Novice did you get my PM yesterday?

OP posts:
LinusDKD · 25/10/2013 18:42

A couple of bottles of white Wine for dry!

Nice boots btw.

just I love the MbMJ but I might be prejudiced as I love teal.

pseudonymity welcome! And stay now you've delurked.

I have never returned anything from the Outnet but as I live abroad returns are always a major pain in the bum.

When I wore my Jalouses outside I noticed that ine boot is more distressed than the other but I am not going to let it bother me. With the amount of times DS stands on my feet they will both look very distressed soon.

29chapel · 25/10/2013 18:45

De lurking to ask a question please ladies - how do you link to a page? (yep i know i'm a dufus)
I need to get involved in this thread.

justasecond · 25/10/2013 18:49

Thanks Linus I am just wondering whether it will go with most of my clothes. I should go for black but I am just not a huge fan of a black bag.

Glad the jalouses worked out. I tried the spiral a while ago but my heel kept slipping out! Look great on though. I am still looking for ankle boots too although may just wait for the sales as I have plenty of pairs already to be getting on with.
Pseudo I totally agree re the outnet returns, total con has put me off ordering again unless it is something I am 100% sure about.

shopafrolic · 25/10/2013 19:12

Pseudo I haven't been too impressed with the Kain tee I have. Which did you get? Any links? Returns are a bit costly so it's always best to have an idea of sizing before you buy if you can. With jeans I tend to try them on elsewhere and then order from the ON. Our DHL man always comes between 11 and 1 most days so it's fairly easy to guess when he'll collect but agree, not the easiest. Stick around though.....
29chapel instructions for linking are at the bottom of every MN page - yes, stick around. Basically two of these [[ then your link copied and pasted from your browser, then a space, then a word or two to describe it and then two more of those brackets
Justasecond I have Spirals and Jalouse, and much prefer the fit of the Jalouse, the Spirals are wider I think and do slip about a bit

Oh and I love the MbMJ

shopafrolic THANK YOU!

LinusDKD · 25/10/2013 19:38

just I have a teal Tod's bag and fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I use it a lot and it does work with a lot of my clothes.

And even if it doesn't, I don't care Grin

The Coach bag in plum was nice too. Another colour I like.

BrandyAlexander · 25/10/2013 20:02

Hello Voguettes! purr.....I kept them! I love them. Wore them today with quite a funky Austin Reed AR black dress and black Hobbs jacket. I have used my bayswater twice this week which is rare, and then having been sparkle less all week, went the whole hog todayGrin

justasecond · 25/10/2013 20:04

Linus Teal Tod's bag sounds gorgeous. I always think a coloured leather bag is more interesting than black. Thinking about it I wear a lot of grey, navy and beige, cream so teal should be fine.
Does anyone know what brands of handbag the HOF on Oxford St stocks? I have some vouchers I need to spend but my local one does not really hold many handbag brands.

justasecond · 25/10/2013 20:07

ooh Novice those shoes are TDF although I could never walk in them. Your outfit sounds great.

shopafrolic · 25/10/2013 20:11

Oooh nice novice! Was it Mr.Novice who won you over? Wink

justasecond · 25/10/2013 20:22

Thanks Shop might be worth a trip there and the dds would love a day out in London Grin

pseudonymity · 25/10/2013 20:23

Hello. Very unashamedly green regarding Novice's booties!

The most disappointing item I ordered from the Outnet was this Kain skirt, the material in that colour means that it shows everything underneath - even a thong! It looked like a good heavy material online but it isn't.

MarshaBrady · 25/10/2013 20:25

Good one Novice!

Hi Pseud great to see you again. I rather like the outnet but I am getting pickier. Simpler things seem to work better. I like the process too, but the only returns I've been argh at is Donna Ida which cost half the price of the jeans to send back from the post office (they were on sale admittedly but still).

Linus great news on the Ash.

Dry I agree. Good theory. Great boots.

Lovely top Shop.

Justa I love the MbMJ it's gorgeous. Lovely colour too.

My day improved at the end watching ds2 reenact The Gruffalo's Child with all words and actions.

MarshaBrady · 25/10/2013 20:26

That material does look quite thick online.

shopafrolic · 25/10/2013 20:29

Pseudo not letting them off the hook but it does say lightweight fabric in the description........ Cocosa the worst place ever for returns IME. And £££££££
Marsha too cute. I had similar when DS looked me in the eye and said "mummy you are my BEST friend my darling"
Novice PM PM PM

shopafrolic · 25/10/2013 20:30

Pic 4 close up of fabric looks super thick........ Might be worth calling them and complaining, they might refund your return cost difference?

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 25/10/2013 20:32

Aw that's cute Shop.

Drywhiteplease · 25/10/2013 20:33

That is so sweet shop!

DS has started saying "why mama angry at cyclist/driver/pedestrian?" when I have grumbled at another road user being an idiot. Blush
