just read through a bit more. sending Wine to all those with IL visits, before DH changed his flights he had suggested drafting ours in for 'help'... I think my floods of tears made him realise not a sensible option...

liberty did all the work finding the bargainous poncho btw so Flowers for you. am hoping it might come with RM today. X

MarshaBrady · 26/10/2013 10:39

Eek hope it turns up Foxy.

Beautifully quiet here, which is rare for a Saturday morning. Dh has gone to pick up ds1 from his parents. They live in London so don't need to stay here at all, must admit the current situation is very handy that way. Ds eats so much, (and yet is so slim) I am grateful for the fridge relief!

I'm hoping to get the Liberty voucher very soon, plus £30 off. Will have to decide between boots or jumper I think.

MrsRadicchio · 26/10/2013 11:41

Hello

Sorry not really caught up properly - you guys have been busy!

Foxy I missed the cheap poncho - can you link? That is great about your dh btw. I tried this poncho which was really nice but the style just doesn't suit me.

Dry I like those other boots too - v nice.

Hello to pseud and just - great links

Linus great about the jalouse. I really like my spirals now (I have wide feet and a high instep so sounds like I wouldn't fit into the jalouse!)

Shop that isn't good of the outnet. Hope they get back to you.

I am a bit annoyed with yoox - ordered some trainers and they were a completely different size to what I ordered. Have asked them to refund postage. It is annoying with the waiting in for courier to drop off AND pick up. Much prefer the RM option.

I have gone a bit mad in the boden sale. I have bought top like linus (I am wearing it now, like it) cowl neck in purple (know some of you hate them but the shape is good for me) jumper - this is one of my best colours so couldn't resist and this bag - liked the colour

Am off to pub tonight - thanks for all the lovely comments on pin, I will feel v confident in my outfit with your kind words ringing in my ears Flowers

Happy weekends to everyone.

BrandyAlexander · 26/10/2013 12:42

Hi Mrs R,which top are you wearing? I presume it's the lovely skirt with heels? If I was tall, I would wear swishy skirts like that tooEnvy bet you look fab tonight!

pseudonymity · 26/10/2013 12:52

Hello! Customer service - LK Bennett I've always found to be really pushy, in an old-fashioned way. I've also been asked to order and pay for shoes just to try them on in there. Shoddy.

santamarianovella · 26/10/2013 13:06

Hello all,
foxy that's terrible,i think discounted sites are very misleading, they should have stated that they were seconds,or with fault, don't give up hope call them on Monday, and demand free returns and refund.
shop, hope you get an answer soon, really dying to know what excuse they have!
mrsR great shopping, the outfit on the MMv is really gorgeous,

marsha what kind of sweater are you looking for?

santamarianovella · 26/10/2013 13:14

pseudo Thats unbelievable ! haven't shopped there before, but after reading the thread, I don't think I ever will,

QueenCadbury · 26/10/2013 13:41

Hello. Just popping in between hairdressers/eyelash tint/eyebrow wax and packing!

mrsr lovely jumpers. I've decided that my pink uniqlo jumoer that I bought in London isn't quite vivid enough. It looks fine but not wow. I'm finding more and more that I try things on in shops and look great, to get home and find they look completely different in daylight. It might just be that I'm feeling a bit meh about all my clothes at the moment. Not sure why really because I know that really I love them all but I'm just feeling a bit crap about myself. Anyone else ever feel like that?

So aside from my Minnie Mouse ears I need to plan a capsule wardrobe for eurodisney. 2 jeans, 4 tees, 2 cardigans. I'm thinking that should be enough for 4 days?

BrandyAlexander · 26/10/2013 13:59

Who hoooooo! After almost 4 months of silence HMRC have finally given my charity its charitable tax status and back dated it to 1 July!!!WineWineWineWine

QueenCadbury · 26/10/2013 14:39

Fab news novice

santamarianovella · 26/10/2013 14:55

novice thats amazing news!

queen thats sounds good enough,be sure to pack a light parka.

Drywhiteplease · 26/10/2013 15:16

Fab news Novice
QueenC I think this season is a bit meh really.....haven't got excited about anything really and no sale list yet although this could change after my November shopping trip to London and J crew

2 Wine So far Grin

MarshaBrady · 26/10/2013 16:14

Novice great news!

Santa your rockstud story is very funny Grin. I'm not sure yet on jumper. Something warm. Or boots. Liberty stock can feel a bit limited sometimes and it's luck of the draw. I just need to make sure I don't squander it on the wrong thing.

MrsR have a lovely time tonight. Loved your outfit. That Boden jumper is so perfect for you!

I've never shopped in LKB. Sounds bad.

QueenC you have lovely clothes, perhaps it's a bad patch and a change of scenery is just what you need.

Dry hah at your cross outs. J Crew indeed better be good.

QueenCadbury · 26/10/2013 16:14

Good going dry. Have another Wine. I'm still feeling a little delicate from last night.

santa I shall be wearing my north face anorak as the forecast is for showers. I will also be taking my waterproof trousers just in case of a downpour!

I've decided on red and purple cardigans as they'll coordinate with my ears Grin. Soooo excited!!!!

libertychick · 26/10/2013 16:24

Good news novice!
Have just looked in pin QueenC and I think the pink looks great on you. I often feel a bit 'meh' about my clothes and then other days think it's all great. Eurodisney with the 3 DC's will be fab!
I was in French Connection today and bought this black t-shirt - not the most exciting purchase but good shape and length and will be useful I think.

DD is definitely giving up her afternoon nap - only 20 mins today. DH distraught Grin and our sex life is ruined Grin Grin are we the only ones who are too tired at night so rely on daytime nap for tomfoolery

QueenCadbury · 26/10/2013 16:43

Grin at liberty! My dd has also given up the nap. But with 2 other dc we never get the chance for Tomfoolery Grin.

Thanks for nice comments about clothes/pink jumper. marsha you're right, a change of scenery will be great. I'm just tired and hungover with too much to do today and all I want to do is go to bed.

Drywhiteplease · 26/10/2013 17:06

"Daytime tomfoolery" Liberty Shock The daily Mail is right, MN is just full of smut! Grin

queenC Disney is fab.....ESP with little ones. You are going to have a ball ...wrap up and leave your adult head outside the gates.......have a great time!

shopafrolic · 26/10/2013 17:29

Nope - I'm dreading DS dropping his nap Liberty we'll never have sex again!
I am on the wine - a full day with DS and no playdates does that to a woman.

ooo lots to catch up on for a saturday! lovely that we are all around a bit and grabbing chance to post.

mrsR this is the poncho it arrived earlier but have not had time to open parcel yet. will report! had a £10 voucher and got a good quidco rate too.

queenc fwiw I agree about the shade of the jumper. I have a splendid one on my 'considering' board that I love but is £££. not seen anything else to match it yet so is just staying there on the wishlist for now.

novice AMAZING. what a woman you are. x

all credit to cocosa- they have refunded outbound delivery, given me a freepost address to send return to and will refund items on arrival. good response.

OneLittleLady · 26/10/2013 17:32

Fab news Novice hopefully you can move things forward the way you want to now

Have a brilliant time QueenC I've heard so many fab stories about kids and Disney, I'm sure you'll have a ball Smile
