I am getting my hair cut tommorrow, and am losing the plot.

it is long atm. It is brown. It is kind of wavy in a bad way.

It is so thick and wiry you could...oh I don't know, do something deeply funny with it.

I have an oval face, a huge nose, and seem to develop a centre parting despite all odds.

It needs to be absolutely zero maintance. Nowt. Medium length good. No super short styles, they require extensive make up or else geography teacher fleeces IMO.

Can someone just please tell me how to cut it? Please? Someone must know about these things.

LOLOL the good looking thing is a widely held misconception on here which I am trying hard not to dispel. I am buggered if there is ever a meet up.

I do think I could be your duller, older sister though, yes :)

I wash my hair every day too fillyjonk otherwise it would be smelly and revolting.
though if you are uncomfortable with slightly manky hair, I am rather doubting your lentil weavy qualifications

FillyjonktheFluffy · 13/06/2006 07:47

No, I cannot pretend to like manky hair. Not even to join that oh so exclusive lentil weaving club. We need a lentil weavers sign in thread, I am constantly amazed at who is a lentil weaver.

Now I am off to prepare for my appointment with Violet. She asked if I wanted a dry cut, is that a bad sign?

Washing your hair every day just makes it produce more grease. But also makes it dry and manky at the ends.

Was my hair smelly and revolting when you saw it HC?

(I presume that is you with the comedy percussion btw)

harpsichordcarrier · 13/06/2006 07:48

a DRY CUT Shock
well, put it this way. they didn't used to offer a dry cut at John Frieda iirc.

harpsichordcarrier · 13/06/2006 07:50

yes but not washing your hair every day makes your hair MANKY AND SMELLY
I have washed my hair every day for over twenty years. It is, conincidentally, dry at the mo but that is because of the peroxide/straightener issue.

harpsichordcarrier · 13/06/2006 07:51

franny I don't know whether your hair smelled or not. I did not sniff it, despite you begging me to do so all day GrinWink.

FillyjonktheFluffy · 13/06/2006 07:51

yes, i have never been offered a dry cut before

i mean, they are charging £30, they must be ok, yes?

Shall I perhaps not go?
