A happy and safe place to talk fashion (from high end to high street), beauty and the arts. All welcome to bring a positive state of mind, lots of links and an eye for detail.

I'm reverting to type and the only Autumn item I want to purchase is a bag...Sophie Hulme ..typical!! Anni can I be cheeky and ask that if you still have the code for matches I could try it? Thanks!

mignonette · 27/09/2013 23:01

Space I like the gold/stripe Wang top and the bag is cool I like it.

I have been fantasy shopping at Anthropologie and this is what i like-

Pale cut out boots;

Sexy Chelsea boot shape-very cool;

Different w/ the embossed flower motif;

Pink Oxfords;

[[http://www.pinterest.com/pin/457326537131846954/ Geometric print pants that do tempt me;

Hudson chestnut boots;

Daydress and here's a closer view of it

This sweater must be amazing in the flesh;

Sweater from the back;

Cardigan. I do love a cardi, me.

This Tory Burch print is all over her S/S collection and it is so pretty although somewhat 'inspired' by the Flora Bamboo Gucci print originally from the 70's. I adore this Phillip Lim Summer dress from his latest collection and this Stella look.

Sorry for the bombardment of pins. I pinned a bit more from the Tory Burch collection and some runway shots I liked especially but won't post them all here!

mignonette · 27/09/2013 23:02

Mucked up the Hudson link.

mignonette · 27/09/2013 23:22

i pinned two gorgeous coats from Maison Scotch too- This cool alternative to the pink coats...

And this more reasonably priced green tweedy job. A close up here.

I think they are really expensive looking.

QueenCadbury · 28/09/2013 06:24

Morning.
amber that all sounds stressful. Hope you're ok.
mrssheep shop is an autumn.
Will try and catch up on all the links when I'm a bit more awake!

MarshaBrady · 28/09/2013 06:52

MrsSheep that Sophie Hulme bag is so pretty. I think you should get it, even if not your season.

Morning. Everyone asleep, I'm awake on a Saturday morning, typical.

shopafrolic · 28/09/2013 07:38

Morning all! Yup, I'm an Autumn, and there's an Autumn thread on S&B too that's worth a look.......

MrsR have just ordered the snake print monk straps you have in the M&S sale - are they good?

MrsSheepiness · 28/09/2013 08:01

Morning, thank you Shop will head over to that thread later. Thanks for the enabling too Marsha!!!

MarshaBrady · 28/09/2013 08:14

Any time Grin

BrandyAlexander · 28/09/2013 08:21

Morning all! Amber, hope your family are all better today.

BrandyAlexander · 28/09/2013 11:21

Wearing my new favourite jumper, the helmut Lang asymmetric beige waffle type sweater, over a j crew powder blue Matisse t-shirt with gap always skinnies tucked into my Uggs. I don't apologise for my Uggs!Grin oh and my 'new' bag found in my wardrobe which is an Aspinal barbarella in cobalt blue.

foxysocks · 28/09/2013 11:49

sounds like a great outfit novice. i never apologise for my uggs either, I adore them.

amber that sounds so stressful! is the spending ban over? how are you getting on?

am wearing black skinnies, charcoal l/s top, with sleeveless grey marl hooded sweat over the top. and knee high thick green knitted cable socks, to be replaced by the grey/coral vejas if we venture out.

it's grim weather here but I am enjoying the peaceful clean house, ahhhh. I cleaned it top to bottom as soon as the builders left yesterday afternoon! oh maaan the DUST.

selfridges home sale has started. I am eyeing up a kettle. rock and roll.

AmberNectarine · 28/09/2013 12:22

foxy no, but I'm being a little more relaxed as I am ahead of target.

I am committing MN Vogue sin of wearing a tunic over leggings. In my defence it is a nice black and white Breton style Malene Birger tunic. Am also wearing biker boots and my cobalt Chan Luu scarf.

Thanks for kind wishes - DS totally back to normal. I still feel pretty dodgy but am plugging away with my antibiotics.

MarshaBrady · 28/09/2013 12:33

I am in Rag&Bone very dark indigo skinnies. Love them, best skinnies I've had. And yellow J Crew t.

Doing some work for Monday, actually really enjoy working with everyone around me. I can hear the dc playing together and dh listening to the radio somewhere. Helps me think. (Bizarrely!)

foxysocks · 28/09/2013 12:44

I get that marsha. had some v v focussed yoga practices this week with the crashing and drilling sounds in the background. somehow easier to take attention inwards rather than being in complete silence.

I forgot to answer your boot qu, I am loving them but they haven't had much use yet. wore them with a silk floral minidress to toughen it up, and with my wang twisted skirt last week on the only cold day. i keep thinking it's truly autumn and then it turns hot again! = fashion limbo.

amber well done for saving ahead of target, really looking forward to see which bag you choose in the end.

mignonette · 28/09/2013 12:48

Am off to try on that red ombre knitted sweater from Anthropologie, the 'Emma Slither' black Chelsea boots and the cream shoe boots. I can only have one of the boot choices though.

DH sadly working most of the day-boo hiss- but planning on an early supper then a film. I want to see 'Mademoiselle C' and fortunately he has agreed that he too would be happy to watch it (He liked The September Issue) so no shoot them all dead whilst torturing me w/ noise type film tonight Smile. Just need to decide where to eat; Bocca Di Lupo is my choice as not too far away from the cinema (The ICA) and also has fabulous ice creams at Gelupo for pudding.

Marsha I am a fan of Rag&Bone skinnies- the fit is not too 'yummy mummy' and has an edge plus not so stiff as to hurt the delicate skin behind the knees. I like noise when I work at home- I hate feeling shut away.

Have a good weekend all.

mignonette · 28/09/2013 12:49

PS- My Mother is giving me her Chanel flap over bag and The McQueen Novak. I am so happy. Will post pins of them when they arrive (Or I go to collect them).

Her bag collection rivals Selfridges.

santamarianovella · 28/09/2013 13:55

novice your outfit sounds very casual chic,

amber hope you and your ds are ok

marsha i enjoy hearing the noise around me too,just not the fighting and screaming!

mig yay! i would run like the wind to collect them!

santamarianovella · 28/09/2013 14:41

shop i hope you get to enjoy the weekend relax a bit Smile

sleep you have been quiet lately,how did your evening at the connaught go?

mrssheep which diagnosis will you go with? it sounds very confusing!

LinusDKD · 28/09/2013 18:02

Getting ready for my night out!

I've decided to wear the teal Sportmax blouse (which still fits, but only just) and skinnies. And depending how brave I feel I'll wear the Colts as well.

The Sportmax dress with leather neckline looked lovely but was a bit too dressy for the ocassion.

My hair looks a mess despite having washed and blowdried it this morning but the humidity turns it into a frizzy mess.

Feeling very nervous as I've only met the hosts briefly once before and probably won't know anyone else.

Confused
Drywhiteplease · 28/09/2013 18:18

linus your outfit sounds perfect! You'll be fine, it's just because you don't know them......I always find that nights I worry about are always the best because you're pleasantly surprised. Have a good time and a few Wine for me! Smile

LinusDKD · 28/09/2013 18:37

Just pinned a piccie on MNV! Eek!

LinusDKD · 28/09/2013 18:47
