I didn't see that Shop! Must pay more attention.

justasecond · 25/10/2013 20:41

Pseudo that fabric def does not look like it would be see through from the pics, I would complain they should let you off the restocking charge.
Thanks for the feedback Marsha .Now wondering if I should I go for the bag or hold out for a bigger discount in the sale? (Cheapskate emoticon) I don't usually spend that much on bags or anything else
Dry those new clarks boots are lovely, I tried the first pair you had and they were too big around the leg but quite nice too.

AmberNectarine · 25/10/2013 20:42

DD (2.2) told me I was 'selfish' today when I wouldn't let her watch Peppa Hmm

Having a large vodka at the end of a looong day. It feels good.

santamarianovella · 25/10/2013 20:44

hello everyone,
ani teething is awful, hope LO feels better soon.
dry and shop we are visiting my ILS next week! and i need more than luck and Wine to get through it Grin,

amber you look amazing at the DR event, lovely outfits too.was it the the ANJA photo ready you tried? how is the sizing?

pseud %99 of the things i ordered from the outnet < 3 orders in total> were big disappointments,

just i looove the teal bag,

linus mr linus did well!

pseudonymity · 25/10/2013 20:45

It's not see-through but it does show every lump and bump, combination of pale colour and thin fabric. As Shop said, it does say it's a lightweight fabric - I just didn't read it!

shopafrolic · 25/10/2013 20:47

Definitely call them Pseudo and say the pic is misleading. They can only refuse...... Nothing ventured....

santa I think it was the high rise rail. They were really good, super-flattering. If I wasn't saving for my bag they'd be in my wardrobe right now. I'm hoping to have some change from the bag purchase, which will be directed at jeans and Chelsea boots.

BrandyAlexander · 25/10/2013 21:05

I took them into work yesterday in their box and wore them for my PA and another girlfriend and they told me I would be mad to send them back! dh hasn't seen them yet but he did this Hmm when I told him I have new shoes and lots of blokes at work complimented me on them. He also made the same face as I am off to Asia on Monday and mentioned I was looking forward to wearing my Atwoods. Grin

libertychick · 25/10/2013 21:15

Dry I definitely prefer the brown boots and think they are more 'you'.
Pseud courier collection returns drive me mad - retailers if you are lurking we need a choice - either courier OR post. There is a bag on the Outnet that I really like but one of the things putting me off is the whole 'stay in for delivery' and potential returns faff.
Welcome chapel
I really like the MbMJ bag justa.
Good news on the jalouse Linus.
Yay for the reprieve on the Valentino's novice. They are beautiful. Now tell us what bling you wore today Grin
Foxy do feedback on the poncho when it arrives - bargain!

Drywhiteplease · 25/10/2013 21:30

Liberty you know me now! it's great! and you're right they are more me. Actually think they might work with certain dress/skirts too.
Justa I really love the Marc J bag, like Linus I'm a big fan of teal tones of all shades and I think it would go with an awful lot of autumn colours and fab with grey .
Santa and shop we can form a support group!

BrandyAlexander · 25/10/2013 21:31

Ooh hello to delurkers!

Good luck to Dry! Love my ils but 4 days would have me itching to get back home!

Linus poor you. I felt every single one of ds' teeth come through. 'Twas painful.

LibertyGrin actually yesterday's bling was more interesting. Mil bought me some fantastic dress pearls (necklace and bracelet) a few years ago and haven't worn them for a while. I felt fab. They were a mixture of sizes and colours and look very rock chick. Today was a shiny day...! Swaroski flower ring, Hermes Heure watch with 12 diamonds (40th present from dh), diamond tennis bracelet, Tiffany's diamond cross (present to myself on my last promotion) and Tiffany's diamond studs. Oh and of course engagement ring. I sound like a bauble but it's classier than it sounds!Blush

OneLittleLady · 25/10/2013 21:47

couple of new pics, you know where

santamarianovella · 25/10/2013 21:48

Thanks amber, will wait for black friday to get them.

novice i think your jewelry choice sounds very classy, and your MIL sounds very nice, very thoughtful of her to buy you jewels, mine would have a fit if she bought me a single thing!

BrandyAlexander · 25/10/2013 22:05

Santa, a few years ago I could have done a whole Aibu about mil (I didn't speak to her for a few months after our weddingHmm) but thankfully all changed since I had her precious grandchildren! Now, I am grateful for her son, exquisite taste, generosity and love of bling Grin

BrandyAlexander · 25/10/2013 22:08

Santa, How are the Rockstuds by the way?Envy

libertychick · 25/10/2013 22:08

Both days sound great novice. Envy

santamarianovella · 25/10/2013 22:46

novice they are fab , they look uncomfortable but in reality they are so easy to walk in,
i showed them to dh when i got back from paris and he loved themWink but i had to stop him half way to remove them, couldnt risk getting them ruined or anything Grin .

libertychick · 25/10/2013 22:50

Grin Love that you have your priorities right santa!!!

foxysocks · 25/10/2013 23:01

am RAGING at cocosa. the items I got were so flimsy, am sure both were seconds. have sent a strongly worded email cancelling order under DSR and asked them to refund the postage to send it back as well. will never use them again.

foxysocks · 25/10/2013 23:02

liberty will def let you know how poncho turns out, at least i can return that to store should there be a problem but it looks so lovely, am v excited!

santamarianovella · 25/10/2013 23:06

ive waited sooo long for them liberty! they even have a special place in my wardrobe were they are not cramped with other shoes ,they make me smile whenever i open my wardrobe Smile.

Turquoiseblue · 25/10/2013 23:38

Wine to all for friday night ... especially Dry ... because [sherry] just aint naice .... xx

shopafrolic · 26/10/2013 08:46

Morning all - why does it always rain on the days when DH goes shooting?! Might have to take DS to a shopping centre just to get out

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 26/10/2013 08:50

Foxy I've only ever bought the once from Cocosa - the item was fine but tricky returns as I mentioned up thread. Fingers crossed it gets sorted for you.
The Outnet haven't done anything other than send me a holding email about the button on my coat.... How hard can it be to come to a decision about a button falling off?

OP posts:
foxysocks · 26/10/2013 09:47

I know shop, I should have listened to you!! thought because I knew my sizes in both particular brands would be ok but wasn't expecting such shoddy quality.

can't believe outnet not responded yet either, wtf is wrong with the CS atm?! H&M etc I expect to be rubbish but not higher end. have just read that LKB thread, never actually bought anything from there and now I never will. poor CS is just the worst.
