So no posting from Shop 7-8pm?

Drywhiteplease · 27/10/2013 21:22

Or Liberty Wink

mignonnette · 27/10/2013 21:22

Safe travels Novice and Dry

LHR and Gatwick are canceling flights already however there is a pecking order as to which are cancelled. I know that the Edinburgh/Gatwick run tomorrow morning has been cancelled. Awaiting news of Gatwick/Barcelona as have friends arriving on it to stay. This is looking doubtful.

RE 'nap time'. I miss the days when both children were in school. They have a habit of turning up here at unpredictable times since leaving so now the the only thing that happens on the kitchen floor is the washing of it. Grin

Good idea Shop, usually close to 8pm though when I get DD settled (info for Dry) and DH snoring on the couch beside me now!

Sorry Linus I meant to say, you look great in the Hush dress.

libertychick · 27/10/2013 21:48

BTW where is Grumpy? Hols?

Drywhiteplease · 27/10/2013 21:51

Yes Linus Hush dress is lovely

AmberNectarine · 27/10/2013 21:53

That is an acheivement one, I have to grate them and stealth them into sauces like I do for the DC. Today there was whinging at a bit of diced carrot in the lasagne. Sigh.

Am back in hospital on weds for my hand op to be redone. I feel like I live there just lately! Expect the return of the grubby bandage on my blog.

OneLittleLady · 27/10/2013 22:00

libertychick · 27/10/2013 22:04

I have a question if I may.....?
What happens if you wear wool coats in the rain or snow? I ask having seen this Pin of EA
I hate having to pull on an ugly waterproof coat in the winter. If I wear my peacoat or my camel Maison Scotch coat in the bad weather am I going to ruin them?

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 28/10/2013 09:01

I only have wool coats, they seem fine. She looks good, EA can do a hat.

Annianni · 28/10/2013 09:04

I wore my green peacoat in the rain last winter and it's fine.

I hung it on the back of a chair to dry, away from direct heat etc.

If it was lashing down, I'd wear my parka instead though, for the hood.

I usually struggle with toddler, umbrella, handbag etc...

shopafrolic · 28/10/2013 09:08

I like her boots too - good heel height......

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 28/10/2013 09:09

Me too. Think the coat is Isabel M, not sure if boots are too.

mignonnette · 28/10/2013 09:12

Wool coats should be dried away from direct heat and ensure you also hang them so that they retain their shape.

Dry them slowly and they'll be fine. don't try to towel dry them or blot the water as it drives dirty rainwater into the fibres.
