Hello again! LO sleeping finally so I've been able to catch up properly, or at least on the last couple of days worth. As you can imagine I'm none too fashionable at the moment (currently sporting nursing bra and DHs PJ bottoms, phwoar!) so I haven't any contributions! I was reading last week´s Grazia (was meant to be a bumper fashion edition) in labour though and was most disappointed by it. Are the shops in the UK as uninspiring??

novice glad you are UGG proud! I have worn mine to death they are so comfy. I've got sheepskin insoles for smarter boots too so I can still feel the hug for your feet when dressed up!

turquoise so sorry to hear about the house, I have so many friends trying to get on the property ladder and are always pipped to the post by buy-to-letters, its so incredibly frustrating. You'll find a better one!

I'm not very impressed by next seasons fashions. The S/S shows at Milan/Paris/NYC all looked pretty samey samey. On the plus note, it means I don't have to buy much to look current as most of it seems to be variations on a well trodden theme.

I have heard that Elle McPherson nursing bra's are not too hideous. I have to confess I never bought a nursing bra-just had a normal front opening one or hoiked a back opening one up! I imagine continental European lingerie has better nursing designs than the UK. There is a blog/website by Julia Roitfeld Restion (Carinne the exFrench Vogue editors daughter) called 'Romy & The Bunnies' that specialises in Mother & baby fashions/beauty/lifestyle that you might like to follow?

What a shame . I had it when I was PG w/ DS and it isn't the ideal way to spend your time....Glad that it isn't the more serious bacterial type although the headache can be just as awful. Be careful not to move around too much after a LP- the site needs to seal and it can trigger a post LP headache if you don't stay flat as much as you can. .

mig if you could give my two toddlers the staying still memo I'd be grateful! Laid still for 5.5 hrs post LP - will have to do :)

Oh dear amber I've had that too (when I was a teenager) and it sucked. Rest as much as you can with two toddlers, take any and all help you may get offered and just be kind to yourself.

Oh Amber I know it is hard to do . Is there anyway a family member could help out or Dad? Hopefully it will stay sealed after 5.5. Take care of yourself.

Amber ouch! Poor you - I hope you get well soon. My friend's DH is recovering from the same - advised to rest for 4-6 weeks! Not sure how that's possible with little ones?!
I have problems with my knee joints and ligaments ATM - am having physio and acupuncture - gold needles today (I'm allergic otherwise - so posh you see!). So painful but it's really freed everything up which is good news.
We've chosen our estate agent - pics on Thursday. EEK!
