I quite fancy a chunky, cabled poncho in a neutral colour. With my new boots I could do a great Clint Eastwood impersonation Grin

The sherry is calling.........

Can't make pre Xmas which is a shame as it would have been a fab way to celebrate my birthday. (8th)

shopafrolic · 26/10/2013 18:16

I'll be in London either way on the 7th Dec or my haircut so if anyone fancies a catch up just shout.........

Yes me Shop! For mu.

Lol Liberty I like your style Grin

I have zero in between clothes. It's skinnies or dressy argh. Am conveniently forgetting it is dressing up for Halloween party. I can't do that, can I? What to wear!

LinusDKD · 26/10/2013 18:33

Evening!

novice yay! Such good news!

foxy how infuriating about your Cocosa stuff but at least they seem to be dealing with it quickly and justly.

I have just started reading the LKB thread and the mind boggles. I LOATHE snooty shop assistants and just take my cash elsewhere. Their loss.

santa so funny about your rockstuds! Grin

liberty Wink We do like afternoon naps but only because we can then have a nap ourselves. Blush

mrsr have a great night out! Your outfit looked fab.

queenc have a great trip.

The Hush dress and the Jalouses got their first outing today and I felt great in them and DH told me I looked lovely. If the dress washed well I might buy it in another colour as it is such an easy dress to throw on.

We went to two parties with DS today, a Halloween party in the morning and a birthday party in the afternoon.

I was joking with DH that DS has more of a social life than us. Hmm

The day ended a bit on a downer as DD (who had been a bit moany all day) threw up after dinner tonight and then fell asleep in my arms.

She's asleep in bed now but I am a bit worried because she was really not herself all day.

AmberNectarine · 26/10/2013 18:56

I'm really a man shop.

Drywhiteplease · 26/10/2013 19:13

Shop I only drink it if things get desperate....or on Xmas day I like a Harvey's while stirring the gravy old lady

OneLittleLady · 26/10/2013 19:25

Sherry was my Nanans drink of choice, used to send her the nicest bottle I could afford every year for Christmas (from when I was old enough to buy it that is)

shopafrolic · 26/10/2013 19:34

That explains the fabulous tits then Amber Grin
hope I know you well enough for that joke

libertychick · 26/10/2013 20:34

7th Dec is a possibility - will commence negotiations with DH.

Sherry reminds me of my gran too one. She didn't drink all year then would have two sherries on Christmas day and get all giggly.

santamarianovella · 26/10/2013 20:58

linus your poor dd,hope its just a mild tummy ache,

liberty my dd's naps are getting shorter too,and i dont like it! its my peace and quiet time.

amber i think you and i are the only ones who wont make it to a MU!

queen dh and enjoyed disney more than the dcs! have fun!

Drywhiteplease · 26/10/2013 21:01

Grin Shop you are naughty......good one Amber Grin

Ok, one Xmas ILs chez moi had bought my bottle of H B Cream through extreme necessity and I like the blue bottle, ditto Bombay sapphire!I'm shallow and ploughed my way through a lot as I was stirring gravy. Served up starter and main like a truly chilled pissed domestic goddess, then went into living room not a lounge here to get something vitally important .........only to be gently woken up by DH a lot later "um I think we're ready for the pudding now" Shock Grin

santamarianovella · 26/10/2013 21:06

dry Grin

OneLittleLady · 26/10/2013 21:08

LinusDKD · 26/10/2013 21:10

BrandyAlexander · 26/10/2013 21:11

Thanks ladies! I was beginning to get stressed about the charity as the team went to the village this week to check foundations etc for the new classrooms. I had basically committed the money to the building firm. phew!

So I have spent the afternoon decorating the house for Halloween as I am not here on the day. Bloomin' knackered now!

Whoever said they weren't inspired by this seasons stuff, I am right with you. Other than my 2 new pairs of shoes (dh loves nice shoes on me Wink) and couple of things from j crew it's been a quiet season.

Liberty, Shop, afternoon trysts? EnvyEnvyEnvy I remember those!

MrsMcGregor · 26/10/2013 22:05

De-lurking to ask a quick question .... Linus, the Hush dress is lovely but what do you thnk it would be like with knee high boots? I can see it would be fab with ankles but I wonder about long boots?

Thanks

shopafrolic · 26/10/2013 22:16

Novice I get no night time action. Take tonight for an example. DH asleep in chair at 8, he headed for bed at 9. All that fresh air Hmm
Once DS drops his nap I will have to become a nun

OP posts:
libertychick · 26/10/2013 22:24

Nunhood looming for me too Shop - DH in bed too. And I end up in the spare room most nights as I am either working late or snoring!!! I may have to start working from home on DD's playgroup days Grin

OneLittleLady · 26/10/2013 22:29

So, Dp tells me that since my medication was increased a couple of weeks ago, I've been sleepwalking every night and having massive conversations/shouting fits in the night. Apparently last night I was shouting that my sister had stolen my sweets and the night before that I was telling him I needed to get up to get ready for school Hmm
