Another long and lean fan here! I dyed them last year and they looked quite good but very dated - I gave them to my Mum when she was over and she is thrilled with them.

Ok - week from hell over, DD in bed, DH out, am drinking a very delicious glass of pinot noir so time to catch up...

MrsR apols I never answered your question about hat sizing. I haven’t a clue!!! All I know is that my head is big, I don’t spend a lot on hats and always go for biggest size. The one I wore to the MU was from Gap last January and it’s a size M/L.
Grumpy great that the trousers worked out and another vote here for something frivolous and silky underneath.
Marsha just to confuse things have you looked at Caterpillar boots? DH bought me a pair like these black biker style in December 2010 when I was 8 months pregnant and trudging through the snow to work – I love them. They still look like new. These ones look toasty too – lots on amazon.

liberty no just got a haircut but the hairdresser did mention they were going to start offering a kind of Brazilian blowdry that is kinder on fine hair so I will wait for that.

Marsha why don't you order a couple of pairs and try them out? Amazon returns are easy (I think) although I can't work out from the site if they are free or not.
