They sound like 50/50 ones Shop.

Dry I do find dark indigo skinnies with navy leather boots the bomb Wink

Those Celine ones are amazing Linus, the colours alone. But I would worry about clown feet in size 7. They are incredible though.

MarshaBrady · 15/10/2013 21:19

Were they like this?

shopafrolic · 15/10/2013 21:23

Similar........ But leather at the back too - imagine a Chelsea ankle boot, with the U panel of elastic on each side...... But the elastic went all the way up each leg. And slimmer sole and on the foot.
She had a gorgeous Mulberry bag and a chunky knit that looked like the Gucci one but in black. I nearly mugged her!

MarshaBrady · 15/10/2013 21:27

Lol yes all in the name of vogue Shop we wouldn't mind.

Anni found some great Gap boots. Any Gap codes around?

Drywhiteplease · 15/10/2013 21:48

these?

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 15/10/2013 21:53

V similar. But combine the 50/50 slimness, and the higher front than back, with that side panel....... They were lush. Have visions of me tackling her to the floor shouting "IN THE NAME OF MNV........!!!!!"

Drywhiteplease · 15/10/2013 21:55

I have 50/50 s (remember my saga ... They ripped at the top and were badly repaired and as the company were in the states They couldn't help) happily I got them repaired by a seamstress and they work again, they have gotten looser over time though so I sometimes use double sides sticky tape to keep them up! The glamour ! I lufs them, wasn't wearing them yesterday tho so it wasn't me shop saw Grin

Been absent for a while sorry, never caught up on last vol.
Can't find links but got a lovely pair of grey distressed suede boots (jalouses in grey had to go back as too wide ) and a charcoal distressed leather knee high boots - couldn't resist. Will post on pin later for opinions.
skirt (sequin part two one - can t link ) arrived - fits everywhere except loose at waist so not sure - love the pattern though, not sure what to do with it. Will probably keep as I think I love it and can get over the waist, don't think it can be repaired due to the sequins.
Hope everyone s well otherwise - anyone dressing for Halloween ? !!!

MarshaBrady · 16/10/2013 10:45

Hi Turq good to see you. Shopping sounds lovely. Yes I have a Halloween party to go to, everyone does dress up. I usually don't, but am the odd one out, perhaps I should?

Am impressed by fast delivery time from The White Company. Ordered yesterday, a load of bed linen, and arrived today. 30% off some things if anyone needs stuff.

Dry tell them to go easy!

Umlauf · 16/10/2013 11:27

Thank you for the tips mrsR , i am dreading our first post-baby bills, the washing machine is rarely off! The Hush parka is getting a lot of wear although I can't get the zip done up over my birthing hips yet as it's hot but prone to spitting rain.

amber and anyone else who has a j crew tippi? How is the sizing? I'm watching a couple on eBay!

Oh dear turquoise shame about the jalouses. My spirals are coming on Monday with my Mum and her suitcase of my internet shopping that won't deliver internationally, I've gone past the returns period so I hope hope hope they fit... I have narrow feet though so it's not looking good is it!!

I'm still in DHS pyjamas. The baby will only sleep if draped over my shoulder. I can't put him down!!!

shopafrolic · 16/10/2013 12:37

MrsR the breton is great with boyfriends and my cream Supergas - thanks everso - glad you like the cardigan. Will delete it from my wardrobe Pin board! Feel free to move the tee on elsewhere if it's not working for you (or charity shop).

shopafrolic · 16/10/2013 12:59

for Marsha's DS

foxysocks · 16/10/2013 13:05

I had to size down in jalouse to stop them flying off as I wanted to wear with tights or bare feet.

Still in pain, v weepy and down. Normal service will be resumed soon (I bloody hope). Am a fashion disaaarster today in mismatched clothes chosen by my DD, I had no energy to even think this morning so figured she might as well be happy. Floral dress (no surprise), chunky cardi, opaques, legwarmers AND wristwarmers (!!) and a bright blue scarf. She's crackers that one.

OneLittleLady · 16/10/2013 13:08

foxy you're allowed to have off days. You can't be all things to everyone if you're unwell yourself. I can really sympathize with the pain you must be in so please take it easy and have as many fashion disasters as you want, no one will judge you here, you're not at your best and that shows in many ways so rest (as much as you can) painkillers and just be kind to yourself.

Scales say I have lost 1.5 kg Grin

MarshaBrady · 16/10/2013 13:46

Shop very cute, he'd love that. Will show him and see if he likes it (too many jumpers are 'itchy' and not used here).

Foxy sounds good! Hope you feel better soon.

Ok honest opinions on these shearling ankle boots. Cheaper elsewhere but shown with outfit here. Dull or good?

foxysocks · 16/10/2013 13:53

I love them marsha.

Thanks one. X

Umlauf · 16/10/2013 14:04

They're really nice marsha and they've styled them well.

foxy hope you feel better soon. Your dd sounds cool, I hope ds takes an interest in my wardrobe when he grows a bit !!

Mominatrix · 16/10/2013 14:09

foxy I'm impressed that you are even thinking about getting dressed. When I am poorly, I live in pyjamas. Really. For the school run, I throw on a very long coat and Uggs, then back in bed I go.

Well done on the weight loss One! Was it intentional, or a happy surprise?

shop I love that jumper - might have to grab one for DS2.

Umlauf, if I had a baby that adorable, I'd have difficulty putting him down too. My 2 are getting 2 big to pick up, and the elder definitely does not want mummy cuddles/kisses anymore.

I can't do over the knee boots - with my height, they just don't suit midgets like me. The only warm boots I have are a pair of sheepskin lined wellies I purchase years ago from Celtic. Unfortunately they don't sell them anymore so when these die, I don't know that I am going to do. Hopefully DS will have stopped playing rugby and I won't need warm weatherproof boots anymore?

Am going to Westfield this afternoon to to a Zara and Cos run. I want to get this dress which I saw in the Cos in Covent Garden, but they were out of my size. Also want this skirt, and am tempted by this which is very different from anything I own. I'm thinking of wearing the skirt with a white silk blouse and sparkly stilettos for some Christmas things. Yes, or will I look like a tree ornament?

OneLittleLady · 16/10/2013 14:18

A happy surprise mom I can't think of any reason I've lost any weight at all, if anything, I've been eating more than usual so was expecting to have put a little on if anything.

shopafrolic · 16/10/2013 14:29

Marsha I like front and side view but not keen on the back.........
