He is a giant, but I can't fathom how she is so impeccably put together and can't get him a decent suit in his correct size, it's so big!

shopafrolic · 02/01/2014 22:10

Marsha are you still looking for boots for the snow?

BrandyAlexander · 02/01/2014 22:22

GrinGrin at QueenC!

Poor you One, why are you in pain?

So I had another stroke of the PS13 while mentally telling dh to get lostWink what, the Pashlis arrive tomorrow.

So I tried on my stuff from John Lewis. Dh took one look at this dress which I thought I would get for work and said I looked like my dm. She's gorgeous but she's in her 70s, so that dress was straight back in the returns bag!Grin this Ted baker in nude pink is gorgeous. I have (according to Pinterest!) marked it down 4 months as something I liked so good to get it for half price.

Also tried on my me&em order which I had actually forgotten about so was a surprised when I opened the package and thought to myself when did I order that?. So this cowl necked dress is bloody fantastic! thank you AmberSmile. Whereas this dress, well I seriously cannot begin to tell you how bad I look in it! The model has no boobs. I am 28E. No, just no !

So I realised 3 things tonight. 1. I need more wardrobe space, I am beginning to have trouble closing the doorsBlush. I am going to have to do a major declutter again but I love all my clothes. 2. My children need more wardrobe space. Every single member of the family appears to have bought them clothes for Christmas as an extra present. They have quite large wardrobes already.Blush 3. I need to declutter dh's stuff else when we move and hope he doesn't notice or he will stake up space in "my" dressing room.

MarshaBrady · 02/01/2014 22:32

Thanks Shop. I think I'm going for the pretty dress / skirt first. Need to take it easy after our day today. We had a caffeine / champagne induced blowout. 'Twas fun but will give it a rest for a bit!

OneLittleLady · 02/01/2014 22:32

Novice I have a condition called CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) I don't want to go into a long drawn out post about it but basically, my nerves in my whole left arm and shoulder, right shoulder, neck and now my left leg constantly hurt with a severe burning type of pain. There's a lot of other symptoms as part of the condition as well. if you want to know more, I'd suggest looking it up to get a better idea about it.

How is your Dsis doing? Thanks for both you and your Dsis

Drywhiteplease · 02/01/2014 22:46

Oh brilliant QueenC I'd have loved to see the lift! quite impressive....sure your ILs appreciated that Grin

QueenCadbury · 02/01/2014 22:54

I've just done my best madonna impression with like a prayer.

And now, dh just asked me "are you asking your people what to sing" Grin

Decameron · 02/01/2014 22:55

Poor you, One, hope they can give you something to better manage the pain.

I have both those Me & Em dresses, Novice, I love Me & Em. Fantastic bag.

Hope your DD had a very happy birthday, Liberty.

That coat is beautiful, SilverSixpence.

Nice jeans, Dry, I had them in pale grey, tried to dye them a dark grey and they came out an odd dark green!

Sweaty Betty have good reductions, I got some tops today for £6.

Glad you had a good night, QueenC!

BrandyAlexander · 02/01/2014 22:55

Blimey One, just looked it up. Am now even more impressed you winged it down to London for the MU! All kudos to you for the very positive frame of mind you're inThanks

Dsis is "okay", lots of distractions today but tomorrow another test day. Poor dbil is still in shock and not coping v well.

Decameron · 02/01/2014 23:01

OneLittleLady · 02/01/2014 23:04

Thanks Novice it's a fight to get through the day a lot of the time but fight I will and do. Can't just give up and stay home crying all the time! Grin

it may sound silly but 'distractions' are good novice , I know from caring for mum when she was sick with cancer that it really helped her to have nice things to look forward to, whether that was being brought presents or just having people visit her. I can completely understand Dbil's reaction, I was the same when we got mum's diagnosis, it's a very tough thing to come to terms with someone you love being ill. I hope the tests bring positive news and that your sister kicks this horrible disease squarely in the nuts!

BrandyAlexander · 02/01/2014 23:10

QC, forget pain and cancer, it's much more fun to be following your night outGrinGrinGrin

DryGrin don't worry you and Shop will be the first to know when I do another jewelry declutter. But I did one in 2012, and for me, haven't bought 'much in 2013 as I more focused on repairing everything and then actually wearing what I had! I have lost my Gucci watch (for the 3rd time) which I am hoping turns up in the move. I don't want to have to secretly replace it without dh knowing and I am worried they don't do that style anymore so I will get caught outBlush

QueenCadbury · 02/01/2014 23:14

Ok, total eclipse of the heart done. Now back on white wine with green tea. Must be curdling lovely with all the baileys inside me Confused
