Oh my gosh, those shoes are devine

I have spent three hours sorting out my closet. 23 pieces unworn and still tagged I have realised I have nothing decent for summer bar a few DVF dresses so will be looking for inspiration...

I wore the oversize grey c&p jumper yesterday, took a little getting used too having so much extra fabric but it was so snug and warm. It afforded me to go without a coat.
I wore it with TS skinny blue baxters, American apparel t, flat brown knee high boots and my Chloe paraty bag.
Hair in messy bun and a slick of baby pink lipstick and minimal makeup. It felt good.

Today I wore the c&p star jumper. Very slimming along with skinny black jeans and black riding boots.

I have to invest in new trousers. I'm stuck rotating cheap jeans (although excellent fit)

Still not sure what to do with the IM houndstooth trousers. Very flattering on hips and thighs but I'm not used to a more 'relaxed' fit trouser.

Dp is in the process of making me a gluten free cake, it seems very complicated so I'm leaving him to it!

Barbie I love your wardrobe upgrade. Sounds brilliant. Still say get the IM altered, they are fab but with you on not being comfortable with the more relaxed fit.

I've just been to the cinema with Ds1 and friend.
I was only out for 2 hours, but had texts on my phone from dh asking if I'd be home soon... (wuss!!!)

Dry and Marsha I am also having a wardrobe ponder ATM. Trying to find time to do a sort out and try and work out what I really need. I find I keep gravitating towards the same things - stripy jumpers mostly! I'd love to book a stylist like the one Shop had but don't think I could justify the expense.

Love your new babies sleep, I was a bit [hmmm] when I first saw rock studs, but they have really grown on me which means I ll probably want a pair once they re sold out everywhere, last to the trend as always

Have spent the morning spring cleaning- downstairs finished now bar the conservatory, which i m not tackling until the weather gets better as we re using it more, starting on upstairs, making a list of what we need to get/ do in the house as I go along. Dc are at panto with cousins.
Playroom clean out felt positively cathartic.

Evening Ladies. Quiet on here today, I hope that means you've all been off doing something lovely.

Had quite a nice day here - lazy morning followed by a pub lunch with a friend and her DD. Slobbing in front of a lovely fire now, listening to the rain outside. It's a nice antidote to my usual day.

And Sherlock will be on in an hour!

I'm waiting for my gluten free, lemon drizzle cake to be finished! it's made with.....POTATOES!! I'm not even joking

Quiet day here. Just a quick trip to waitrose nearly finished me off. We spent tea time looking through old photos and seeing all the dc as babies I want another!

liberty I've had a quick look at your thread and I'm about to post on there. Being banned from shopping is really making me think about what I really want. Because I will have to justify any purchases to dh I have to make sure that I really want something if that makes sense. His new motto is 'making do' I have to resist the urge to tell him he sounds like a bloody 50s housewife but it has actually made me think about what I need to add something new to my wardrobe and what actually would be something very similar and therefore I could make do with what I have. All very dull I know but needs must at the moment.

Anyway just for you lib here's more stripes. Talking of gap, I think I mentioned upthread that Rebekah someone from cos has taken over. There's something about her in the ST style and she talks about the jeans so I'm looking forward to seeing what's she's done with them.

How lovely they are unlike the chloe is what that should say

grumpy I had a look on the Longchamp France and Belgium websites (no e-shop in Switzerland, of course) and the bag is sold out there as well.

I might go to town this week so I can go to the Longchamp shop and see if they have it in store. Which colour would you prefer?

DH has left and won't be back until Saturday lunchtime. I am used to him traveling but this is just too long.
