Dry and Sleep yup my Dressing Room jacket! Must try harder.....thanks for the kick up the backside :)
Linus I've PMd you
Love all the PJ links but I always get tangled up in bed wearing them....

GwendolynMoon · 25/06/2013 21:45

Carrie I love new pjs for Christmas although they are normally more novelty reindeer type affairs than stylish White Company ones Smile

Primark ones sound great Happy I have a fab button down oversize sleep shirt that I bought from there while pregnant that I have liven in but is now too warm.

Hi, I know, I have a confession (no not crocs Wink).

You were all so nice about me going back it's hard to post... But it didn't quite work out. The briefing was just too dull, so different from the interview, I pulled the plug on it. Everyone was ok I said best that you don't do 20 induction meetings and that I don't meet the client.

I let them know today and spent the day in the sun.

Am very relieved. I forgot how five minutes could feel like half an hour. .

shopafrolic · 25/06/2013 21:52

Oh Marsha shiiiiiiitttttt! Are you okay with it? Sounds as though you are?

shopafrolic · 25/06/2013 21:53

And you got your hair done Grin

QueenCadbury · 25/06/2013 21:53

Evening all. I'm sitting here in my pjs too (boux avenue). I always ask for a new pair from dh every Xmas to open on Xmas eve so I'm photo ready on the big day!

one you'd feel sadder if you owned it and it just sat in your wardrobe.

grumpy I'm terrified of snakes (dreaming the snake charmers in Marrakech) so I'm afraid I don't like the pattern of the skirt although can totally see if looking good with polo and opaques.

My heroes this year have been my pink cardi, my red cardi, my gap navy broderie anglaise top and my gap distressed jeans. Villains have been a linen tee from h&m (went out of shape when washed), a linen tee from next(went out of shape when washed) and the gap navy crops which I just haven't had an opportunity to wear yet ( and weirdly they were my most considered purchase!).

I'd really like a couple of day dresses for AW but because of my long torso I find dresses a nightmare to fit. I've pretty much given up on skirts too as I always seem to feel frumpy in them and thy just don't seem to work for me Confused. I'd alo like a pair of classic knee high boots. Ankle boots don't particularly work on me because of my short legs.

Dd has done 4 wees in the potty today, one of which was at nursery. I don't think I can put the potty training off any longer. It's time for the nappies to come off and the big girl pants to go on. Wish me luck Grin

marsha well done for making that decision and not just going ahead with it anyway.

Drywhiteplease · 25/06/2013 22:00

Marsha sounds like a very brave decision, you are wise. Glad you had a nice day in the sun.

Drywhiteplease · 25/06/2013 22:03

Cheeky shop Wink...just Chanel no 5 then?

Sleepwhenidie · 25/06/2013 22:05

Marsha! Never mind, sounds like you may have had a lucky escape Smile.

Shop - darling - I don't actually sleep in my pj's, just slob lounge Wink

One - don't do it, I think buying clothes to shrink into (also for an unspecified occasion) never really works, you may find it doesn't suit even when it does fit and if it doesn't ever fit it will just piss you off Smile.

QueenC sounds like potty training will be a doddle, she's obviously ready.

DH is on a plane bound for China Sad - back Saturday night. I am off to bed soon, have a training session in the park with a recently PT i know from the gym in the morning, he wants to practise before getting some real clients Hmm

MarshaBrady · 25/06/2013 22:08

Thanks so lovely as usual (relief!) Shop I'm fine mostly because I neatly had a panic attack at work sitting at a computer and no one was talking to each other. I thought holy crap what is this, no talking and people in head phones. Briefed and left with a folder for hours. Time stopped, bad office hot air. Texted Dh with oh no no, too silent to even talk on phone. Went outside rang rec cons (that was hard), went in this morning, very, very nice person had a chat for fifteen minutes. Said strategy too different I can't add as much value (true), they said but are you interested in being trained but no. I thought it would be similar to last role (lots of thinking) but very different.

I'm ok, I'm thanking my lucky stars I could end so quickly and without giving a month's notice. I didn't want them to spend any time preparing me for launch in two months if I wasn't going to stick around long enough.

Phew!

Also I think the hours were very long so would have been tough for dc.

shopafrolic · 25/06/2013 22:09

Shit! So now I've got to invest in PJs because I never realised you didn't actually sleep in them? So what the hell are you all sleeping in when you're not slobbing. Perhaps you shouldn't all answer that!
Dry you make me laugh like no other! I'm not that glam i'm afraid!

MarshaBrady · 25/06/2013 22:09

Ah love you guys. Seriously that time stopping thing was baaad. Forgot about that.

Ok now to catch up on vogue. Missed you guys Grin.

shopafrolic · 25/06/2013 22:12

((((((((((Marsha))))))))))
You poor thing, well done for getting out quick, and it sounds as tho DH is fabulously supportive as ever? I bet you were so anxious this morning. At the risk of sounding terribly patronising I'm super proud of you! Don't kill your creativity in an environment like that. You're too talented. Xx

MarshaBrady · 25/06/2013 22:19

Ah thanks Shop I may be blacklisted thanks for being so nice really helps! Dh was great as ever, he texted just go. It's fine just go. I was in a tizz and didn't sleep all night but it was fine, think they were Confused but it was so different to last role.

Need to sort out cc things, but might all be ok!

shopafrolic · 25/06/2013 22:25

Have PM'd you Marsha

QueenCadbury · 25/06/2013 22:25

I sleep in my pjs. If I get into bed naked then dh knows it's his lucky night Wink

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 25/06/2013 22:27

Queen Grin

shopafrolic · 25/06/2013 22:30

Oh and pyjama bottoms are too short and make me look like a tit as they swing wildly around above my ankles!

Drywhiteplease · 25/06/2013 22:30

I actually sleep in my pjs and chanel no 19 Wink (mixed tonight with the sexually alluring aroma of St Tropez gradual tan.......DH glued to rugby/tennis/cricket he won't notice).... Now silk pjs sleep sound heavenly.

MarshaBrady · 25/06/2013 22:35

QueenC Grin. I wear standard Hush pjs. It's always cold at night due to lack of curtains and draught.

shopafrolic · 25/06/2013 22:38

Whip round for curtain fund for Marsha? :)

shopafrolic · 25/06/2013 22:41

And then I see that Hush do long lengths in their PJ trousers! Now I'm tempted
