Water. 2l each day.

Rollermum · 19/11/2013 01:01

Using cold cream cleanser that you remove with muslin. Specifically Liz Earle, didn't get on with Ponds as too strong smelling and thick in comparison. Now I'm on maternity leave am struggling up justify the expense though!

WallyBantersJunkBox · 19/11/2013 01:08

Eve Lom cleanser every night.
Followed by Revive night cream.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 19/11/2013 01:14

Gentle exfoliation at least every other day with Angels on Bare Skin by Lush. Was always ok-ish in warmer weather but rough and a bit reddened and flaky in winter, now peachy smooth all year round.

SecretWitch · 19/11/2013 01:17

Water and cream cleanser with hylaluronic acid.

PassAFist · 19/11/2013 01:23

Sex 1-2 times a day, every day recently. I am positively glowing!

butterfliesinmytummy · 19/11/2013 01:37

Coconut oil cleansing - amazing.

Also, no sugar or wheat and lots of water and sleep along with La Roche Posay skincare. It's a slog but seems to work.

Water and exercise. A good facial scrub done on a regular basis- origins never a dull moment is great.

Twit · 19/11/2013 06:05

I already drink lots of water, get fresh air and excercise etc but have found using rosehip oil instead of a normal moisturiser has been amazing on my my poor sleep deprived skin.

FadBook · 19/11/2013 06:23

Switching to bare minerals make up

Water

No alcohol

Cleanse and moisturise every night.

notnowImreading · 19/11/2013 06:24

Going to bed earlier.

SorrelForbes · 19/11/2013 07:04

Jan Marini skin care range, specifically the Glycolic cleanser. When I'm skint I use La Roche Posay instead which is a close second.

JuneauWhoIAm · 19/11/2013 07:09

Sleep and taking fish oils.

I ran out of them lately and just forgot to replace them.
My hair noticed first, seriously!
Anyway, I'm back taking them and it makes a huge difference to me.

dizhin79 · 19/11/2013 07:54

another vote for sleep and water, though not at same time!!

Bexicles · 19/11/2013 08:16

Double cleansing. Smile Pass lucky you!

Karbea · 19/11/2013 08:38

Double cleansing
Clinique take the day off cleansing balm (1st cleanse)
Clarins exfoliator brightening toner

I've made a lot of changes to my face regime lately but I'm pretty sure these three things have taken me from a very zitty/boily 39 year old to a fairly nomal skinned one!

missmartha · 19/11/2013 08:49

Sleep, eating well and avoiding sugar.

I have started moisturising my face with coconut oil at night and it's lovely, much , much better than £££ night creams.

I also use coconut oil on my body straight after a shower. It doesn't take long to sink in a leave my body soft and silky.

eurochick · 19/11/2013 08:53

Water
Exfoliate once or twice a week
Only wear foundation very occasionally

LittleTulip · 19/11/2013 09:00

Regular exfoliation. Every 2-3 days.

JemimaPuddle · 19/11/2013 09:29

Double cleansing

Glycolic acid

AdorabeezleWinterpop · 19/11/2013 09:35

Caroline Hirons! here

The routine looks like a slog when written down, but it only takes five minutes every morning/evening.

I use a Body Shop cleansing balm, REN clay cleanser, REN toner, Hydraluron and Clinique DD moisturiser (will change that when it runs out though).

The best thing though is Alpha-H Liquid Gold. My skin looks better than it ever has before, despite eating rubbish and getting no sleep thanks to a non- sleeping baby and his three-year-old sister!

sleepdodger · 19/11/2013 09:58

Thanks all, I'm on it with the water today and am defo feeling more alert and needing a wee already!
Sleep, what do toddler parents get?
We have an erratic sleeping one, but no matter what it alway seems to be midnight before I get to sleep Blush if I went to bed at 10 if have maybe 30 minutes a day tv as down time and that's it- is that normal the sacrifice I have to make
Interesting on sugar: will start today too, alcohol too Shock Wink I'll be such fun off my sugar come down water sipping self
On the plus side already caffeine and wheat free
Thanks for all double cleanse suggestion, will give that a go!

A decent diet. I've lost 4 stone on Slimming World and my skin is better than when I was a teenager.

HyvaPaiva · 19/11/2013 10:07

I've always made sure to drink lots of water each day and to exfoliate once a week. The products I love and that have particularly softening/brightening effects are by Ole Henriksen.
