Amber have you seen the new Warehouse try it on thing on their website? Please do a blog post about it. e.g. here's what the model showed me looking like in it, here's what I actually looked like...... not sure if it's a helpful tool or not...... There's a thread about it - general consensus is not.....

shop here you go
I had no say in this, put it down to a mid life crisis, better than a motor bike I guess....but it needed bloody foundations!! Not sure whether we have s or m, but it can seat comfortably 16 ffs! Grin.... And it's not as if I live in a country mansion either!!!! I honk our neighbours suspect we have a dodgy hot tub in there!!!Grin

Drywhiteplease · 27/04/2013 18:35

I meant " think" although "honk" sounds much better Grin

shopafrolic · 27/04/2013 18:39

Amazing!!!!! Need to track them down the next time we go to the Game Fair!! honk does sound better and YY - if you lived in a cul de sac with that in the garden I would be suspecting keys were being left in a bowl at the door. But it's brill!
Next MNV meet up at the shed?! Grin

OP posts:
Drywhiteplease · 27/04/2013 18:56

A MNV meet up in my shed would be hysterical and you could stay over as it has 3 pull out beds!!!!Grin

shopafrolic · 27/04/2013 19:17

I'm in!

shopafrolic · 27/04/2013 19:17

DH says if his job doesn't work out can we move in?

OP posts:
MrsRadicchio · 27/04/2013 21:08

Wow that is some shed dry. Better make sure DH doesn't see it, he has been making noises about wanting a "man space".

Here is the correct link for the white brogues

shopafrolic · 27/04/2013 21:15

My DH has now seen the 'shed' and is asking all sorts of questions. Does it get smoky? Does it get too hot in summer? Can you use it as a sauna? I think he's tempted!
Love the brogues MrsR especially the sole.

Great brogues MrsR - hopefully someone will turn up and tell us where they are from!

Drywhite that 'shed' is amazing. Definite 'keys in bowl' vibe but what the hell Grin I am not showing it to my DH - we have just built a deck so that's enough for now.

SJP always looks good! But she is so teeny tiny and skinny that I almost automatically assume I cannot do anything she wears.

Amber good call on the Jimmy Jimmy jeans.

libertychick · 27/04/2013 23:11

And YY to an MNV meet up in that shed! I'm in the Lake District in May - how about then? Grin

MarshaBrady · 28/04/2013 00:27

Am home now. Was a fun day. Amber looked fabulous as ever in P Lim tee. And I finally saw the leggings of fame- Hopefully's. Looking forward to mnv version! Grin .

MarshaBrady · 28/04/2013 05:40

Love this shed talk. Hilarious. Grin

Oh also got to see Amber's excellent Jimmy Jimmys. Good work on the brilliant freebie!

Am always awake so early if I go out.

BrandyAlexander · 28/04/2013 06:26

Good grief Marsha! It's not even dawn yet is it?!

Was Envy at the sound of your long legs!

Annianni · 28/04/2013 07:54

Fabulous shed Drywhite
I'd have to plant some pampas grass, to wind the neighbour's up :o

We could do a mnv shed tour, ours is now going to be built out of bricks like a little house with a slate roof and a lean-to for ds2 to play in.

I don't think it'll be done for May though Liberty, so I'll just wave as you pass me on the M6 :o

Sleepwhenidie · 28/04/2013 08:10

Hi everyone from my sun lounger in Doha, it is almost 10am and about 30deg already we won't talk about the practically unheard of cloud and showers on my first day and a half. It's been a great few days catching up with my friend. The party was fantastic, ended in the pool at about 4am (don't worry Marsha, I swapped the Acne dress for a bikini first Grin!

Welcome Early and Paris, loving the chat and links here. Sounds like a nice lunch was had and your shed sounds great Dry. We have a similar thing in our garden, no woodburner though Envy, it is a playroom (playdoh and paint restricted to there), gym (DH's turbo trainer) cum guest room for us. But what did you wear in the end for your evening Dry?Smile

I have had a lot of time to catch up with fashion magazines whilst here (my case weighed a ton as it contained Vogue, InStyle, Red, Elle, Grazia....)! Two snippets I thought worth reporting....

Amber can I be first to bow down to your fashion forward ness...there is a pair of white studded cowboy boots from R&B in the Vogue supplement Grin, sorry, can't find them on website to link.

If anyone is interested there is a pop up J Crew store happening at Central St Martins on 11 May.

Have to move sun loungers now, from beside friend's pool to the poolside at the Four Seasons - apparently the food and service is better thereGrin. So tough. Flight home tonight which is a bit Sad but also Smile because I am missing DH and DC's.

Hopefully · 28/04/2013 08:34

dry that is one awesome shed.

Lovely catch up with some MNers yesterday, lots of admiring of Marsha's Iris and Ink cashmere and all-too-brief admiration of Amber's leopard print and fab new buys (major tube skirt envy here).

Not feeling remotely delicate this morning, and it took me ages to work out that I basically forgot to get another drink after about 9pm, so was sober by the time I got back at 12:30am after a (hilarious) cab ride with Marsha.

Bought a couple of bits yesterday, including a pair of flats! Lovely slipper flats. Looked out for some trainers but none that grabbed me so will do an ASOS order tomorrow I think. Also tried on Havaianas and like the slimmer ones, but no good colours in the shop I tried them on, so will also order them.

I also bought some white (off white, actually) jeans - Topshop baxters - and will be trying them on with lots of things tomorrow and deciding if they work. Think they will be nice with slipper flats.

MarshaBrady · 28/04/2013 08:51

Novice I know! I was awake even earlier before the sun rose. I don't drink anymore during the week cos I always wake too early.

Love, love hearing about your holiday and Sleep's. Sleep love your attitude, at the food and service being better. Am all for the good life. Grin

We have a small shed full of stuff. It might be last on the Tour list Grin.

Hopefully me too on the water, a bit later on though, so feel ok now. Great flats.

Drywhiteplease · 28/04/2013 08:55

Morning....another bloody hangover ( home made limoncello ,mbira belle brandy and raspberry gin.....after champagne and white wine, not a good combo!)... Next week will be dry for DryGrin

I adore SJP style wise....she just always looks a bit quirky but fabulous.

Was it the London meet up? Sounds like you all had a great time.....can we have a full account?
The rest of us had a virtual meet up in my DH shed. Grin at pampas grass! shop it doesn't get smokey at all. There's a technique to lighting it ( took ages to learn and a few smoke filled, freezing evenings to master), it gets really warm inside. Haven't had it over the summer but it has double glazed!! windows that you can leave open I guess.

And for a night in the shed I wore.....burgundy skinny jeans, cream lace top, 2 vests, nude ballet pumps and chandelier earrings.....needed a blanket!

MarshaBrady · 28/04/2013 08:55

The party sounds amazing btw. Glad you had the opportunity to wear the amazing Acne dress again. And glad it didn't go in the pool! Grin

MarshaBrady · 28/04/2013 08:59

A rather big group Dry, lunch at 1.00 in Chelsea, which then segued into evening drinks. Rather a long mu! It was great fun. Lots of chat. Good outfits.

Really looking forward to doing our version and meeting lots of you Smile.

MarshaBrady · 28/04/2013 09:10

Santa love that dress. Did you get it?

I like SJP's style too and that it reflects NYC.
