Do you think Zoe Zarssen knows M&S have done an homage???

shopafrolic · 05/05/2013 16:28
Hmm

libertychick · 05/05/2013 16:29

Went browsing around M&S due to to Shop and hopefully's t-shirt love. For those of you who don't suit cream they have it in purple too so I have just ordered!

libertychick · 05/05/2013 16:32

For clarity, I have ordered the T shop and Hopefully have in purple not the ZK poorly executed rip off!!!

libertychick · 05/05/2013 16:35

Grumpy I have frequent fits of thinking I should get off this thread - not just because of the cost but it takes far too much of my time - but then I think sod it, I hardly ever drink, don't smoke, never get out....I need one vice Smile

LeFreakCestChic · 05/05/2013 16:40

After many moons lurking here and on the meand Em site I bought
this in plum
Plum?! Why did I do that? Confused What goes with plum except black opaques and that's not exactly spring wear is it? . At least I can try the style out for size.

I also bought the navy tulip dress since y'all rave about the dresses.

Love the LKB flats in yellow. Any idea what the cheapie KG site is? I'm sure it was on here a while back. Think there's a gap in my shoe cupboard for black pointy spike heels...

This thread is taking me to only being able to eat Spam and beans bankruptcy.

libertychick · 05/05/2013 16:44

Cheapie KG site

Nude fishnets with the plum???? Or just sheers? Although I know lots on here hate all mention of sheer tights! Smile

shopafrolic · 05/05/2013 16:45

Liberty I spend too much time on here and I drink - what's my excuse!?

OP posts:
libertychick · 05/05/2013 16:48

You have a way more outrageous past that me Shop therefore you need more vices - will that do??

libertychick · 05/05/2013 16:49

'than me'

Hopefully · 05/05/2013 16:51

I think I will order another M&S t-shirt. The picture is hideous, but it is lovely IRL. And Hmm at the zoe karsson effort. I'm not the biggest fan of ZK stuff, but that's just rude.

DH and the boys have been preparing a BBQ downstairs for when I finish work, am rather excited!

shopafrolic · 05/05/2013 17:07

I'll take that Liberty!
Enjoy the BBQ Hopefully

grumpy,i know how you feel,im trying to stick to my shopping list and im finding it soooo hard!
i spend way too much time on here,my RL friends are busy with their families or work ,and when we meet at play dates or for coffee,we hardly talk about shopping.so i like hanging on this thread and reading about everyones else purchases, its fun around hereSmile.
and enjoy your purchases, they sound lovely.

QueenCadbury · 05/05/2013 17:22

novice you don't sound like a Tesco shopper but if you have club card points you can exchange the for drayton manor tickets. It takes a few days for them to be sent though.

anni that's the exact headache I had.

Not sure what my excuse for being on here is other than for a few hours minutes a day it escapes the realities of looking after 3 dc Grin

Annianni · 05/05/2013 17:53

I've had to come for a lie down after tea.
My own fault for making risotto for tea and standing up for ages in the kitchen.
It's too noisy downstairs too.

I'll get some of those tablets when I go to sainsburys tomorrow QueenC.
My period is due next week, so it's just like what you had.

I've ordered a navy cotton coat today, and bought a cheap green leather bag too.

I'll link later...

Oh, and I spotted a stripe dress that you might like Amber

I'm pleased that you bought that dress Liberty. If I shout at you again, will you order that Whistles jacket in navy? :o

MarshaBrady · 05/05/2013 17:53

It is a nice distraction on here, from say, going to the park again. A lovely, nice and frothy just like the real vogue.

Linus don't do a tankini, go for a swimsuit, they can look great. Eres do amazing ones, if you fancy doing that again.

Shop ah hope you find the LKB flats.

QueenC and Anni hope you feel better soon.

MarshaBrady · 05/05/2013 17:56

..but with better people Grin.

Hmm at that M&S t. There's a whole subsection of the high st dedicated to closely paying homage, (ripping off) designs. And they do it so quickly.

Annianni · 05/05/2013 17:56

I don't know how you all cope with dh's being away.

Mine has usually left by the time we get up at 7.
But he's home by 4-30 and usually plays football etc outside with the boys, while I cook.

shopafrolic · 05/05/2013 18:20

I thought I had a friend coming round to keep me company this evening. I got my days wrong. Home alone. Miss DH already - Bank Holiday doesn't help I guess. Have no plans tomorrow, need to sort something out as I can't listen to the Happyland train set and watch Thomas TT all day - I'll go mental. Must be a better mummy!

Ah bummer Shop. I need dh to break up the times with dc too. Btw did you decide to do the 2 days a week work?

santamarianovella · 05/05/2013 18:27

shop we are here,DH took the kids out ,and i have the house all to myself, for 30 minutes!.

ani i hope you feel better that sounds painful, was it always like this?

Annianni · 05/05/2013 18:34

I'm here too Shop

Dh has taken ds2 for a walk past the duck pond, and to his dad's for an hour.

I'll have to be ready with pj's for when they get back though.

shopafrolic · 05/05/2013 18:37

Thanks guys.
Yup Marsha I've sent a quote through (It's actually 2 days per month!). I think they were hoping I'd include call costs (lots of outbound CRM type calls to make) in my day rate so not sure if they're going to go for it or not. We'll see. TBH with DH starting new job we've got a lot on while we figure out how many trips he'll have away, time to commute, office hours etc so we'll have to see how things pan out.
It may be more cost effective to keep me as a FT SAHM than have me working.....

I love that you have ducks near you Anni. We're watching Iggle Piggle and then off to do bath time.
