A safe place to talk fashion stuff. Bring a passion for fashion (high end or high street), a positive state of mind and lots of links.

AmberNectarine · 10/01/2014 08:44

sleep any chance you fancy trading lives for the day?

Sleepwhenidie · 10/01/2014 08:45

average daytime outfit for Amy Adams in AH...this also requires a bit of an adjustment from multiple viewings of 'Enchanted' Grin

BrandyAlexander · 10/01/2014 08:45

Morning everyone! Working from home today. Don't think I have really got into 2014 working yet!

I think I might just send the cobalt Pashli back! Need to put some money on dh's credit cards before he does his weekly check of his statement and has a heart attack. There were was another thread asking how much people have spent in the sales. I did a quick calculation and think its about £5k.Shock I am of course making this all up

Sleepwhenidie · 10/01/2014 08:46

What's it worth? A nice handbag perhaps?....oh sorry, wrong thread Grin!!

BrandyAlexander · 10/01/2014 08:47

Lovely day Sleep! How old will you be? Naughty question but you look young and we're friends!

LinusDKD · 10/01/2014 08:48

Ha barbie DH got a new tv this week as well and it has got all this strange 'waving your hands about and grabbing thingies' technology.

And a new surround sound system as well with 4 tall speakers (which will be knocked over on a daily basis by DS and DD)

He is in heaven...

I dropped DC off at nursery, then came home to let the man in who came to do something to make our internet go faster, now off to the supermarket.

Afternoon will be spent tidying up the house in time for the DC to come home and start making it a mess again!

Sleepwhenidie · 10/01/2014 08:52

41 Novice...got told yesterday in kickboxing that I am 'super-fit for 41' Hmm...why can't people just stop talking after 'fit'?! (It was meant in the true sense of the word btw, kickboxing sessions are far from my finest moments in terms of looking attractive Grin)

Linus - I am so impressed with your tech-savviness Grin!

Barbie1 · 10/01/2014 08:53

novice you don't really have to send the bag back do you Sad

Dh is currently talking to the tv and doing some strange sign language Hmm

Sleepwhenidie · 10/01/2014 08:54

LinusDKD · 10/01/2014 09:02

I am just watching Lorraine on our new tv (thanks sleep I didn't want to baffle you all with the proper techie speak) and my oh my hasn't Leonardo Di Caprio grown into a fine specimen of a man.

I never really fancied him when he (and I) was younger but he looks very handsome with his beard and mature face.

novice will pm you back!

NUFC69 · 10/01/2014 09:11

Sleep, I loved Enchanted - still have it on my Skyplus to watch occasionally when I am feeling miserable. Loved her outfit in that photo, but you really wouldn't want to see me in something like that - well, perhaps DH might.

Quiet day: ironing to do, and then I am going to try to persuade my DD, who is on maternity leave, to come out shopping with me. However, as she was up four times in the night with DGD, she might want to stay at home. It's very cold up here in the NE, although a bright sunny day and DH is going out with his cycling buddies (the Grandads Wheelers!), so if I don't go out with DD, it'll be a peaceful day.

shopafrolic · 10/01/2014 09:32

Morning all.
My interesting fact of the day - apparently Leo is known to have the largest cock in show business. yes I have a child and said the word cock Blush
Sleep what a gorgeous outfit for a sunny, chilly day - have a wonderful time. Which Elemis facial are you going for? Thanks for the report back on the movie - I'll wait for the DVD Grin
Barbie kudos to you for that fab pic - you should be a blogger!
Novice always here to take anything off your hands :) I'd be a nightmare with a suede bag - in fact, if I was commuting I'd be even more disastrous.
We're back to swimming classes today. Not sure how my back will handle the constant manoeuvring of DS but we'll have to see - he's very excited (I'm not looking forward to getting my kit off! Too cold and I'm too flabby!) BTW it's not a naked class before anyone jokes!

Yes NUFC if I wore those dresses the effect would be somewhat less ahem..perky too Smile

Shop language Shock!

shopafrolic · 10/01/2014 09:49

Meant to say Sleep when I went to the physio this week she asked me how old I was and I'd forgotten!!! Obviously after turning 40 (combined with the excesses of my clubbing days) my memory is shot. I had to ask my DH when I got home Blush. I'll be 42 this year.
