Hello! I have eaten my weight in rubbish today which is a pity as I had actually lost 2.5kgs :( I hate client lunches for this reason!

My jewelry boxes are all next to each other (though I have one more to find) and it's great, I wore a blue and silver necklace and bracelet from Accessorise that's about 10 years old and complimented my forest green me&em dress and aqua talia brown boots. Proper variety in my outfit!

We are going out for dinner with the neighbours this weekend. What does one wear? I am thinking sparkly cardigan, top and trousers with shoe boots?

Shop, it's this one. I originally bought the navy one but loved it so much and the price that I bought it in the other 2 colours (aubergine and forest green). I just didn't 'fess up on here! They are perfect for me as they are dresses, stylish, lovely silhouette and importantly warmGrin

Which one did you buy?

The Me&Em dress will look great on you Shop. Funny you say you never wear skirts as I am opposite and have been thinking I may stop bothering with trousers and just stick with dresses/skirts for work!

linus in that case hope dh wasn't spinning me a tale and I actually have a fake from the market! Am not surprised about the attitude of the sales assistants having experienced similar attitudes in other stores in Paris & like you deliberately left empty handed but at hermes they have always been lovely. I like the enamel bangles too, especially the extra-wide 'h' ones.

umlauf I agree with your dh, it does seem crazy. Apparently Vuitton used to be like that years ago too but since they got bought out by lvmh decided to go for selling quantity and making it more affordable. The counter argument to this though is that the exclusive aura of hermes does have appeal whereas Vuitton today could be seen as a cash cow? Interestingly hermes is still privately owned but lvmh is seeminly trying to buy out the minority shareholders with the aim of an eventual hostile take over so it may go the same way.
