MarshaBrady · 29/10/2013 10:21

Mig I only realised the other day I hadn't followed all your pin boards! I have been missing out. A visual delight. I wondered why I wasn't seeing all that ice cream Grin

mignonnette · 29/10/2013 10:49

Hi Marsha

I followed you back here Grin. I saw the email from Pin and am glad to have you join my little gang. Thank you for your compliment.

How are you all? Have been a little promiscuous of late with the threads and will try to post more often here as feeling a little guilty.

Shop They are gorgeous. Are they your new pets Grin? That Vince sweater is lovely but i do not suit polo necks as my hair is too long. It needs shearing it is so long. Am plucking up the courage to make an appointment.

Grumpy Those Rileys are super cool. Like v v much. I sent the Helmut skirt back last night as did not like it on me-too short and just felt exposed. I wanted it for an every day skirt but it is more evening length. I thought it might come up longer on me being a human of shorter proportions but no luck. Will have to keep looking. I am so fussy over what i want. I really would like an A line wool flannel or felted wool dark navy to the knee skirt with maybe an inverted pleat to the front and side pockets. Has any body seen one? Or camel or dark grey as second choice?

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 29/10/2013 11:29

Didn't get to do a thorough catch up last night, but went back about 10 pages, so reasonably up-to-date.

Shop I attempted to post a pic on our board when all gussied up for my night at the O2 last week, but for some reason it didn't attach itself properly and I'd deleted the pic by then (Don't want kids finding selfies on my phone - I'd never hear the end of it!) I'll just say the outfit was nice.

Marsha love the link. Funny how you can just tell if it's NYC, Paris or London before you even read the caption. Fashion subtleties I s'pose.

Thanks Mig - I love the boots too. They look v cool but are also super comfy and not at all high. I think I'll be wearing them alot.

Don't knock the yak - I think my new Diesel gilet may be made from genuine yak skin...

AmberNectarine · 29/10/2013 12:28

Ines would be proud - am wearing a navy sweater today with a burgundy leather skirt, burgundy Kors heels and sparkly navy Bayswater.

Evening all! I just spent 11 hours sat next to a very handsome Spanish man who kept smiling at me. I got very flustered and kept waving my left hand at himBlush. It was probably, all in my headBlushGrin

Novice I think you liked these?

Turquoiseblue · 29/10/2013 15:09

Afternoon all.
Well I had a hair disaster this weekend. It s been traumatic. Hmm Have rebooked appointment to get it somewhat fixed again Friday. Feeling a bit glum now as I had put off getting it done for a while - partly due to business of work /life /home and partly due to wanting to have it right for all the events coming up in November and December. But it s horrible. Plus I couldn't get an appointment to get colour done so have a nasty horrible cut and bad roots. Oh help. It s been one of those horrible months. Hope she can fix it somewhat on Friday. Hate looking in the mirror at the moment. Have such thick thick hair it needs a really precessional cut and I thought this stylist was great- she hasn't seen me wrong before. But the cuts defiantly not what I asked for.
Had a lovely evening with dh last night - wore me and me long sleeved maxi dress, black ankle boots, black knitted biker, found a really gorgous reiss bag in black suede I had forgotten about to top it off. That cheered me somewhat (wore a hat to hide the hideous hairdo)
Thank god hair grows.!

Drywhiteplease · 29/10/2013 15:37

Oh Turq that's bad. So sorry. Hope

They sort it out on Friday. At least you have a few weeks for it to bed down.... I always prefer mine two weeks after a cut. Last night's outfit sounds fab.
amber burgundy leather skirt < swoon> hope that outfit goes on your blog, would love to see it .
grumpy Shoeaholics.com..... Fab site !

Drywhiteplease · 29/10/2013 15:37

Sorry ....MrsR you linked that site.

OneLittleLady · 29/10/2013 15:45

Asking, if anyone is in the know. I spotted a dress in my local HoF outlet and it's branded , Michael - Michael Korrs. The label is like a muted gold colour with off white writing. Is this a diffusion line? I'm umming and ahhing about going back for it because it's lovely and may well do for my christmas party dress. it's long, navy blue with ruching and draping across the stomach area. Haven't been able to find a picture of it anywhere and was in a rush so couldn't snap it in the shop.

AmberNectarine · 29/10/2013 16:29

one yes Michael, Michael Kors is the diffusion line for MK proper. Mainline MK dresses run in the thousands. I am wearing diffusion line MK shoes today and I love them. I also really like the dresses - sounds like a good buy for you!

OneLittleLady · 29/10/2013 16:31

I'm in town on thursday so will go back for a try on and if it suits I'll grab it. It's priced at £15 currently so it seems like a steal Grin thanks amber

justasecond · 29/10/2013 17:36

Amber your outfit sounds lovely. Burgundy and navy is one of my fave colour combos.
I really like the Hudson Rileys Grumpy they were on my considering list but not sure how they wil llook with skinny jeans which is what I wear 90% of the time.
Still dithering over MbMJ bag, I have until 31st for discount code! The cheapskate bargain hunter in me is wondering if it will be cheaper in sale
