Nigella must have a hidden ageing portrait in her attic

She looked amazing today & 20 years younger than her true age.

OP posts:

^Smoking a joint i.e. weed and/or cannabis is a habit that can start easily enough. Harder drugs are required as the body gets used to it.
Then a hard drug such as cocaine is required.
^

This is such rubbish as has just been stated, that I'm just going to have to state it again!

Anyway, I feel sorry for Nigella being dragged through all this. I am also in her camp.

And yes, he gives me the creeps.

JapaneseMargaret · 06/12/2013 01:30

And nobody's giving her sympathy for drug-taking per se.

They're just not heaping opprobrium on her, given the extenuating circumstance, i.e. odious ex, out to ruin her. I think that's a good thing, frankly.

valiumredhead · 06/12/2013 07:15

Ah ok, thanks for explaining entry level,I thought that's what you meant but you are very misinformed if that's what you believe.

GideonKipper · 06/12/2013 07:28

Agree Ananda - absolute rubbish.

So everyone starts with a few joints and then inevitably get used to that and move on to lines of coke every five minutes because they want the same mellow, relaxed feeling?

Have you even tried cocaine Ghetto?

GhettoPrincess001 · 06/12/2013 07:47

Not playing anymore. Gone to another thread.

ExcuseTypos · 06/12/2013 08:07

Can't believe someone said she looks like she's off to a funeral!

She's off to be questioned about any aspect of her life, and it will be reported to millions. Is she supposed to have a big grin on her face?

Naughty Nigella for looking so glumHmm

JoanRanger · 06/12/2013 08:30

I have no idea what this will do to Nigella's career but Trinny's must now be so carbonised that it's moved beyond toast.

varigatedivy · 06/12/2013 08:34

she's def had some help from injectibles and some of the photos of her during the 'storm' when it all broke really showed her age when she was make up free- she looked quite jowly and baggy eyed ( as we all would.)

And don't forget she'll have had a huge amount of help to get 'that look' for the court appearance- and I reckon she's timed her facials, fillers and everything else for the court appearance. A real pro whatever you think!

Mignonette · 06/12/2013 08:52

Nigella tends to wear a lot of black. The Sicilian widow look is very Dolce. And she has made no secret of her wish to have been born Italian.

BTW she's not off to a party. That is sombre court attire that shows respect for the court and judge.

burnishedsilver · 06/12/2013 09:03

I agree she looks amazing except she could have done without whatever they did to her top lip. It looks swollen. I hate lip fillers

Ubik1 · 06/12/2013 09:21

And let's remember: this is showbiz.

There is a live feed FGS.

Looks are important, whatever else is going on.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 06/12/2013 09:34

Don't really like being accused of being unsisterly when all I did was mention on a thread in style and beauty that someone may have had work done..on a thread suggesting she had a portrait in the attic..petitdonkey

Trills · 06/12/2013 09:39

If she has had work done, it's been done well.

That's all I can say.

plentyofsoap · 06/12/2013 09:56

I'm still impressed by her eyebrows....

GideonKipper · 06/12/2013 10:03

Hmm I think they're maybe a bit too far apart .

petitdonkey · 06/12/2013 12:27

Fanjo - sorry, i didn't mean to offend and agreed totally with your comment (and I have had botox so not at all sniffy about it!) I just thought that it was a supportive thread in S&B doing what women do which is saying, 'wow - life is shit at the moment but you look fab!' That is what I might say to a girlfriend. What I didn't like was that it swiftly became comments about 'wind tunnel' looks and analysing whether people should have work etc - one poster added her picture specifically saying 'this is not a beautiful woman'! If the thread had been 'do you think Nigella looks good?' it might have been different but, as I read it, the OP had started it to be nice about a women going through a difficult time and it swiftly became not nice.

Am I making sense? As I said, I saw nothing wrong with your point as you were also being nice about her…. Feel free to ignore me.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 06/12/2013 12:29

Yes..I see what you mean. No offence taken :) I am poorly so probably a bit grumpy

diddlediddledumpling · 06/12/2013 19:00

Well now petitdonkey I'm just going to take a wee issue with your comment, if you dont mind, because I posted that photo and I did not quite say 'this is not a beautiful woman'. I have seen lots of photographs of Nigella looking very beautiful and on television I do think she looks stunning. I was just surprised when I looked at the photos of her arriving at court because so many had said she looked 'incredibly beautiful', and I really don't think she does in those photos. I was questioning the idea that someone who looks both drawn and plumped up at the same time looks incredibly beautiful. I thought she looked unhealthy, actually.
Apologies if it read like I was kicking a woman when she's down.

petitdonkey · 06/12/2013 21:31

diddledumpling - I've never had someone 'take issue' with my comments before!!! I knew as soon as I made my last post that I had misquoted you but you must see that you didn't clarify your position as you just have, you just posted a picture and said that you didn't think ushe looked beautiful. (Apologies for the paraphrasing but I find the iPad painful to cut and paste on).

I'm very sorry if I have been goady- I think there have just been so many threads, not just about nigella, where posters seem to want to do others down. I always found mn to be a supportive place and am seeing more and more bitchiness. I only clicked on this thread to begin with as I thought that it sounded like someone was being nice. Again, just ignore me please.

cloggal · 06/12/2013 21:50

I think she looks amazing, and even better when she is slightly heavier. The pictures of her in her youth I think show a beautiful woman, but she has just grown into herself, work or not. I don't give a toss what she has done in the privacy of her own home though I do see ghetto's point about how we'd react if this was a family on Jeremy Kyle...

And Saatchi is pond life, naturally.

BoffinMum · 06/12/2013 23:28

I don't care what she looks like.
I am still reeling from the idea that a household can happily spend £10,000 a week on "general housekeeping". Greedy bastards.

cloggal · 06/12/2013 23:40

Shock boffinmum I missed that! Too busy admiring the shade of blusher Nige was wearing :)

cloggal · 06/12/2013 23:41

Dammit... But seriously, 10k a week?

valiumredhead · 06/12/2013 23:52

I think I read their joint worth is 300 million or something obscene,10k is peanutsGrin

cloggal · 07/12/2013 00:09

God if I had that money I would be FARTING champagne. Wine

No wonder her pantry is always groaning. Not a euphemism.
