I bought one of the items of my "want" list, a silver watch. I also got a "Carrie" necklace. Less popular now so happy to get it

Yay, the sun is out! Chocolate cake is iced (looks nothing like nigella's), pecan pie is baked (looks nothing like mary berry's) and we're awaiting friends arrival by which time it'll be wine o'clock.

Had my hair cut this morning. Can't seem to upload a photo but I took inspiration from kiera and went for an angled bob. I love it and so does dh!

I am willing the sun out in Wang bloomer type shorts, and grey I&I jumper. Probably the most out there thing I own, the shorts that is. I do love them. They are slouchy with good pockets, can't beat a good pocket. Dh is at work doing stuff, so I should get some brownie points and my relaxing weekend starts tomorrow.

I don't know how you do it Marsha! I know it's sunny but I am still in jeans, long sleeved tee and a longline cardigan I am at the theatre tonight with dh and will wear a knitted dress and boots. In May

Btw I have a 20% code for M&S for this weekend if anyone needs it. Was in the queue and got given a reusable voucher (can be used online too). Will post it when I find it in my bag. Was a nice surprise after the mini haul for the dcs!

Am wearing new black sheer v neck batwing top over Goldsign skinnies with leather biker and Charles Philip leopard slippers. Feel disgusting as I spent half an hour in the dentist's chair this morning and had that special kind of sweat on you only get with fear. Bad times.

Out for a few drinks with DH tonight, think I will wear white skinnies and Wang twist front top.

Today I wore the Jimmies again and I really, really love them. I might even see if they come in white or grey as I have been converted.

I feel I must disclose that I have stayed home today, so in the sun trap sheltered garden and no one other than the dc have seen the bloomer style shorts! Although I'd probably still wear them somewhere louche .

I thought two things whilst doing some work today. a) isn't Jimmy Jimmy a great name for a boyfriend jean and b) if we did a venn diagram we might be able to populate the middle section with a fair bit of Wang.

On that note, what is your most out there garment? The one you put on and think this is really stretching my sartorial edge?

My shopping trip was fab. Took glasses case...but no glasses!DH didn't buy "not being able to read price ticket" as an excuse !!!! Was restrained, but had a good mooch and lunch, and drinkie later

Marsha I have thought that too re the 'Jimmy Jimmy' - perfect! I am so tame with my clothes that the item that challenges me most is this skirt as the colour is very strong. I had to get glasses recently and I went for these model 1701 in the purple colourway which feel like quite a statement on my face.

Great question Marsha - mine are these dungarees I love them and don't feel "out there" in them but I know they are an acquired taste!

marsha I have many ! sometimes you want something that is the opposite of what you normally wear, so I have this top I love it, but it's too blingy , It looks good with distressed jeans,but toooo shiny! And I know you said garments but i have these wedge they are really shiny in RL,the photo does not bring out the blinding gold color.
And I have a pair of coated jeans,in gold
I love these items,but they are obviously not things that can be described as my style.

Today's outfit was all based around shades of purple. Maxi skirt, ribbed vest top, 3/4 length sleeve cardi, ballet flats and a floral scarf as a sling. Felt gothy yet summery

Not an out there piece of clothing but I have just moved these Me & Em trousers from my 'ordered' board to my 'wardrobe' board on pin. They were waiting for me on return from hols today and have just tried them on and they are perfect! Great fit, perfect length and as comfy as trackpants! I can tell already the CPW will be v v low .
