They do Batman and Spider-Man jumpers too.......

MarshaBrady · 16/10/2013 14:32

Thanks Foxy, Umlauf.

Nooo Shop don't be sorry, fussy is good. I loathe buying things and then realising that there's something I don't like about them. Fussy is good! Grin

Love those Cos things Momin and I'd say you are one of the few people that could look fabulous in that skirt!

MarshaBrady · 16/10/2013 14:33

Meaning I like it and you'd look fab in it. That kind of came out wrong.

LinusDKD · 16/10/2013 15:01

foxy poor you! Thanks I really hope you start feeling better soon!

marsha I like those boots.

mom I really like that dress. I have been looking for winter dresses to wear during the day but so far no luck. Either they are too dressy for the day or they are frumpy.

Umlauf · 16/10/2013 15:19

Thanks mom !! I like the cos dress, I've never tried anything from there, will have a look next time home!

My December shopping fund has taken a massive hit applying for the baby's first passport - all sorts of extras needed including all grandparents birth certificates (£25 each!). Grr!

Talking of day dresses, I have just taken delivery of this which is really flattering but fits very small. I was hoping to wear it now to breastfeed in but will have to wait a while, I still have a stone and a couple of pounds to lose Sad before I get to pre-pregnancy weight. I think I'll keep it until then though, it's always hard to find nice jersey dresses.

shopafrolic · 16/10/2013 15:56

Just round at a friend's house who is looking at some VB jeans on the Outnet. Does anyone know what Ms Beckham's jeans are sized like? TIA

OneLittleLady · 16/10/2013 18:09

Hmm, need a dress for the christmas season. MU ladies, based around what you saw of me in the flesh, is there a particular shape you'd recommend I go for? I usually go for fit n flare type things but feel like I need something a bit fancier this year as I'll be going to DP's works do. The only thing I really can't do is bodycon/pencil skirt as my c-section tummy won't allow for it even under a double layer of spanx! Budget is not massive but can be stretched for something really fab that I'll be able to wear again.

LinusDKD · 16/10/2013 18:11

Sorry shop I can't help you.

But I have a similar question: I have my eye on a pair of J Brand 811 skinnies but have no idea about my size. Who has a pair and how do they size?

And santa what size do you have in the Moncler? I tried on a size 2 but am wondering if I should go for a 1. DM has kindly offered to buy it for me as my Christmas present.

I painted my nails in Chanel Taboo last night and I'm not sure if I like it. I think it might be too purple for me but I'll give it a few more days.

Next colour will be YSL Rouge DaDa (love that name) as I bought it ages ago without even trying it. Blush

LinusDKD · 16/10/2013 19:00

I just ordered this dress as an everyday dress so I hope it's nice.

Not sure of the style will suit me but it looks like an easy throw-on dress which is what I'm looking for.

I also odered one of their crew neck long-sleeved tees in blue and I was very tempted to order some pj's as well (they are brilliant quality) but I resisted for the time being.

umlauf I like that wrap dress. Could you wear a nursing camisole underneath so you can start wearing it now?

shopafrolic · 16/10/2013 19:43

Marsha I've been thinking about the boots driving home - it's not the UGG logo that puts me off so much, it's the strap at the top at the back........ but other than that I like them a lot and I guess you wouldn't see the strap.
There are some Frye shearling lined boots on the Outnet but not sure how you feel about a square toe and more cowboy boot-ish heel?

shopafrolic · 16/10/2013 19:44

linus I don't have 811 but my 620s are size accurate I'd say. The Sashas I have come up large though.
Does anyone own any Victoria Beckham denim??

MarshaBrady · 16/10/2013 19:51

Umlauf and Linus I really like both dresses.

Shop thanks I did a search on shearling on the outnet, yes they might be a bit too cowboy-ish for me. No VB denim here I'm afraid.

I'll put the ones I really want on mnv. But they are too much so have to wait for the sales.

Drywhiteplease · 16/10/2013 20:56

Marsha I really like the Uggs. Think the back a bit different, but it wouldn't bother me.
Linus really like that dress....let us know how it is when it arrives! would be good for my job.
Mom love your Cos wish list. Think the skirt would look amazing on you. I haven't forgotten the recipes...it's taken 2 days to work out how to scan a doc.....defeated...?Have just taken a photo and will e mail....idiot

Hair survived.....not too much shorter but more shape at back, still not absolutely perfect cut, but nearly there......v fussy !

MarshaBrady · 16/10/2013 21:08

Oh I like those Dry. Think there's a Clarks near me, will see if they have them.

Think it's Halloween hat smileys.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 16/10/2013 21:31

Need to do a catch up. Been absent for a bit as I had a tooth extracted last week which has got progressively more painful and I've been mooching around, feeling crap - not sure I could have been much of a contributor. On the antibiotics now, so feeling slightly better.

I know what you mean about the Taboo Linus. I have it on my toes currently and it looks completely different than the hue of the bottle, which looks a beautiful pearly burgundy. In reality it's properly purple, isn't it?

My Other Stories sweater is going back. V scratchy (and I have a high tolerance threshold) but too voluminous and makes me look a bit weeble-ish. I'm sure it'd look great on someone tall and willowy. That'll teach me to go drunk shopping again - it's nothing like Shop's gorgeous Vince sweater.

MrsRadicchio · 16/10/2013 21:32

I like those dresses Mom and Linus. Love the hush styling - have pinned loads of looks I like.

Shop pleased the breton is working for you.

A few random comments I meant to make a few threads back - Linus the blog QueenC pinned said that Kristen Stewart is a dark winter.

Foxy I really loved that Jack Wills (?) top you linked too, much more than the longer hush one.

One - something nipped in at the waist? The first thing that popped into my mind was this but £. Good colour

This is nice too

and in the blue

Any take your fancy? More to know what you are looking for really...

MrsRadicchio · 16/10/2013 21:34

Drunk shopping Grumpy ?? Meant to ask how your next leggings are working out - am still considering a pair. What is the sizing like?

Drywhiteplease · 16/10/2013 21:47

Grumpy have you worn the Stars and Stripes jumper yet? And have the black trousers for the wedding arrived? Verdict?
Liberty and MrsR those are fab dresses.

Shoe question.
For work I can't really wear heels ...with dresses I wear slipper flats or flat knee boots. Ankle boots with dresses work for me but with a heel only, feel stumpy of leg otherwise Halloween Grin........what would you wear? not wanting to look frumpy

OP posts:
Drywhiteplease · 16/10/2013 21:50

Was going to try these......what do those of you who know me think? Would I look stupid? Would it work with above knee skirts/dresses?

OP posts:
MrsRadicchio · 16/10/2013 21:53

Not fashion but Umlauf have you got a stretchy wrap sling? V good for the newborn 'can't be put down' stage.

Dry I like these

Boots with dresses wise, I like ash jalouse / spiral.

MrsRadicchio · 16/10/2013 21:53

Oh Dry do they have to be completely flat for work?
