Anni good luck! Flowers

Foxy it will be good when you're done. Time does seem to stop when building is going on. Have only had a decorator but that was bad enough.

OneLittleLady · 27/10/2013 16:22

good luck anni Thanks Wine

Drywhiteplease · 27/10/2013 16:49

Good luck Anni... Alcohol and ILs go hand in hand Grin
Foxy it's hard, but worth it. I know exactly how you feel. You just need to get through it and when it's done you'll be so proud of all your work and you'll forget about the awful bits.
I love this but not the dry clean only or angora. Will check out when I go to J Crew. Anyone seen anything similar in cotton?

Drywhiteplease · 27/10/2013 17:01

Hey Marsha another one for you list boot

MarshaBrady · 27/10/2013 18:20

Thanks Dry! They're on my list already, they look great.

Shop hope you had a good family day today.

MarshaBrady · 27/10/2013 18:21

Love that J Crew btw.

LinusDKD · 27/10/2013 19:14

Haven't had time to catch-up so it's a quick post from me.

dry that cable knit J Crew is lovely. I hope that know that I have lost some weight I can start wearing cable knits again.

anni a barrel on Wine or vodka for you!

I don't know who asked but I have taken some picture of me wearing the Hush dress with different boots.

Apologies for the dodgy pictures but the only full length mirror we have is rubbish and in the hallway where the lighting is crap.

I tried them on with black stretchy suede flat over the knee boots and I quite liked that look. (Photo 1)

Then I wore some ancient black LK Bennett heeled boots and I wasn't taken with the way they looked with the dress. Maybe I should have worn black tights instead of a bright blue but I don't think it works. (Photo 2)

I am washing the dress for the first time tonight so fingers crossed it washes well.

Hello! It's been one stressful day. Dh not well and the kids in full 2 year old and 4 year old mode. I need gin.

Looks like my trains won't be running in the morning and I am supposed to be flying to Asia tomorrow night. BA won't want to cancel as its one their lucrative trips but I just know 24 hours before that tomorrow is going to be a looonng day. Sigh.

I have however been well dressed on this stressful day! A second outing for the Hackwick cashmere jumper (I am seriously in love with them!) and banana republic beige skinny cords. So warm and comfy!

I haven't packed yet but with temperatures of 28 degrees I need to drag out the summer wardrobe for a last hurrah!Grin

Annianni · 27/10/2013 20:40

Good luck Novice.

Well I survived and without alcohol.
He's quite harmless really apart from when he did practically snog me on our wedding day, but we had got him completely shitfaced on vintage Tattinger... He's usually an ale man and it totally floored him
:o

shopafrolic · 27/10/2013 20:44

Safe travels tomorrow Novice
Waves to all. Ok day here. DH getting stressed out with DS Hmm I took the dogs for a long walk to escape.
Have been wearing 7FAM boyfriend-alikes with Aubin and Wills tan and black striped sweater, and Hudson boots. A friend has just offered to take me here for a champagne breakfast for my birthday. Lovely.

Drywhiteplease · 27/10/2013 21:04

Oh ....pmsl at breakfast this morning. DH did cooked breakfast for everyone. His mother was questioning the way he cooks boiled eggs, apparently you have to make a tiny hole in the shell and he'd put it in the wrong place.........DCs teens remember and I could hear her from the kitchen saying " don't you know where to put your prick?" Linus - it was me who asked about the Hush dress and boots. Thank you so much for going to the trouble of taking photos and posting them. I love the dress, so flattering. Agree about the boots - it looks best in the first picture. Thanks again.
