I am getting my hair cut tommorrow, and am losing the plot.

it is long atm. It is brown. It is kind of wavy in a bad way.

It is so thick and wiry you could...oh I don't know, do something deeply funny with it.

I have an oval face, a huge nose, and seem to develop a centre parting despite all odds.

It needs to be absolutely zero maintance. Nowt. Medium length good. No super short styles, they require extensive make up or else geography teacher fleeces IMO.

Can someone just please tell me how to cut it? Please? Someone must know about these things.

I quite like \link{http://mysticmuse.net/images/gallerypics6/buffy_season4_willow_promo_10.jpg\this}

and she looks a bit like me...

only...sleeker and generally better...and thinner....much....

but anyway, whats that haircut called?

Filly, it sounds like you could be in my clique- the hair bear bunch. My hairdresser .. and she oves me dearly, describes my hair as.. coarse. It is thick , strong and waves in exactly the way you don't want it to. If left to dry on its own I look like all of the hair bear bunch on my mown.
However, straighteners are my salvation and can be yours too. I wash my hair and dry it and then strighten it. I only do it twice a week and then it holds the style. It does look fantastic ( which is a good job as the rest of me aint up to much SadI bet yours would too. You just need a good cut . How about a choppy bob ?

SleepyJess · 12/06/2006 21:46

FillyjonktheFluffy · 12/06/2006 21:46

FillyjonktheFluffy · 12/06/2006 21:49

yes but there are different types of bob, yes?

I am planning on getting the perfect haircut tommorrow, you see.

do I have to use these straighteners every day?

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 12/06/2006 21:50

FJ that last one you linked to is an absolute No is you have thick wavy hair. That girl has fine straight hair. You really must get a grip.

I love my GHDs but it does take a little while. How often do you wash your hair?

FillyjonktheFluffy · 12/06/2006 21:51

{shock]

every day of course

Shock

to do otherwise would be minging.

OP posts:
FillyjonktheFluffy · 12/06/2006 21:51

Shock Shock Shock Shock

OP posts:
SleepyJess · 12/06/2006 21:52

Well... I wash my hair every other day and straighten it every time I wash it.. although sometimes I have a bad hair night and have to straighten it a little when I wake up (I normally wash dry and straighten it before bed.) Straighteners are really the ansswer FJ, until the perm comes back proper that is..

GHDs straighten like shit off a shovel! Lesser types, a bit longer..

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 12/06/2006 21:55

WHAAAAAAAT? You have thick, long, coarse, wavy, dry hair and you wash it every day?

Fuck me, woman, I bet it's like a bush

plus how exactly are you planning to wash it up a mountain???

FillyjonktheFluffy · 12/06/2006 21:55

no i meant the first one...i do timeless fashion, really...

OP posts:
SleepyJess · 12/06/2006 21:55

Those are nice robinpud.. but they look as if they are high maintenance masquerading as low maintenance... It's that deceptive just-got-out-of-bed-look-but-ever-so-trendy-and-stylish-anyway... If I try that I just have the just-got-out-of-bed-look literally and nowt stylish about it..

FillyjonktheFluffy · 12/06/2006 21:56

oh i will find a way, trust me.

anyway its not bushy, its luxuriant. in a dry way.
