MrsR I have animal print slippers! getting a lot of wear....love those though.
I like the Ash boots with dresses but they are heeled....and suede for regular playground duty is probably not a good idea.
I could CRY.....those Pied a Terre bikers, that I've had pinned for AGES, were reduced to HALF price and I missed it......NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Haloween Sad

Just went for a long run and I swear I can feel the toxins from weekend being expunged Grin.

shopafrolic · 17/10/2013 15:41

Quiet today. Are we all in mourning for Dry's boots? Have you tried calling their store customer services Dry sometimes they have stock when the web is showing sold out.......and they can check stock in other stores too......
Had the battery replaced on my Michael Kors watch today - it didn't even last a year - not that impressed TBH......
I am getting inspired to try and save some money on our food bills so bought the Save with Jamie cookbook. There's some really good stuff in there. If I can save some food money then my clothes budget won't get cut Grin. Am keeping a food diary but am worried Sleep might disown me. I drink hardly any liquid during the day, and eat badly - it's a wonder I'm alive really........ Well done on the run Marsha. I went to our local Pilates studio today where they have those body reformer machines of torture. There was no-one available to chat to so I need to call them another time but it is ££££ a month from memory. I miss my old weekly Pilates class though and my back has been really bad since I gave up.
Also popped into the Estate Agents for a chat this morning - Now that the house is on the market I just want to move on, but we don't have any viewings booked so think I'm going to have to settle down for a long wait......
Can I please win the award for most disjointed post of the day?

shopafrolic · 17/10/2013 15:43

Oh, and has anyone been watching the Face on Sky Living? It has my girl crush Erin O'Connor so I love it for that alone - complete trashy tv. This week they paired up with the Outnet - I was surprised they'd get involved with a programme like that.... wondered if they are trying to appeal to a broader base. Would love to know the profile of an average Outnet customer......

MarshaBrady · 17/10/2013 16:16

Lol at wonder I'm still alive really. Grin

Yes work is over so have bought about five months solid days free time. So am able to exercise more regularly. Must not blow it on high end clothes.

So Outnet and sales only.

Yep love Erin esp since she used to frequent our Sainsbury's and has good taste in places to live, naturally. But haven't seen it as although it is right up my street (loved project runway) as we don't have Sky

Also went into central London and the oddest thing, traffic pretty much stopped. Such a jam. Have not seen that before.

Foxy how are you feeling?

Am inspired by your post Shop.

foxysocks · 17/10/2013 16:25

Utterly utterly grim. Had to cancel my yoga class the other night. Can't find any comfortable position for my arm. Drugs not helping but had a therapeutic massage this Arvo and therapist was really excellent so am tucked up in bed hoping she might have helped the healing along.

Shop I am v good at cooking on a budget. Ours is small and i have to do DC bits and bobs using it too. am focused on max nutrition min cost.

foxysocks · 17/10/2013 16:27

Oh and my grey tweed RL shorts are here but cannot muster energy to try on when I feel like crap. They look good though, soft wool and cute pleat details. Nice pockets. They are hanging on my wardrobe so perusing them from bed.

LinusDKD · 17/10/2013 16:58

Poor foxy! Can you go back to the dr and ask better painkillers?

I have been thinking about my style crushes lately and I really live Marion Cotillard. She always looks stylish and interesting without being too groomed.

And I love Jennifer Garner. She looks so 'normal' on the school run but then pulls out all the stops on the red carpet.

I think I might go to the hairdressers tomorrow, I am so fed up with my hair. I had it cut on holiday but am not happy with the result.

I had a long bob for quite a while when I was younger and I feel like going for the chop and trying that cut again.

I wear my hair in a messy bun most of the time because I just don't have the time and the inclination to properly style it.

And I am considering a Brazilian blow-dry as I am fed up with frizzy hair on humid days.

The only snag is that I have never tried that hairdresser before but it gets good reviews on a local.expat webiste. Mmmm will have to sleep on it.

And I have decided I don't like Chanel Taboo as it is just too purple for me. I think one might suit this colour though.

Do you paint your nails one? And is it allowed to send nail varnish through the post?

Right, feeding time at the zoo!

shopafrolic · 17/10/2013 17:24

Oh Foxy poor you - I hope the massage helps. YY to tips on money saving meals please (PM obvs as otherwise I'll have to venture off S&B and that scares me!) Grin

shopafrolic · 17/10/2013 17:25

Those that know me - what do you think of this? for zoo days in the rain and sleet?

shopafrolic · 17/10/2013 17:36

Linus Royal Mail view nail varnish as a dangerous item now......Hmm

MarshaBrady · 17/10/2013 17:36

Shop yes I say, defo.

Foxy hope you are feeling better tomorrow.

Linus good luck with the hair cut tomorrow. You sound as if you have thick hair which is always nice.

shopafrolic · 17/10/2013 17:39

Grin Marsha do you remember pleading with me to grow mine on Saturday?

shopafrolic · 17/10/2013 17:55

Marsha how much do you love me?

shopafrolic · 17/10/2013 18:00

New thread set up for when this one is full. Thought I'd save Dry the panic attack. Please don't jump ship early - you know how much it pisses me off!
Marsha PM

MarshaBrady · 17/10/2013 18:07

Just Shop, just.

Which means I probably said it fifteen times Grin.

OneLittleLady · 17/10/2013 18:12

Looooong day of shopping for Monster High Dolls. Both mine and DP's nieces have requested them from 'santa' Of course, one of the requested ones is a really hard one to get hold of but after tramping round every shop I could think of that might have it, I came up trumps and got my paws on one Grin

Will look at dresses linked in a little while, my northern soul is crying out for a cup of tea Grin

Annianni · 17/10/2013 18:17

Have you any photos where your hair is long Shop?
