.

novice twas Carrie not me asking about LKB :) music in the bathroom sounds amazing btw!

I have an evening to myself tonight before out tomorrow night, time for some browsing and pinning!!

LinusDKD · 31/01/2014 20:37

carrie that's a lovely bag, go for it!

novice music in the bathroom sounds bliss.
