queenc DS slept until 7 today as well! It happens very rarely, but when it does it is soooo nice.

dry if you don't love the boots it's best if they go back.

My Hush Rosie dress arrived (the duties I had to pay were £££ ) and it is lovely.

I will have to try it on properly with tights and see how it washes though. Very tempted to buy it in another colour but will wait until I have worn the dress a few times.

Can't wait for the Jalouses and DH to arrive! I just hope they are the right size but I tried on the Spirals in Rome so I hope they are the same size wise.

Today I am wearing my Jimmies (who are starting to feel a bit loose ) a white J Crew tee and an old red cashmere cardigan from Hobbs.

And on my feet my red quilted French Sole ballerinas with bare feet

It was pretty cold this morning but apparently it should get warmer during the day.

Linus good news on the Hush dress.

Mou boots on Cocosa this morning, but think I will give them a miss. I need something hardier.

I'm semi lurking at the moment.
Having a lousy month week, Ds2 is teething (molars) and not sleeping very well.

I'm mainlining diet coke, sweets, crisps and bacon butties.
Sleep would have a fit if I did a food diary at the moment

I kept the Hudson May jeans from Tkmaxx.
They're a fab dark denim and look lovely with my plum Cos coat finally worn it today, after having it for a month or so

I returned the Hudson Beths, they look daft (on me) with boots, I felt like I should be line dancing...
They're fab with gigi's and Hav's in Summer, but I did the sensible thing and returned them, as I need clothes for now.

I've ordered a Boden breton and a navy sweater that 40 bum lady linked.
The only item I've ever kept from Boden is a bracelet, so we shall see...

Love those Hudson jeans you tried on at the DR. And my friend fell in love with those Lola Cruz boots when we were in there - I think we'll be making another visit.
I drove past the store today - the new signage looks great (they were still putting it up when I was there on Tuesday).

Quickie from me: tried this in TK Maxx today! was the only one! fit beautifully, but still £99. Do I send H to buy it today (hid it in the store so hopefully wouldn't be sold), or do I not need it? Think it's still quite a lot, says it's dry clean, plus am waiting to have colours done in a couple of weeks, and have always been wary of beige colours. But can't stop thinking about it...Vince cowl neck jumper

Hmmm - not sure Carrie. If you are not sure about the colour I wouldn't especially as it's a cowl neck as that means you can't wear a scarf in a better colour for you and jewellery options limited too. For that price you need to feel good about the colour. I sometimes get 'label vision' in TKM ie wow such a good price for that - would you consider it at full price????

Ok, you're right. I'm going to leave it. There's always something else, right?

That said, I think TKM are allowing 28 day return now so if it's really bugging you maybe get it and try at home with various outfits and in good lighting? When are you getting colours done? If in the next 4 weeks then you could get it and return if it's not a good colour for you?

Poor anni, teething is horrible and especially the molars. DS has finally had all his teeth, the last three molars came out at the same time. Oh joy!

Now we have 16 more teeth to go for DD and then she's done.

The Jalouses Dh have arrived and I love them! I did have a heart stopping moment when I wanted to try them on and I couldn't get my foot in!!!

So I took off my (thin) socks and with a bit of wriggling I got in and once they are on they fit perfectly.

I small and narrow feet so I have no idea why it's so hard to get in them but, once on, they look lovely. Can't wait to wear them with my
Hush dress tomorrow!

And DH listened and got the least distressed pair they held back for me (I wrote his instructions very clearly in an e-mail and he must have read it because when they showed him one pair he told them it looked too distressed and asked whether they would get the other pair )

DH also got me something from Smythson......

No it's not a Nancy but a dainty little yellow notebook embossed with, wait for it..... Yummy Mummy.

I think the memo that the term Yummy Mummy is now more of an insult than a compliment didn't reach DH's desk.

He got himself a red one with Top Secret embossed on it. Men!

Thanks for kind comments - I really loved the store, was such a fun day! They have such fabulous stock. I also bought another Rosemunde top - this one was long sleeved and lacy all over. Tried on the J Brand photo ready jeans which were so fabulous, I'll probably get those at some point as I don't have a black pair of jeans

carrie whatever season you are, I really can't imagine beige being a 'wow' colour for many people at all. So maybe leave it and then buy a colour that looks truly fabulous.

anni sorry you're having a rough time. Teething is hideous. I go straight to calpol/neurofen. I found the calpol teething gel quite good though and doesn't slide off the gums as much as bonjela.

Anniani I have also only w.orn my Cos coat once so far and even then I was too warm, the trouble is you can only wear it on dry days. I still love it though. BTW am I the only one who checks the weather last thing before bed to see what coat I can wear the next day (saddo alert).

Longtime lurker, popping up!

Just want to say (vent!) - what a faff returning stuff to the Outnet. RMA numbers and booking couriers etc. Staying in all day. The restocking charge. Blurgh, not ordering from there again.

Things I ordered from Kain very disappointing. It seems there is not a good hit rate with the Outnet? Think I'm sticking with the conventional sales.

Boot news.....returned the black and did a maaahooosive u turn and bought these which don't have the weird shiny toe in RL and which I completely fell in love with. As a sometime, self diagnosed autumn they really work with everything in my wardrobe and I am supposed to be buying less black.
