Opps - lazy reading - just realised the gold coated jeans are Santa! Am now Envy of your legs!

libertychick · 25/05/2013 23:42

Novice gorgeous watch - did you get your 'Carrie' necklace from the same brand?

LinusDKD · 26/05/2013 05:35

Yep, Liberty no gold denim here due to lack of long/slim legs. Oh, and I have been eying those Me & Em trousers for ages but might wait for the sales to get them or will they have sold out by then?

I love those dungarees MrsR I wish I could wear those but am too short.

I've started a board on Pinterest with all the things I love but just wouldn't look good on me. It is getting pretty full. Sad

Marsha I have thought about your question but so far I can't come up with anything so I will have a look at my wardrobe later.

QueenCadbury · 26/05/2013 06:46

Gah, why is my dd the only child out of 8 that gets up so bloody early (5.45) And the worst thing is that she's still tired so really whiny. If we didn't have so many guests I'd put her back to bed but I don't want her to cry and wake everyone else.

linus I have a board like that too.

marsha can't think of anything. All my clothes are pretty classic dull

AmberNectarine · 26/05/2013 06:46

This is probably the most out there thing I have, just because there is nowhere to hide in it! I've yet to pluck up the courage to wear it!

QueenCadbury · 26/05/2013 06:58

Oh amber you should definitely wear it. Your boobs would look fabulous Wink

LinusDKD · 26/05/2013 07:15

Wow Amber! We will need photographic evidence when you have decided to wear that dress. Wink

QueenC DS has also been up since 5.45. I feel your pain!

shopafrolic · 26/05/2013 08:21

Morning all.
The twins aren't identical in theory but the reality is that the only thing that tells them apart at the moment is a freckle on one of their heads! They were gorgeous and DS was very sweet with them. It did make me very broody, for the first time since I've had DS, but then we had an awful night's sleep so that feeling has diminished again now!
Loving all the 'out there' clothes. I don't think I have any Confused. It's probably dresses / skirts in general as I rarely have the confidence to wear them. Need to get me some Marsha mentality........ :)
I have noticed that wearing skinny jeans is starting to make my knees creak and ache (old person alert) so need a few days off - boyfriend jeans today for me.

santamarianovella · 26/05/2013 08:47

morning!,
amber,lovely dress
liberty,dh loooled when he first saw them,he was having a look at my larger than usual package from shpbop and said: they must have sent it by mistake! its a pretty shimmery gold and looks nice with silk black top.
linusi could never pull of dungarees too,or jumpsuits!
shop i have these brooding moments often, but still i feel not ready yet!

shopafrolic · 26/05/2013 08:50

Sweedish Hasbeen owners - can you tell me about them? Comfort, heel height, sizing? Am contemplating buying some to wear with my Jimmy Jimmy's but am worried I may look like a knob!

Drywhiteplease · 26/05/2013 09:01

QueenC did you post a pic of new hair do? Can't see it in your photos. Sounds great.

I don't have any "out there" clothes because I'm a bit safe. Skinnies were really out of my comfort zone for a long time until I joined MN

foxysocks · 26/05/2013 09:36

i would love a jumpsuit. well, a playsuit really - shortie, strapless, for hot summer days

have gone from frugal may so overboard may in one outnet order. got the grey marl wang skirt in one size up to see if it's a better length on me and these slouchy white jeans

I LOVE those me&em trousers, i could do with some black trousers but can't afford them atm.

foxysocks · 26/05/2013 09:41

btw yellow DvF replacement pair are perfection. the others had defo been on display or something. this pair are pristine.

and j crew jacket in a XXS much better so the XS goes back this week.

phew! shopped out. nothing else till some big sales hit. must stay focused!

LinusDKD · 26/05/2013 11:34

Have the Me & Em trousers in summer navy in my basket but am hesitating as it costs 15 £ to have them delivered where I live Shock and the sales are going to start soon so maybe I should wait a bit longer.

Lovely jeans foxy

BrandyAlexander · 26/05/2013 11:43

Morning all! I feel sorry for the early risers, we were there too this morning. It's so hard and I am knackered already.

Liberty yes I got my carrie necklace from the same folks, Magnolia. novice necklace. It's handmade so I won't see it for 2 months, which has made me realise that it's my best friends 40th coming up so if I want something special I need to order it now! They don't do online but if you want anything, I am happy to get it for you and post it. Just pm me.

I am all coordinated in purple today. Purple warehouse cowl neck, stone skinny cords from Banana Republic, a gorgeous accessorize scarf and then gold and amethyst jewellery including the locket my parents got me for my 21st birthday and the first 'me' ring I ever got myself - from solo holiday to Paris when I was 26 and newly singly.Smile

One of my out there outfits.....a sequinned teeny tiny gold boob tube (a present from my motherShock) which I wear with black leather skin tight trousers (which I had made to measure in Buenos Aires) and strappy sandals. Mr Novice loves it.Grin

LinusDKD · 26/05/2013 11:46

Sorry about the DM link but is this your dress Amber?

Jessie J

Annianni · 26/05/2013 13:12

I'm in Manchester, childless... and I can't find any Rag & Bone boots

Thought Harvey Nicks would have them, if not Selfridges.

Have tried some Dickers on though, which did look much nicer on than the spirals I tried a while ago [bloody typical emoticon]

Just been drooling over the Sophie Hulme bags and Celine in HN

Drywhiteplease · 26/05/2013 13:38

Not surprised Mr Novice likes that outfit.!!!!!Wink

Leather biker jacket I suppose is out of my comfort zone.....absolutely down to MNV that I bought one (albeit not a black one) but I love it...on again today. Maybe I should keep count of the times I wear it to calculate CPW.....people do spreadsheets for this you knowShock

santamarianovella · 26/05/2013 14:29

ani which rag and bone was it? I'm loving the harrow ones ATM,will wait a few months before buying boots though!
And speaking of celine bags, saw thisbeauty in Paris last month,The photo does not do it any justice ,simply gorgeous .

AmberNectarine · 26/05/2013 15:19

It is indeed Linus - she is clearly a Wang fan also!

LinusDKD · 26/05/2013 15:38

Even though I dress much more conservatively than Jessie J (the understatement of the century) I love how she has her own style and can pull off outfits that are so out there they would look strange on anyone else but her.

And her hair, don't get me started on her hair!

I would kill to have hair like that. Obviously not the blonde do she has now but the glossy black fringed sharp bob she used to have.

And those legs!

AmberNectarine · 26/05/2013 15:58

Yeah, safe to say I won't have quite the legs in that dress. Hopefully the boobs will distract!

santamarianovella · 26/05/2013 16:03

i agree linus her hair is amazing ,she should grow it back.

LinusDKD · 26/05/2013 16:11

Oh yes, the boobs will distract! Grin
