A happy and safe place to talk fashion (from high end to high street), beauty and the arts. All welcome to bring a positive state of mind, lots of links and an eye for detail.
Continuing on from here

Oh my word, the links are good tonight!

Ruby both are gorgeous, but I say the peacoat.

Sleep those shoes are divine. The colour, the shine.

Linus I adore that shirt.

Thanks for kind words. All ok here, had chat with lovely sister and feel much better. It's not for the reasons I feared. Thanks Squins Smile.

MarshaBrady · 22/09/2013 22:32

And pretty shirt Blooming.

MrsR really like the Plumo one.

Drywhiteplease · 22/09/2013 22:55

I love this classic coat...v me

shopafrolic · 22/09/2013 23:04

I saw you Pin that Dry and thought the same!
Ruby another vote for the peacoat.
Sleep gorgeous shoes. Look after yourself - please eat well tomorrow? NAG

shopafrolic · 22/09/2013 23:05

Meant to say Novice the J Crew lookbook you posted me was gorgeous.

Shop I love the Burberry you pinned. The one with Cara D. But I'm not sure which coat it is on the Burberry site.

shopafrolic · 22/09/2013 23:10

Hmm - me neither! On BB now but does it not click through to the Burberry site? It's an ancient Pin that I was moving to my Autumn Colour Analysis board so might be last season?

libertychick · 22/09/2013 23:12

Sleep hope you have a better day tomorrow. Great shoes – wish I could wear shoes like that.
Blooming Thanks for the feedback on the Cos skirt – what a shame as the shape is great. For everyone else’s benefit this is it
Santa great to hear the potato muffins are good! Did you go plain or add anything to them?
Glad to hear you are feeling better Marsha
Ruby I vote for the peacoat –and struggle to control the envy—Grin

MarshaBrady · 22/09/2013 23:15

It loaded up a whole page of coats. But will look again tomorrow on the mac.

Nice skirt Liberty.

When I went into the store I felt overwhelmed, now I'm wondering whether I should have tried a bit harder to find the right Burberry coat.

libertychick · 22/09/2013 23:27

Marsha ever since I bought my coat I have been seeing coats everywhere that I think might be better - we have too much choice!! The Marant and the Sessun are both gorgeous and give you lots of choice for winter.

BrandyAlexander · 23/09/2013 00:39

Ooh Sleep, those shoes are divine!

I am still travelling.Hmm Waiting for my connecting flight. I will get there in 3 hours time, where I will have a short meeting about the speech I am giving tomorrow. Which I wrote on the flight hereGrin. [email protected]! Oh and I forgot my connector thing for my ipad and phone. cue immediate spend at the airport. I really shouldn't be let loose on anyone!

libertychick · 23/09/2013 07:31

Grin at novice. Hope it all goes well.

MarshaBrady · 23/09/2013 09:02

Liberty I love your coat, it's gorgeous.

Good luck Novice!

shopafrolic · 23/09/2013 09:24

Morning all - I seem to be wearing a dress with leggings and boots - I'm not rocking the look at all - not quite sure what happened - I think the terrible weekend has influenced my style choices (badly).
Off to put some make up on (yes, I did the school run bare faced Hmm ) and have a strong talking to myself.

OP posts:
Annianni · 23/09/2013 09:35

Morning all...

Lots to catch up on.

Novice, good luck, hope it goes well and you don't lose or forget anything else
Hope you and dh make up properly too.

I found our last house move so stressful, it was hideous.

Decam so sorry about the house.
Hopefully you'll find something even nicer.

Marsha
My dm was so disappointed when Ds1 was born a boy.
She even said something along the lines of not being able to take him shopping etc.

I think when family live in another country, so much pressure is put onto visits.
Where as if they're local, you can have a disappointing day out, but a better visit the next time.
If that makes sense?!

Ruby I love both
Have you tried them on?

Glad you had a good weekend Liberty.

And that you're mending ok One.

Love the j crew coat Dry.
I agree, it is very you.

Shop is today shiny trouser day?

Amber what did you wear in the end?

Sleep love love love those shoes Envy
They remind me of the Gucci ones from '96, '97 ish

Mig I love the shape of the bag, but I'd probably go for a different print, than the hearts.
But if you love it, then just ignore us lot :o

Annianni · 23/09/2013 09:38

Don't worry about it Shop, I'm not showered yet and wearing yesterdays clothes :o

We've had an eventful morning involving...
Wet uniform
Sick
A wasp
A spider
And a tantrum.

LinusDKD · 23/09/2013 09:41

shop I have been know to drop the DC off at nursery barefaced and with wet hair (but only when DH is traveling and I have to do the mornings by myself)

novice what are you like!

ruby I like both coats.

sleep I bet it wasn't hard for your DH to buy those shoes. They are every man's dream shoes for their wife or girlfriend. A bit like novice's Brian Atwoods Wink

dry I absolutely love that J Crew shirt you pinned yesterday. Such a pretty colour.

shopafrolic · 23/09/2013 09:47

Anni yup today is shiny leg day! And what is it with the wasps ATM? There was a really angry one who wouldn't leave DS and I alone in the garden yesterday - flew into his eye but thankfully didn't sting him so we ran inside and hid!
Sleep hope you had a restful night. What did you wear to your wine tasting in the end? And yes Amber what was your outfit?

OP posts:
Annianni · 23/09/2013 09:54

We've had a busy weekend moving bedrooms again.
I'm back in ours mine finally.

Just got to put some Laura Ashley flowered wallpaper up for dsd next weekend and upstairs will be nearly finished thank god

Now we just need to buy...
A double bed for Ds2's room.
Wardrobes for our room.
A wardrobe for dsd.
And some new internal doors.

And we'll have done 5 rooms in just over a year.
Which isn't too bad when you realise that includes a loft conversion.
And the bathroom being stripped back to bare brick that was fun

foxysocks · 23/09/2013 10:15

there is an awful lot of banging and crashing going on. am hiding in sitting room with DS perusing outnet for some normality

Annianni · 23/09/2013 10:16

Aw Foxy it'll be fine :o

foxysocks · 23/09/2013 10:17

I know anni! am not so bothered about today but am teaching three classes here tomorrow which makes it a whole different ball game.

libertychick · 23/09/2013 10:19

Well done Anni - great work on the house.

Decam somehow I missed that you were pipped on the house - really sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed that something even better comes up.

Today I am wearing indigo 7FAM skinnies and COS navy linen slouchy sweater over a black vest top, silver heart necklace. Working from home so no shoes yet - will probably go with ASOS black chelsea boots if I venture out.

I love working from home - get more done and can MN a bit... Smile

libertychick · 23/09/2013 10:20

Keep breathing Foxy - it will be so good in the end!

Annianni · 23/09/2013 10:25

Oh dear Foxy, good luck!
