Liberty I made the soup. It seemed to take me all afternoon to make the stock though! :o

But it was lovely, and dh has just devoured 2 bowl fulls along with half a loaf of nice crusty bread

I bought some new nail varnish today, Chanel Taboo. It looks lovely in the bottle but as it has a shimmer it's a bit out of my comfort zone.

Going to paint my nails now so will let you know whether it's a success or not.

linus those A McQueen courts are beautiful. I like the nail colour....v seasonal .

I'm officially in love with my wonderful builder......he has sorted out my flooring and the job will be done by Thursday!Shock....just need;

A big table, 7ft -10ft, pref with chairs
A sideboard thingy shop that dresser company you linked to is lovely
Painted walls
A session dusting the house Sad

I saw these in the Céline shop window yesterday and I'm in love. They are suede with a leather 'Mary Jane' shoe bit.

They are ££££ and I don't need them but I just love them. Even with the brown heel which I normally dislike in black boots.

Sorry about the rubbish picture but I couldn't find them online.

I have the same problem one!

Even though I am quite chubby (although my BMI is 24.9 since I lost a bit of weight) I have muscly (sp?) calves.

I blame the very short period I played hockey. Wink

Fashion question.......saw a lady in Sainsburys today looking really nice in skinnies tucked into knee boots with some fab chunky knitwear. But I thought the skinnies in knee boot look was done.
Confused of Yorkshire x

linus even at my slimmest, I could never get long boots to fit in a standard size, my legs just don't slim down, they are massively muscled, especially on the calf so I have always had to buy specially sized long boots

I think it depends on the knee boot? I saw a woman with black knee high boots yesterday, almost like Chelsea boots but where the elastic went all the way up each side. the leather panel at the front was higher than the one at the back, super slim on the leg. Looked awesome........wonder where they were from.........

I agree with Shop, Dry, it depends on the boot.

Just like bootcuts and flares being 'out' but they can look nice with the right footwear (and the jeans need to be the right length)
