wish I had a spare £400

Foxy just to be clear I don't own that bag I just really, really want it!

When DH bought me the trio the salesperson did show me a nano as well but the colour really didn't appeal to me. (I did love the shape though so I googled Céline nano and found the cobalt beauty)

I did try it on and it is a small bag but I love the fact that it's crossbody which is the only type of bag I use at the moment with a toddler and a baby.

Camping?

Hopefully · 04/05/2013 20:21

Foxy I bought (and sent back, because colour wasn't quite right) a pair of les chiffonniers leather leggings and the leather was bloody gorgeous.

Aww Amber, I so miss getting to choose DC's clothes! Mind you, I love seeing what DD comes home with and I enjoy passing things on to her. My DPs gave me a beautiful sheepskin coat for my 21st. This year I passed it on to DD and it looks fab on her and she loves it. (She is a bit of a hipster/vintage fiend, though like all true hipsters, would deny it to the death). All of you with young DCs, enjoy this stage, but look forward to enjoying the people they'll become.
Right, enough Wine for me, I'm becoming maudlin!

Lovely flats Shop.
DH finding it difficult all day with DD (also 2.4) too. One day last week he had her standing at the door ready to go and I was given less then two minutes to change my shoes and take her away when I got home from work!!!

Those flats are amazing shop,
Cute shoes amber
I saw the nano at selfridges last year, the were for display only, but I haven't seen it since, not even at celine boutique in Paris,it's really tiny, lovely things linus,
I like the cardi/jacket grumpy
I'm desperately searching for a lace skirt, I love this : www.shopbop.com/scotia-lace-skirt-diane-von/vp/v=1/1532623774.htm?folderID=2534374302063359&fm=other-viewall&colorId=13149 , its soldout in my size, might try the j.crew one,but this is the one I like.

shopafrolic · 04/05/2013 22:12

Only two pairs left in orange in my size. Think I'll go to store to try on. So much for me not buying any shoes because of all my dress purchases!

It was me with the Boden cardigan, Linus, I like it, wore it today. Love Me & Em too, and that Celine!

Great scarf and Nikes, Anni.

Lovely watch, Grumpy. Dh just asks me what I want too, which is fine by me. In fact I am owed a wedding anniversary present and if I don't chose something soon, the offer will expire.

Shop, the days can be long with a toddler, you have my sympathies. DH does not travel any more but he is never home (I tell a lie, I think he may have been home at 6.30 once) until after the DDs are in bed, from when they were newborn. I am super strict with bed times as a result. I have had enough by 7.30!

Cute high tops, AmberJunior. I look forward to your blog!

Decameron · 04/05/2013 22:36

Topaz, I already see flashes of DD1 as a teenager. Scary!

Sleepwhenidie · 04/05/2013 23:04

Hi Grumpy the cardigan is lovely, I have the black/white version from last year and bought that one as mothers day pressie for my v stylish MIL this year. The blue is much brighter in RL. I would advise sizing up if in any doubt, the sleeves in particular are a very slim fit. I always get loads of compliments when I wear mine.

LinusDKD · 05/05/2013 08:05

I have never seen this bag in real life but I LOVE it, especially the zipper detail.

Shop I saw those flats in LKB last weekend, they are really nice.

Meant to be working hard today, but it's such gorgeous weather! Typical.

QueenCadbury · 05/05/2013 08:32

Morning all. So much for our weekend going to friends. Both me and dd1 spent yesterday throwing up. I don't think I've ever felt so rough in my life. I could manage to read a post at a time and then fell asleep. Still feeling incredibly weak this morning.

I'm glad it's not just me that struggles with dc when dh away/working late. Luckily mine doesn't go away much, just occasionally to conferences or to teach. My favourite is when he goes to Boston as I get rewarded with Tiffanys. He's rarely home for bedtime but I can't really complain as we made the decision that he would work extra so that I don't have to go back to work. It also makes more financial sense as he can earn far more doing a few hours a week than I can working and paying childcare.

Anyway, loving all the links. grumpy love that cardigan. shop love the lkb flats. I'm still loving the pink ballet flats I bought but I haven't worn them yet so thinking of returning. When do you all wear your flats? I live in my converse but as soon as it warms up I tend to move straight onto sandals.

As for kids parties-either on a wooden floor, outside or hire somewhere! Definately no carpet!

BrandyAlexander · 05/05/2013 08:35

Morning all! I am stressed. Ds turning 2 soon. Between him and dd they have everything. I know this for an absolute fact Grin as I have just spent an hour on amazon.

BrandyAlexander · 05/05/2013 08:36

Oh god, poor you and dd QueenC. Get well soon x

shopafrolic · 05/05/2013 08:57

Ha Ha! Novice. I know the feeling. Does he like trains? What about a trip to Thomas Land?

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 05/05/2013 08:59

QueenC hope you all feel better soon, what a shame you've had to cancel plans.
DH has gone. I made the mistake of giving DS one of his birthday gifts (from January) to keep him occupied. It's the noisiest thing ever! Think I may have a nervous breakdown before DH gets back.

Morning All! On phone so forgive any weird typos!
Some lovely links.
Cooked dinner at friends house for uni friends annual get tog. Dog ate my choc torte and the bread too. Oven switched off half way through roasting! Crap. Luckily lots champ to soften the blow and prevent me from roasting the dog.!
Shop ... My sympathies. It's horrid being in charge alone when dh away.
