My son has just walked in with a box of ducklings ! Yellow fuzzy ducklings! They are for a friend with a farm and a gift. It was the most wondrous sight, all these little ducks peeping curiously over the edges of the box. . And the peeping noises.

Well....on my second lge glass of a very surprisingly nice Romanian Sauvignon blanc and DH hasn't even got home yet, yolo . I have put all my Christmas cards up and am feeling full of wine Christmas cheer! I am ready to brave the high winds down the M1 tomorrow but wish we still had the 4x4 .

mig I asked ds (6) if he'd like to be called Bear and he said no way! It may be cute for a baby but I can't imagine many older boys liking it.

Frozen was fab. You can't beat a bit of Disney .

Hopefully the weather will settle so my dp get down the m5 ok. I've just got to brave waitrose in the morning to pick up the turkey and last minute bits then I'm done!

Hehe....DH got home....no coronary, apparently our new car has the same sized boot as my old fav car spec not my forte
He also didn't notice the half full bottle of vino....or maybe just thought it was one we'd started on another day .......and just now , my MNV friends don't tell anyone because I have my reputation to uphold I got the glasses out of the dishwasher the dirty glasses he'd put away gave them a quick wipe with a piece of kitchen roll (don't like ketchup on my glass....I do have STANDARDS!! and emptied the bottle " it would be a waste to leave it in the fridge over Christmas "

Shop sorry, yes the wool has arrived. I have been in hiding bed for the two days with some kind of weird virus, aching all over and v v tired - slept for 15 hours yesterday. Still off form today but made it into work.

Haven't looked at links properly but well done on being such good sales early birds. I haven't looked yet.

Hello! I am finally done!!! All presents bought! So I decided to get this cashmere waterfall cardigan for dmil plus this stripey top both from white company. I am going to get the the white company cashmere robe for dsis but she's not back till the weekend so I will see if it goes on sale. I did also get dh a pair of Church shoes and a polo t-shirt. Those are the only clothes I am gifting this year. ignores the vast piles for the dcs

Dry, wishing you a safe journey down south in the morning! It's so stressful travelling for Xmas - we are not doing it as dh put his foot down. Phew!

The box of stuff I sent to Ireland last week still hasn't arrived - gifts for my sister and all my nieces and nephews . Nightmare - such a PITA if it's lost...
Ok bed now - feel another epic sleep coming on - thankfully DD is in synch with this, she has dropped her daytime nap and started sleeping until after 8am - bliss.
