Carrie nice! Love the orange ballets and the jacket is great.

Have just been reading the Times supplement, "50 things every woman over 37 needs"...( beauty products) If I buy it all it will set me back £1054.79p! Think I'll pass on the bee sting facial ! What a load of crap.
What you need is; a decent magnifying mirror and tweezermann tweezers and several glasses of Wine before looking Wink

Caitlin Moran' s guide to festivals for women is fantastic and Mig "how to make your own ice cream"....but I'm sure you know this already .

Drywhiteplease · 29/06/2013 18:02

Hello All. Sorry I've been AWOL for a while!

I'll catch up on the thread later but could you please help me out?

Have any of you shopped with Revolve clothing? I'm trying to order something but it asks for a zip code. I've put the country as UK and entered my postcode but it won't proceed until I enter a zip code. It def does international shipping doesn't it?

GNRRRRGHHH!

shopafrolic · 29/06/2013 19:27

Waves at PAris but no idea about Revolve - sorry!
Anni your Pin comments are making me chuckle!

foxysocks · 29/06/2013 19:30

haha just seen the pins and comments! anni do you really need both? be sensible, pick your fave! x

have never shopped with revolve, sorry paris

I could cry watching djoko, he doesn't put a FOOT wrong. I'm not sure I have the nerve to watch the final if it's murray vs novak, I'll be a wreck.

BrandyAlexander · 29/06/2013 19:39

Hello all!

I picked up my 'Carrie' necklace today. It's fab. Also picked up my silver watch. Whilst picking those up, I bought a watch and ring. I will find and link later.

carrie74 · 29/06/2013 19:39

Sorry Paris no experience of Revolve either.

Cheers foxy! Can't face wine tonight after a heavy one with friends last night at Jongleurs.

Oh noes about the seam back Ts. Wonder if I should just send them straight back in that case? Will sleep on it.

Off to check on today's pins

BrandyAlexander · 29/06/2013 19:40

Sorry Paris, I have no idea either! Hope someone can help you.

shopafrolic · 29/06/2013 19:53

Such good tennis!

Decameron · 29/06/2013 19:56

Paris, yes, I've bought from Revolve, they definitely deliver to Europe.

LinusDKD · 29/06/2013 20:02

Sorry paris no experience with revolve clothing.

I went into town today for a bit but I came back after 1.5 hrs as the weather was foul and the sales uninspiring. One department store already had a lot of A/W items on display, I saw some lovely Isabel Marant Etoile.

Sooo looking forward to our trip to NY in three weeks time, I need a change of scenery. I am already salivating thinking about the lovely food we will eat and the shopping opportunities.

AmberNectarine · 29/06/2013 20:34

Happened to my seam back tees too!

LinusDKD · 29/06/2013 20:55

statement necklace

For shop

BrandyAlexander · 29/06/2013 20:55

Linus, one of my favourite ways of passing time in New York was to go to the upper west side.....

Start with filene's basement on broadway between 79th and 80th, grabbing designer clothes at bargain basement pricesGrin (sadly now closed) then on to Amsterdam between 82nd and 83rd. That's where Fred's is. Fantastic food for brunch. Then, laden with heavy bags and heavy stomach, I would walk through Central Park down to 59th. Then goto 5th avenue. Stop in j crew, saks etc then pop to Barnes & noble for a read and a coffee. Bliss!Grin

shopafrolic · 29/06/2013 20:59

Thanks Linus. Hopefully my Outnet ones will arrive on Monday....
I'd love to go back to NYC, haven't been since my twenties. MNV Christmas shopping trip anyone? Wink

MrsRadicchio · 29/06/2013 21:01

Still not caught up with the thread - lots of interesting discussions.

But just popping on to say does anyone want

this hush jacket

Apologies for the tiny pic. It is a s/m and I should have got m/l - it just annoys me when I see it as it is a nice jacket. I can email more pics if anyone is interested.

Also this necklace - really like it but necklaces close to my neck don't really suit me.

shopafrolic · 29/06/2013 22:25

Just on my way to bed and looked out of the window to our garden. My M&S neon tee is glowing in the dark on the washing line Grin

Decameron · 29/06/2013 23:32

Novice, we used to live on 81st and Amsterdam. Loved Fred's. Isabella's on 77th and Columbus was good for brunch too. It is such a cool city. Think I should get Dh to transfer back! Probably wouldn't be the same with kids though.

Funny about the tee shirt, Shop!

AmberNectarine · 30/06/2013 06:48

Look Shop!

BrandyAlexander · 30/06/2013 07:43

Oh my goodness Decam! I have never had another Brit say they knew Fred'sShock i am v nostalgic about it. Isabella's was fab too. I loved loved loved living in New York. I lived in midtown - soulless but my "corner shops" were Saks, Gap, J Crew and Kenneth Cole. Sigh. The amount I shipped back....Blush! These days dh and I only ever go back for business and never togetherSad. He wants to go for a weekend this summer for wedding anniversary but it feels too far away from the kids. I am actually back there in 2 months time but its for about 24 hours! The most I will be able to do is go to the Sephora on Broadway.

Decameron · 30/06/2013 08:52

We lived in midtown for the first month, nearly stayed there but we had friends on the upper westside. A weekend together would be lovely if you could bear to leave the kids. We are thinking of moving back to Ireland and part of the attraction is that we could leave the DDs with family and go to New York again! I found the 10 days annual leave tough though. It was nice to move back to London and get 25 again!

shopafrolic · 30/06/2013 09:04

Not as edgy as yours was Amber but thanks!
Morning all

Drywhiteplease · 30/06/2013 09:44

Shop That's the answer to our energy problem......who needs street lighting when you can just put up a few M and S neon tees!Grin

MarshaBrady · 30/06/2013 10:17

Morning, what glorious sunshine.

Love the (vogue) travel chat. Imagine an NYC meet up. I didn't live there but Boston for a year, we went a few times and loved it so much. I even drove down but found Boston traffic harder at least NYC is just straight lines.

Dses have been to so many more places that we did since we were tucked away in back of beyond, we had nice beaches to make up for it. Still go often.

Foxy love your yoga chat and Sleep that feeling of pushing things. I always sprint at end of a long run for that I'm going to be sick feeling but it's worth it for the high just beforehand. And that control of body thing I used to get doing ballet en pointe. I always remember had good that felt.

Shop great links, Anni great stuff on compliments be interested to hear which jacket you keep.

Novice love the BBC link for holidays going to check it out.

Dry your tennis talk was making me chuckle.

Hi MrsR and Paris great to see you.

QueenC your night sounds fun, love the late night post.

Ok memory has run out of steam.. Hang on.
