Good news umlauf- I feel another call to them is imminent.

Decameron · 31/01/2014 13:11

I've just scanned in my proof of postage and emailed Atterley Rd again, got a reply back to say their mailbox is full and they can't accept new messages. Bloody useless company.

BrandyAlexander · 31/01/2014 13:57

Afternoon all! Working from home today. although truth be told, I haven't done much work Blush. I am wearing a green super dry tee with my GAP Always Skinny jeans (you know me, never pay much for jeans!) and over it, my T by Alexander Wang sweater hoodie. Oh and my slipper boots.

Still waiting for our house sale to complete, but have handed all the keys over and did a 2 page note for the new owners on guide to the house and guide to the neighbours etc, so hopefully the appreciate it!

LinusDKD · 31/01/2014 14:30

Ah but have you cleaned out your oven novice? Wink

That is a great picture of Willow Smith but I have always felt a bit uncomfortable with how 'grown-up' her style has been for someone so young.

umlauf good news about AR! I am glad you are keeping the shorts because you look great in them.

How did the swimming go today shop?

I missed the DHL man today with my C&P dress Sad
It must be a different guy because my usual DHL delivery guy knows when I am likely to be home Blush

BrandyAlexander · 31/01/2014 14:37

We've completed! we've completed! Wine Wine

Linus, after the disgusting oven we found here, I think between myself, cleaner and nanny it's been a matter of pride to leave them with a sparkling house including a sparkling oven!

Now, do I go off and spend the money before dh gets home? Grin

Umlauf · 31/01/2014 14:40

Congratulations novice Wine

Thank you linus I keep planning to wear them and forgetting the fly is permanently undone!

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 31/01/2014 14:46

DD2 is obsessed with Will Smith (and his family). I agree, Willow is beautiful but I'm completely with you Linus - her style has been too grown up for some time. I walk the fine line with my own DD about what is funky and trendy without being too grown up. I tend towards more Scandi fashion with her, I love Copenhagen and take alot of inspiration from what I see in the street there. The kids are so cool but never precocious. ATM DD2's fave T-shirt is a long sleeve V Neck by Little Eleven Paris with Kate Moss in a moustache on the front and it does look cool with grey skinnies, a funky yellow&grey geometric scarf and leopard Guess Hi-tops. ten-year olds - it's a constant battle to agree on outfits.

RubyLovesShopping · 31/01/2014 14:50

Decam let me know if you have any luck, have done the same re A R.
Novice - a guide to the neighbours? Love it!
It's snowing on the hills here, bracing myself for the school run duvet coat at the ready.

RubyLovesShopping · 31/01/2014 14:56

Have started a thread about AR I am so fed up of it, then I'm hoping somebody can twitter it to them (I have no clue how).

BrandyAlexander · 31/01/2014 15:07

Ruby, it's not that long, just the names of their neighbours 2 houses either side of them and across the road as well. Plus the ages of the children. Oh and name of the postman, newsagent and dry cleaner! Plus contact details for the gardener and window cleaner. Just those things that take you ages to find out and you feel a total outsider because you don't know. I also told them the names of the delivery drivers. Ahem. They might think I am a loon at that Grin

OneLittleLady · 31/01/2014 15:11

Uni application almost done, have sent out e-mail inquiries for some short courses I want to do before September, singing and guitar lessons booked, preparing for Grade One Singing exam, just got given a bass to learn, violin sounding better every week, self referral to adult care team done to get some equipment to make my day to day life easier. It's a wonder I have time to be on here Grin

Lookin' super fly today in black slim fit bootcut jeans and a Marvel comics print long sleeved tee Grin

Sleepwhenidie · 31/01/2014 15:54

Love the guide to the neighbours idea Novice Smile congratulations on completing would DH notice just a little Birkin to celebrate? Grin

One, you should be so proud, doing all that is impressive in itself, never mind with the pain you are in Flowers

OneLittleLady · 31/01/2014 15:56

Thanks Sleep the pain is constant and unrelenting but I refuse to lay down and let it beat me. I will fight to the bitter end, one's new positive attitude does not accept defeat Grin

shopafrolic · 31/01/2014 16:27

Marsha way to make my swimming outfit sound even worse you glamazon you!
novice congrats
linus I can't talk about swimming. I'm too pissed off. I feel as though I'm fighting a losing battle. One last try next week and if not, we'll quit. I can't take the pressure. :(
Sleep I've been reading your book recommendation and have stated with the descriptive praise. It makes a lot of sense so Thanks. Fingers crossed.
Off to get eyebrows waxed in a moment, the only maintenance I'll have time to do before the party on Sunday. My hair is a mess. Next Saturday can't come soon enough!
Off to look at willow and the AR thread

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 31/01/2014 16:39

Bravo one keep up the good work.

Very thoughtful of you Novice even though they will probably think you're completely nuts! Delivery men?!

libertychick · 31/01/2014 16:41

Good news Novice you sound like the perfect person to buy from!

Flowers Shop hang in there. Maybe a break from swimming is what you need.

I'll post on the AR thread too - still waiting for my refund too.

One I'm loving all the positivity - well done you.

Todays outfit, black pleated front Boden ponte skirt, black silky French Connection T, black opaques, black loafers, Navy tweed effect Whistles zip front cardi. Black and silver jewellery, hair all curly - trying to reclaim my original mane!

MarshaBrady · 31/01/2014 16:41

Ha Shop no glamour I promise. Anyway I just realised you only see us when your hair is ace. Good one! Not me, I'm not sure I have the time to get it done this week. You'll all have to excuse it.

Mig love that look very much.

AR hmm sounds like a bad patch. Not good.

Decameron · 31/01/2014 16:48

Ruby, I just got my two refunds from AR after sending them another tetchy email. Will still avoid for a while, three weeks is too long.

Shop, sorry swimming was stressful.

That book sounds really good. Would someone mind linking to it again?

I haven't bought anything this week, gosh that sounds pathetic!! Seeing how I do on eBay and waiting for my birthday in mid Feb.

Congrats Novice!

shopafrolic · 31/01/2014 16:49

Damn Marsha you sussed me! Yup,you guys are the only ones who've never seen my roots! (Apart from when you and I met at Libertys).
I saw my DHL man yesterday in a completely different town and he recognised me! :)

shopafrolic · 31/01/2014 16:51

I linked it on here yesterday Decam. Am out at the moment waiting for new eyebrows.

libertychick · 31/01/2014 16:56
