I have to share this amazing foundation/BB cream

It's actually BB cream but as I'm old fashioned and don't really know what that is I'm just calling it foundation.

Found it by accident mooching round boots.

It's the botanics radiant youth BB cream. God it's truly amazing, makes my skin look dewy and youthful, I'm pale but think the medium looks better. I'm amazed that at 10pm at night it looks as great as at 10am in themorning.

After years of buying YSL and more recently that Estée Lauder shite that makes me look like a corpse I am over the moon to find one like this an £8 for 50ml GrinGrin

So it's not orange? Every one I've tried so far has been!

MissBartlett · 25/08/2013 23:47

Knew it was going to be this one! Am using it and loving it too. Interesting you're using the medium. Just started with pale and wondered if I needed a bit more warmth...will test next time I'm in boots!

Mosschops30 · 26/08/2013 00:08

No orangeness at all no, it's just perfect.

I tried the pale (and I am proper pale blonde hair blue eyes) but the medium looked better on my face I thought and not too dark either

I have been searching for a decent BB cream and so far have been unsuccessful - off to Boots I go!! Thanks for this OP.

Theimpossiblegirl · 26/08/2013 00:26

I was pleasantly surprised by the Rimmel BB cream I bought (skint but had run out and it was £5). It's also factor 25- does this one have sun protection?

Gunznroses · 26/08/2013 08:38

What does BB stand for and is for sll skin types do you know? Been looking for something like this.

recall · 26/08/2013 08:40

what is BB cream ?

mrscog · 26/08/2013 08:52

I find the Maybelline one good and not too orange but that's £8 for 30ml so might try the botanics one next time!

Fairyliz · 26/08/2013 09:12

Mosschops
Could I ask you what sort of skin you have dry/ oily etc. Also as it is the radiant youth are you a more ahem mature lady if you don't mind me asking!

SpringyReframed · 26/08/2013 09:12

I've started using it too OP - just like you I found it mooching round Boots. I really think it has improved my skin. Grin I bumped into the lady who does my facials (when I can afford one!) and she said I was looking great so it's not just me.

I got medium too as most are too dark/orange on my olive type skin and it is a bit pale on me. I counteract this with a bit of mineral powder on top but when it runs out I will definitely check out the darker one. It is definitely not orange!! Grin

Mosschops30 · 26/08/2013 09:13

Just checked yes it has SPF30

I use the garnier anti aging one but its a bit greasy. Looks good though.

BB creams are brilliant for me as I never have time to moisturize and put make up on properly.

Mosschops30 · 26/08/2013 09:20

fairy when I saw it I was a bit Hmm about the youth thing, snotty boots lady when asked said 'its to combat the signs of ageing before they happen then gave me a look that suggested I was not in that bracket'

So I originally didn't buy it, but then I though 'sod you love' and got it, glad I did.
Am 38 so not fulfilling the radiant or youth target GrinGrin

I've heard the L'Oreal one is also good but I've not tried that yet either. Might start with Botanics though as it's cheaper and we're skint

AngieM2 · 26/08/2013 21:08

What does BB stand for?

DIddled · 26/08/2013 21:10

LOreal BB and CC cream are both excellent.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 26/08/2013 21:11

I have the Kiehls one but it's £££. Will give this a shot next.

Rootvegetables · 26/08/2013 21:13

I got the no 7 cc cream from boots for my wedding makeup as I never wear any and it was amazing!

ggirl · 26/08/2013 21:16

I think BB stands for beauty balm , no idea how it differs from a tinted moisturiser.
I've tried the no7 one and it gave me spots , but I'm ancient with oily skin.

ggirl · 26/08/2013 21:17

Is there a DD cream yet Grin

slightlysoupstained · 26/08/2013 21:17

BB is blemish balm isn't it?

BOF · 26/08/2013 21:17

I really like the Maybelline one. Not at all orange.

vix206 · 26/08/2013 21:18

It stands for beauty balm

Fancies40Winks · 26/08/2013 21:19

I was recommended the No7 bb cream here and I love love love it. I'm pale, it's not orange, it's subtle but covers well enough to tone down my post-gym redness. And it lasts very well.

bunnymother · 26/08/2013 21:22

Should we be using BB or CC? I am a bit lazy and confused. Like, I want to do research on what I should buy, and need to, but can't be bothered.
