After 1 hour, dc2 is down, now off to see dc1 who also doesn't want to sleep. Dh has gone out for drinks/dinner with his friends.

One my Mother (4ft9....,I'm the tallest woman in our family at 5ft3 ....father 5ft8, DH thought he'd come to a house of elves first time he met my family. My mother couldn't believe the 6ft giant I was marrying and his 6ft3 best man!!!!Ds 6ft 1 is a freak!!! )-anyway my mother always said

Kylie will have nothing on me by the time I'm done ladies Dp's mate is chatting to me now and has emailed a load of stuff to me that he used with clients so I can get a grasp of what he will be doing with me. Just need some gym wear and some trainers as I don't own any

One before you fork out for a gym membership why don't you just go walking? It's free and a great way to stay fit.

I already walk everywhere I can dry and it's obviously not cutting it even though I walk for at least two hours a day, every day

one last time I was at the GP the receptionist measured me and I had lost 1 cm (? Inches) in about two years time!!! I told her that was impossible and when people ask me how tall short I am I still give them my true height.

amber I hope you are recovering well and are not too sore today.

I saw two lovely cashmere cardigans at my local shopping centre this morning and I am so tempted to buy one of them or both as the colours are gorgeous.

Unfortunately the picture doesn't do the colours justice. The blue is a proper cobalt and the green is a lovely emerald.

If I don't buy anything in Rome this weekend I might buy them next week.

There's a small photo on mnv for Santa, of dsd's room. Had to crop the photo as dh was in it.

santa I you could see the sightseeing programme DPIL have sent us (they invited all their DC and WAGs to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary and rented a flat in Rome for 4 days) you would see there won't be a lot of time left for shopping.

I love sightseeing, especially in Rome as it's been about 20 years since I last visited but their programme is nuts!

My DS has just climbed into his cotbed and the base collapsed. Called Mamas and Papas who say it is out of guarantee and they don't sell spare parts as the bed has been discontinued. We paid £475 for it! Not impressed. Am about to rant on every parents website, Twitter feed and Facebook page I can think of.
Final house valuation this afternoon.

Hi everyone, happy birthday Anni! Hope you are having a lovely day. Re kitchen, I think wherever it is located it ends up being the 'centre' of the house where everyone hangs out a lot. For me that means I want as much light as possible, whereas I think a cosier feel can work better in living and dining rooms. Its hard to say without seeing the space, light and plans in your house but I would still be inclined to keep the kitchen with access onto the garden.

Umlauf and [champagne] - congratulations!! Lovely news, I am very of new baby cuddles.

Well done on gym membership One - make sure you get a good sports bra . I highly recommend Shock Absorber Run bra.

I won this sweater on Ebay on the weekend, it arrived this morning and I am so pleased with it I am wearing it with james perse skirt, anthracite wolfords and pistols.

So I left the building site at work to come home to another one!There is a big hole in my wall at the moment and the builder said he was bringing the "strong boys "in ...v exciting! my day seemed to be improving , disappointing......they're support strutt things holding first floor up a comforting thought....not however his assistant is v pleasing to the eye and has a very cute miniature jack russell. Think I'll survive this build

DS on strike day....has a girl round . His DVD choice "Braveheart" he'll learn , the last girl who came round was made to watch "Gladiator", she dumped him! she wanted "Made in Dagenham" guess who wom? I like her! keep walking through the family room to "get stuff"!!!!
