A safe place to talk fashion stuff. Bring a passion for fashion (high end or high street), a positive state of mind and lots of links.

No idea Anni, but well done!

libertychick · 08/01/2014 17:26

Your jumper has been in my head all day Marsha, the scissors has been hovering a few times but I thought WWMD and decided best not Grin

BrandyAlexander · 08/01/2014 17:27

Amber, Simon Cowell didn't exactly look comfy in his suitGrin I realised I was mixing my years. I saw him in 2011. In 2012, Prince (as in the pop star) had the Cowell box. He wasn't that much taller than meGrin

MarshaBrady · 08/01/2014 17:28

Yes D(on't)DWM did. Grin

Annianni · 08/01/2014 17:29

I'd use a bodkin and poke them through to the other side Liberty.

libertychick · 08/01/2014 17:34

What's a bodkin???

Love it Marsha Grin

Mignonette · 08/01/2014 17:34

Hi all-

Amber You are clearly very jealous that assorted randoms are not offering you no strings attached Chanel bags Wink.

Clearly all that worship has addled her cognitive function to the point of being unable to make a simple decision about what colour bag without the collective intelligence of a bunch of strangers on t'internet.

Mignonette · 08/01/2014 17:35

Queen

Shock have just seen your post. did you think P.E?

Loads of Flowers for you.

Get well soon.

Annianni · 08/01/2014 17:39

Bodkin as in a fat blunt needle, usually used for sewing knitted items.

Is it called something else?

Mignonette · 08/01/2014 17:40

Lovely word Bodkin. Would make a great name for a dog.

OneLittleLady · 08/01/2014 17:41

Phase one of clothes sort is complete. I counted, 42, yes 42 skirts in total in my wardrobe Shock massive pile now waiting to be sent off! Drawers are up next, I am a bit fuzzy over what's actually in them to be honest Confused

QueenCadbury · 08/01/2014 17:43

mig, yes they were thinking PE as I'd taken the pill over Christmas (now stopped due to migraines) but scans and blood tests all negative. I'm feeling pretty washed out now so I'm thinking the viral diagnosis is correct.

MarshaBrady · 08/01/2014 17:43

Shop these look a bit sheen-y. I'd be happy with that.

Oblig funny face at the bottom.

OneLittleLady · 08/01/2014 17:49

poor you QueenC it must have been pretty frightening Sad plenty of Thanks for you

Mignonette · 08/01/2014 17:50

Christ Queen you really have been through the mill lately. What a scare.

Time to hunker down and be looked after.

carrie74 · 08/01/2014 17:53

Hello All, A PM from shop reminded me I'd not been on for a while.

Queen C, how scary! glad you're home and all ok xx

Novice gorgeous bag! fab colour!

dry, Ascot sounds fabulous!

Not many purchases to report (and everything on Pin), but loving my impulse Whistles buy in the sales: www.pinterest.com/pin/283023157806301962/

But even more so my All Saints boots (none online, but a couple of black and loads of brown in store): www.pinterest.com/pin/283023157806349578/. Super duper comfy, have worn them all day straight from box with no discomfort in the least (hurray!). I did order the Hudson Enckes, but they were too gapey at my ankle, and we're really uncomfortable. Plus I managed to suck out all their cool as soon as they touched my feet Grin.

I is a right jealous bitch, innit?

Seriously though, you can't reason with the unreasonable.

OneLittleLady · 08/01/2014 18:09

definitely just a mad jealous bitch Amber Wink

MarshaBrady · 08/01/2014 18:09

No idea Shop! but will be happy if they are similar.

Good one Carrie, lovely stuff.

Mignonette · 08/01/2014 18:10

Can't argue with stupid, you mad jealous old bugger you Amber Wink

But might have to come and lamp you if you recommend Bottega to any more Orange folk Wink.

Drywhiteplease · 08/01/2014 18:26

liberty I've spent the last half hour searching online for the pully thing....it's not a bodkin. I'll keep looking. It's a brilliant little tool. If I have to I'll take a picture.

Drywhiteplease · 08/01/2014 18:41

His is the tool. So you push it through the wrong side of the jumper with the little spiky bit facing down, the hooky bit catches the tread on the right side as it pushes through, and as you pull it back the spiky bit closes and grabs the thread through to the wrong side. Brilliant Smile
Because it's so tiny and fine you can poke it through the finest knit/wool crepe fabrics too......I've looked on j lewis website! will look in my local haberdashery shop when I'm next there. Can't remember where I bought it but I've had it for years.

The Chanel bags thread is quite gobsmacking Shock
